A Hop, Skip And Jump (OPEN)

Lucian had recently discovered a nearly wholly creature community and loved it, he could be himself here, he was respected, he was noticed for something that wasn't a good answer in class, he was noted for who he was.

Moving through the forest, catching glimpses of things that looked a bit like dementors, Lucian quickly found his way to the more hospitable part of the forest called the 'Silent Stones.'

It's name was no joke, it was completely silent, it was crushing, and made him feel like if he broke it something bad would happen, so, smirking, he whooped loudly totally breaking the silence.

Stealthily, Charmin picked her way through the forest. Recently, she had found this completely creature community, and oh how she had loved it. Here, it was normal to be something that was not considered normal to everyone else. She didn't have to pretend she liked to drink alcohol or anything along these lines. She could just be Charmin Rolans, the psychopath.

Charmin peered through the trees into an area called 'The Silent Stone'. She knew that it was named as such due to the stillness of everything. She saw a boy in the midst of this area, and laughed as he let out a big whoop which gave her the opportunity to sneak up behind him and lean down so her lips were just beside her ear.

"Hello, little boy." She purred, sensing that he was not as young as he appeared. She leant back and frowned as she inhaled his scent. She had smelt it before, and as she tapped her chin she realised that he was in fact an incubus. SHe 'ahh'ed with a grin. "Although, perhaps you are not so little after all."

Lolly peeked around one of the tall grey stones, basking in the silence. Her head was empty for once. She decided the Silent Stones were her new favourite place.

A young-looking boy came into view, and whooped loudly. His head wasn't buzzing like most humans. More filled with entertaining emotions, nothing too serious. It made Lolly feel light-headed as she watched from just behind the stone.

Then, from out of the foggy trees appeared a lady, beautiful yet scary. Lolly looked on as she approached the boy. The waves of emotions rolling of the two swirled together and mixed like the tide. It was actually quite serene, but exciting at the same time. A cool breeze lifted her curly hair slightly and she blinked a few times to keep the dust and dirt out of her eyes.

Charmin's nostrils flared as she picked up yet another scent. This one was far more woodsy, earthy, naturalistic. She heard the very subtle crunching of leaves beneath feet, and her head whipped in the direction of the person whom she knew now was a Nymph. She took a step away from the incubus and towards the head that had just poked out from behind one of the stones.

The black in her eyes contrasted vividly with the pale of her skin, and she smiled in her most dangerously eery way as she lifted her hand and beckoned the Nymph forwards. She smelt wonderful, but not in an edible way. Charmin appreciated the smell of the forest immensely.

"Come forwards, young Nymph," Charmin spoke in a perfectly smooth and hypnotic voice that she had been practicing for around a century. "Tell me, what is your name?"

Lolly's eyes danced with anticipation as she felt the woman recognise her presence. The dangerous feeling in the lady's head intrigued her, but it was a funny feeling - like being tickled. It made her want to giggle slightly. Not moving any farther away from the stone, Lolly slid about it so she was leaning against the rough surface but in full view of the pair.

"Lolly," she called, voice ringing clearly in the silence. She bit her lip to stop herself laughing with glee. The trees seemed to be very excited, she figured, because the two in front of her had no way of making her feel so giddy.

Charmin laughed softly, the sound echoing around them much as Lolly's loud words had. She sensed the excitement within the Nymph, and saw such emotion play out in her eyes. This made Charmin curious, and she dropped her dangerous act for a more normal act. Slight insanity.

"Interesting name, Lolly," she commented, rested a hand on her hip as she heard a soft breeze rustle the leaves upon the trees and felt said breeze brush against her skin. "Pleasure to meet you. Charmin Rolans at your service." Charmin bowed with a flourish of her arm, but straightened quickly and eyed Lolly with expectancy.

Lolly saw what she'd felt ages before as the woman before her dropped the act and instead turned to a slightly manic person. She blinked and cocked her head to the side thoughtfully, blonde mass of curls bouncing with the change of stance. Curiosity radiated from out of the lady. Not only that... but there was an underlying bloodlust as well. This person was thirsty but fighting it.

"What's so interesting?" She asked.

The lady rested a hand on her hip as she spoke. Lolly weaved in and out of the stones as she made her reply. "Charmin. I bet that's a better name than mine," she giggled as Charmin bowed. "You're not at my service! Vampires don't serve Dryads, everyone knows that." She laughed outwardly, and it sounded curiously like the peals of a bell. Lolly hid behind another stone and peeked out at Charmin again.

Lucian suddenly had his hairs on the back of his neck stand up and before he knew what was what he had two girls around him, one was definately not a girl, she was a woman and not even a woman she was a vampire, having dealt with vampires before he merely sighed and moved away from her.

Watching the conversation between the vampire and the alleged nymph that kept popping out from behind the rock Lucian rolled his eyes slightly and waited for them to stop.

"Yeah hello? Ladies? Ladies?!"

Lucian sighed and held a mock conversation with himself:
'Oh hello Lucian'
'Hello'
'How are you today?'

Before he decided to speak up: "Yeah, hello guys, nymph, vampire whatever you label yourselves as, hello, I'm Lucian, and now we begin the council of disfuncional magical creatures."

Charmin giggled at Lolly, a playful growl escaping her throat as she darted for the stone the blonde was behind and peered around it at her. “I think the name Lolly is interesting, for it is a play on words. Like my own, hmm?” Charmin pushed herself up into a handstand and flipped over forwards so that she were closer to Lolly. Charmin had felt herself become more relaxed around other creatures, for she did not need to hold up a human façade. She was beginning to tire of the humans and their disagreements and such.

Charmin looked back as the incubus interrupted them, and she sighed in annoyance. She was hoping to strike up a conversation with the Dryard, but alas he was still there. Her eyes widened and she lifted and eyebrow in curiosity as he began to talk to himself. With a rather nervous laugh, Charmin took another step towards Lolly.

She laughed her normal, slightly insane laugh and clapped her hands together, climbing up onto one of the stones and making herself comfortable. She swung her legs and examined Lucian from head to toe. “Pretty thing, aren’t you?” She cooed in a patronising sort of tone. “Im sure all the little girlies swoon for the sweet little incubus.” She continued in her childish tone.

Lucian raised an eyebrow and looked at the vampire in front of him, if he was in any fit state he would probably tackle her to the ground and stake her repeatedly with a stone. But since as though he wasn't he stayed still.

Learning to deal with patronising people Lucian just smirked lightly and nodded his head:

"Actually, yes, yes they do. And if you have any sort of respect for the heirarchy of creatures, you'll watch how you speak to me. Vampire." he said, quietly.

Turning his attention to the nymph instead he walked behind the stone and smiled lightly at her, maybe she would be nicer to talk to than the vampire.

"Well hello, how you doin'?" he asked with a jokey smirk "Lolly is it?"

Lolly jumped and giggled when Charmin appeared around the stone. She nodded in agreement to Charmin's observation. Lolly watched in awe as the vampire nimbly leapt on top of the tall stone. She concluded that creatures felt better around other creatures. It was a lot more natural.

She jumped again when Lucian popped around the other side of the stone. Lolly blinked and involuntarily blushed, fluttering her eyelashes. "Yes, that's right," she said, feeling somewhat flirtatious for once. Lolly wasn't sure whether or not it was because of the vibes she was receiving from Charmin or what, but it was certainly starting to infiltrate her veins. She smiled at the incubus, tauntingly spinning around and darting away behind another stone, giggling.

Lucian smirked slightly when the nymph giggled at him, it was nice to know that he wasn't a complete failure when in this form, it was something that made him more confident that he was going to be able to do just fine while his seal was broken.

"Well it's a pleasure to meet you, Lolly, I haven't seen you around here before, I'm pretty sure I would remember as beautiful face as yours if I had seen it before."

Winking Lucian decided that he best lay off, especially when he thought about Violeta, he wouldn't want to upset her, but as Lolly dashed off behind another stone he pouted:

"Why do you run away? Do I have bad breath? Or do you want to play tag with me?" he asked, jokingly.

Lolly winked playfully at Lucian when he complimented her. "Of course you haven't seen me; I'm new around these parts," she explained light-heartedly.

Stepping around the stone and dashing behind another and into the centre of the stones, she laughed openly. "Tag! Yes, perfect! You're it!"

Lucian grinned slightly when she said that she wanted to play tag and although he hadn't played it in decades he thought that there was no time like the present to start up again, and so he looked for the Nymph amongst the stones, found her anf began to chase after her.

"Very well then, but you best be pretty fast to keep away from me!" he chuckled "And if you're playing Charmin you best not use any vampire tricks that counts as cheating."

Laughing quietly Lucian followed Lolly into the center of the stones and tried to grab her in order to tag her.

Lolly darted out of the way, giggling. She was still in reach, but dodged every move he made towards her. She ran towards some of the trees nearby, and quickly scaled the branches so that she was hanging just over Lucian's head, but just out of arm's reach. Lying down on the thick arm, she grinned mockingly at him.

"Catch me if you can!"

Lucian grinned, glad of a challenge and something to actually do, which was what he had been looking for when he headed out today, but he didn't think that he would be running around trying to play tag with a Nymph with a vampire watching in the distance somewhere.

"Oh darn! My one weakness, trees."

Joking, he stuck his tongue out and he too began to scale the branches of the tree, swiping his hand out to try and touch her arm, so that he could get down from here, climbing onto the same branch that she was on Lucian chuckled evilly and lunged forwards:

"Gotcha!"

As their game of tag made it's way into the nearby forest, Ashby, who'd heard such commotion near the Silent Stones of all places!, was trotting just a bit aways from the tree they were currently hanging in, trying to find the source of the noise. He unstrapped a pouch from his waist, bringing it to his lips and taking a drink as he scratched behind his neck. He closed and reslung it around himself, circling in the area, not thinking to look above him.

Charmin watched Lucian and Lolly play chasie, and she was about to join in the fun and use her vampire skills to help her win with relative ease when Lucian mentioned that using her vampire-ness was cheating.

With a pout, Charmin huffed and crossed her arms with a frown. "Take all the fun out of it then!" She proclaimed, but slid off her stone anyway and leant against it casually. "Catch me if you can." She said, much like Lolly but in a more dangerous tone, like something you’d hear in a horror movie.

As Lucian scrambled up the tree and made his move to lunge forwards, Charmin remembered that she didn't follow the rules, and with a playful growl she pushed herself forwards at a quick speed and lunged up for the branch, flipping herself up onto it just as Lucian pounced. She had meant to pull Lolly off, but it didn't work that way for her speed wasn't as fast as she remembered it and she toppled backwards as Lucian's lunge meant for Lolly collided with her. As she slid backwards, her legs hooked around the branch.

Lucian saw that there seemed to be some sort of half man, half goat, creature walking around under the tree and for the life of him he couldn't remember the proper name, and then, with a small 'Ahhhh' he remembered. A satyr.

"Yo...yo. We're up here you know, yeah, hellooooo?" he said, trying to get the attention of the satyr below them.

Totally unexpected, Lucian saw Charmin jump up onto the branch just as he was lunging to tag Lolly, obviously she had wanted to move Lolly out of the way but it hadn't worked, so he slammed into her and began to tumble to the ground.

Hitting it with an oof, Lucian swiftly tagged Charmin then jumped up and ran full pelt away:

"Charmin's it! Watch out she cheats!" he pulled his tongue out at this last comment.

Charmin had focused too much on making sure that her legs hooked around the branch and held her to grab onto Lucian as he fell. She reached out for him, her fingertips brushing his own as he fell past her and landed on the ground with an exclamation of 'Oof!'

Charmin laughed heartily and flipped off after he tagged her, sticking her tongue out in turn at him. She couldn't remember having this much fun in.... well, she didn't care to acknowledge how many decades, though she suspected that perhaps it was back when she was human.

A century and 3 decades.

With a playful growl, she crouched down low and pushed her way across the ground in a very cheetah like manor, laughing as she did so. She went to make a sharp turn, and so she flipped her head the other way and crashed into the satyr with a loud sound, flipping before landing on her back and snarling.

Lolly was doubled over in peals of laughter as she watched the game get heated. She was barely clinging to the branch, which was shaking with her racking laughter. Leaves fell down everywhere and she just could not help her self. It got to the point where she was laughing so hard that she was laughing silently. Tears streamed down her face.

How long had it been since she'd laughed like this? At least eight months, that was for sure. At the last party she had with her family and tribe.

Lolly kept laughing and laughing until her sides hurt and she was loosing her grip on the tree. Eventually she did properly loose her grip on the tree, and fell tumbling to the ground. When she smacked into the earth, she laughed more. "Owww!" she gasped, rolling over onto her back and wiping the tears out of eyes.

Lucian saw that Charmin was not coming after him and slowed down a little bit, but kept his distance just in case she tried to change course and go after him, seeing that the satyr seemed to have been tagged, and although not knowing if he was playing or not, Lucian shrugged and made him the new person to avoid.

Hearing something fall, he turned and saw that Lolly was now sprawled on the floor, holding back a small laugh, Lucian jogged over to her and held his hands up:

"I'm not tagged, I just want to see if you're okay." looking at her with a sly grin he added "Are they happy or pain tears, because I don't want to have to beat up the tree for hurting you."

She eyed Lucian's hands suspiciously. He didn't seem to be lying, and she'd lost track of the game... grasping his hands, she pulled herself up, still trying to breathe through the tears streaming down her face. "I - can't - stop - laughing!" she gasped out.

Then Lolly stared at him, suddenly serious. "You touch one leaf on that tree and I'll shred you into pieces!" She was joking, of course, but she didn't want the tree to get beaten up!

Lucian was glad that Lolly wasn't upset about something, or hurt, and the tears of laughter was something that he hadn't really had much experiance with, his sister never being overly happy.

"Okay then, what's so funny?" he grinned, chuckling himself a little because of her laughter.

Blinking a little Lucian stepped away from the tree and held his hands up in an 'I Surrender' gesture, smirking a little bit:

"I wouldn't actually beat up the tree you know, that would be silly and it would hurt me more than it would hurt the tree."
