Lesson Two- Second Years Empty Lesson Two- Second Years

Post by Raven 'The Sweeney' Drake Tue Feb 28, 2012 2:17 am

Raven was waiting at the front of the classroom with her hands firmly planted on her desk, her head looking at something upon it with a frown that creased her whole face, it was something that had been troubling her for a while now, a pocket watch with a miniature in it.

The watch of course itself was smashed but the miniature portrait was not, and who it was of was making her nervous for she didn't know who it was, but she did know who it looked like, and that was not a good thing at all.

Written on the board was;

'Homework pictures best be ready'

With scribbled lines underneath the statement to emphasise it, otherwise there would be trouble in the form of her new detention cupboard.

Lesson Two- Second Years Empty Re: Lesson Two- Second Years

Post by Keaira Drake Tue Feb 28, 2012 4:36 am

Keaira walked into the classroom, feeling slightly curious as to what she would find out about the Sweeney today. She walked up to the front and sat down. She had been talking to Terry and he had told her what the homework had been, so she had her picture ready and done. She felt she hadn't quite succeeded, that it could've been better, but all in all, she was pretty pleased with it.

She looked up at the Sweeney, but didn't say anything to her. She merely fished out her books and started reading as far as she had gotten. She liked potions, it was fascinating, so she had started reading the book on a whim.

Aquila entered the class on time this time, not wanting to loose more points. It annoyed her greatly how behind Risiko was, -15 points! It set her teeth on edge and made her want to hit somebody, although that was also because of pent up fear and frustration directed at Felix Engell. Just the thought of him made her want to dent the wall she was standing next too, but after taking a calming breath she entered her class and allowed herself a brief smile as she moved over to a girl she knew to be called 'Keaira'.

With the smallest of smiles she took a seat next to Kearia without asking and spread her gear over the desk. She pulled out her homework pictures and was pleased with the results - however many times it had taken her to get it right. She hadn't wanted to hand up failed homework to their frightening teacher who she, in a weird way, greatly respected. Even if she was a litte mad.

Lesson Two- Second Years Empty Re: Lesson Two- Second Years

Missy walked into potions class and she was glad that she got notes from Terry earlier when she went to the 2nd year level.

Walking in she saw Keairs sitting there next to Aquilla so Missy sat behind them in class. She went through her bag and got all of her things around. She went looking through photos that she had and notice that she had a couple with her sister so she decided to use that one.

She brewed the potion with her roommate and it took a couple different tries but she had finally got the picture to work.

She placed the photo on her desk and waited for the sweeney to continue.

Terry walked in to potions ready with his picture that he had spent the night working on to get it right. He had spent time in library too getting it done. After about 5 tries in his dorm room he had finally got the picture to do what it was suppose to.

Walking into class he noticed that Aquilla was already seated next to Keaira so he could not sit there, so he decided to sit next to Melissa and talk to her. He was wondering where she had gone the other day from the library and she hadn't told him.

Pulling out all of his materials to get ready for the class. He made sure to have the picture he had done, it was with a friend of his from muggle school. The potion had made it turn out pretty cool.

Raven was surprised to see that there was the first years from her last lesson in this one, and wondered if they had gotten lost, then decided that she didn't really care Raven moved forwards and sat on the desks in front of the students like she normally did.

Looking over the homework, Raven smiled lightly, an odd sight, before letting it grow more twisted in it's nature and chuckling lightly at the way one of the people looked in one of them. "Well done for getting your homework in, 10 points to everyone, I ran out of bones to give you guys...sorry, I'll get some in for next lesson."

"Welcome back class." she said cooly "Today we are going to be learning how to make a Babbling Beverage. Does anyone know what this potion does, and it's blatently obvious so I'll answer for you! It makes the drinker talk nonsense."

Passing around a piece of parchment to every student Raven grinned; "Write a name of a fellow student in this class you would like to taste the potion when you're done, if there's a tie...I'll choose for you."

Standing up on the desks, Raven began to pace; "Now! An ingredient, tell me."

(OOC: There are no Canon ingredients so just offer one up Smile)

Terry like the idea of writing a name on the paper he was so sure that he was going to write down Melissa's name. He was very mad at her for what she did to Myles, she practically broke that boys heart. So when the paper came around to him he wrote.

Terry scribbled "Melissa Daufner" on the paper then passed it down to the next student.

He noticed that the teacher was still looking for an answer so he raised his hand.

"Would there be belladonna?"

Melissa had looked up in the book to try and answer the Lehrer questions.

Missy raised her hand "asphodel" Missy stated

When Melissa recieved the paper to choose a name she noticed that her name was on it, she had a feeling that Terry put it on it so Missy grabbed the paper.

"Terry" was the name that Missy wrote on the parchment.

Keaira really couldn't careless who had to chat openly, but she sighed and simply wrote Melissa. The girl already talked a lot. Not that Keaira minded. That meant she wouldn't have to talk as much.

Raven nodded her head at Terrence, one of the only students that seemed to be alive during her lessons to speak up. Rolling her eyes when she looked at the time, Raven threw a razor onto the desk and sighed angrily, it was frustrating that time had slipped away again.

"Correct, 10 points to Geschick. Now, the babbling beverage has some side effects and dangers when brewing that need to be taken into account before we make it, these are to be researched thoroughly before next lesson and a side of parchment written on them."

Opening the door with a bang, Raven stood by the open door and grinned manically as she looked at the parchment with a smirk.

"Melissa, you lucky girl will be getting to taste the class efforts next lesson."
