Richard wandered down the streets of the busiest shopping area in magical Germany, without a care in the world. He hadn't been stopped by anyone despite the fact that he wasn't even wearing a hood. Apparently you were considered German if you could speak the language. God, the fools got more and more arrogant with every breath they took.

Standing in front of a busy shop, Richard looked around, honestly looking forward to what would happen if he was recognised. After waiting for ten minutes no one recognised him and Richard put his head in his hands. There were wanted posters of him on the walls for god's sake!

"Ugh... maybe setting fire to something will cheer me up...?" he muttered to himself as he stepped into the doorway of the busy shop and pointed his wand forwards, "Fiendfyre."

The cursed fire lept from his wand tip, burning through people and structure alike on it's way. Taking a step back, Richard closed the door and then waved his wand a few more times. All of the doors and the windows changed to titanium, a nigh unbreakable metal. The screams continued as those inside died horribly. Richard turned to the next shop and blew it apart with a blasting curse, ready to cause as much mayhem as possible.

Aquila hummed to herself as her mother dragged her from store to store, buying various objects for both school and herself. She was dragged into the book store once more, and her mother let out an excited squeal as she tugged Aquila over to a section and pulled out a horribly pink and purple book. Aquila's nose wrinkled in disgust as her mother displayed it to her. 'Love: The Greatest Magic' was the title, and Aquila didn't care who the author was.

"Would you like this, hunny bunny? Look, its all about love and that, its a fiction novel, you like fiction yes?" Her mother's eyes were alight with joy, and Aquila rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"No, im not getting that mum! Can't you just leave me alone for once, it's not as if someone's going to blow up the building while im in it or something." She rolled her eyes as her mother sighed and finally let her wander off on her own. Aquila was missing Lucian and wondered if he'd be around anywhere.

Aquila's eyes were drawn to a random man standing there for quite a while, and his face was familiar, as if she'd seen it before. Shrugging it off, she entered a random store, browsing the items there when there was suddenly a large burst of fire out on the streets and she heard the tortured screams of people in the shop next door. The next moment, the store she was within blasted and rubble, bricks, books, quills, parchment and all of that collapsed in on her. She crouched down and coughed as the rubble fell on her, causing her lungs to clog and her chest to constrict painfully as she breathed in the debris and was covered in bricks and such. Her head throbbed painfully as she heard a little girl crying, and she tilted her head to see the small girl crushed by bricks and covered in blood.

Lucian was walking through the Golden Street, he had just come from the rather 'dodgy' alley that connected to it and he wondered if anyone would ahve spotted him making the transition, not like they would regonise him now that he had morphed back to his student form.

Sighing he suddenly heard a loud bang and wondered what the heck it could be, and running across a few more streets he found what he thought was an attack on a shop, gripping his wand, and already feeling his tattoo flaring, Lucian ran closer, hearing various cries of pain.

When he saw there was a young girl getting crushed by some rubble he swore loudly and began to try and move it, but it was too late and he screwed up his eyes, not even wanting to look at the poor girl, yet he closed her eyelids and looked around for more people who needed his help.

Then he spotted her...

"Aquila!" he yelled, seeing her so beat up like she was, he wondered if she ahd gotten caught in the blast, and he knelt down next to her, wiping some dust out of her face "Are you alright Aquila? Hold on one moment, who did this?"

Richard frowned as he shot another curse at the german auror who had turned up, turning the man's blood to acid to make the man dissolve on the spot, screaming in agony. Contray to popular belief, Richard did not enjoy killing anyone. He just happened to be very good at killing. True, there was a very fine line. When you were good at something it was very had not to enjoy it but Richard could safely say that he was still repulsed by it.

Looking over at the rubble of a building he'd demolished, or at least caused damage to, Richard saw a teenager boy talking to a trapped teenage girl. Scowling a little bit, at the consequences of his own actions, he pointed his wand at the rubble,

"Wingardium leviosa." he declared, levitating the rubble off of the teenager girl before flinging it in the direction of more advancing adults. Their wands had been drawn and pointed at him so he saw the adults as a threat. Rubble, of all shapes and sizes, collided with their heads. He frowned a little bit, "You two, get out of here. I don't kill children."

Yeva who had joyously run into the youngest of her four brothers, Ilari's awaiting arms upon seeing him. He spun her around once, and then once more for good measure. After she had been released she embraced the others including her sister in law Olga who was the size of a beach ball and had never looked more beautiful. Afterwards she introduced her friends to them before they departed for Goldenen Straße. It was there that Yeva turned into the squealing lace loving girl she had never before been as they looked at enchanted baby clothes that never stained and repelled dirt. "We don't even know if it's a girl yet Yevinka!" Olga cooed stroking the girl's face gently as the boys tried to sneak away. With a snap however Olga had her husband Sergei grasping for her apron strings, so to speak. His brothers were quick to mock but quieted down when he glared at them.

The rest of the day was spent blissfully bouncing from shop to shop as she enjoyed the company of her friends and family. All this was about to change however, as the group eased their way down an isle of second hand items with enchantment to various to be named a thunderous boom could be heard from very nearby. Her heart racing Yeva pressed herself tight against Dmitry and Fedir her nearest brothers. Fedir who had little to no interest in the shop of 'unwanted' and 'deplorable' things shoved her deeper in the isle as he walked up to investigate. "остаться здесь!" 'Stay here!' Dmitry commanded, pushing her into a crouched position as screams of agony filled the air and then ran to the front of the shop.

"Божией Матери!" 'Mother of God!' Fedir cried out as Yeva turned a frightened glace towards her friends.

"Это что ублюдок Ромен!" 'It's that bastard Romain!' Dmitry bellowed. None of this soon mattered for a woman had begun to scream at the back of the store. Looking heart in her throat Yeva saw that an angry red hell fire had begun to consume the entire back half. She only had a moment to panic before Sergei and Ilari began to shout for the girls to run as they, shoving urged them forward.

Caught up in the throng of the fleeing crowd Yeva was quickly separated from the others a they spilled out of the door way in every direction, like a river into the sea. Yeva stood teary eyed and dizzy for a moment, looking for someone, anyone she knew. Her eyes at last came to rest on a man who seemed reassuringly calm. Unsure of what to do the eleven year old heart full of fright ran for him stumbling slightly as another frantic being bumped her on her bad side.

(My brothers and Olga are free to use, just please don't get them maimed too badly, a little's fine though. If you want them to die Crying or Very sad

please owl me. Also Fedir is most likely to run, Demtry to fight, Sergei to protect, and Ilari to try to find anyone who gets separated. Olga is understandably out to protect her unborn baby and the girls.)

Agne was having a splendid time with her friends, and she blushingly had to admit that Yeva's dark eyed older brother Fedir was very handsome! At the robes shop she had fun modeling her favorites, it was her favorite of all the stores they had been to for the day. Lazily walking around the second hand items shop she rolled a lovely bracelet around on her wrist admiring the way it flashed when it caught the light. There was suddenly a boom that rocked her to the ground. "What was that? What's happening?" she had screamed loudly before she even knew her mouth was open. She looked around and exchanged fearful looks with Yeva for a moment. The two older boys who had been in the isle with them could be heard in their native Russian at the head of the store.

A woman screamed for behind Agne and then all was chaos! Without thinking Agne grabbed the wrist of the person beside her as they ran tears streaming down her face. Friend or stranger at this point Agne didn't care she just needed to hold onto to someone as flames licked at her from above, the wooden ceiling catching quickly as her feet pounded over the stone floor. Once outside Agne and the person she held onto were swept right with the flow of the crowd. Unable to contain her fear much longer Agne screamed loud and long her voice crashing against those of the many confused people around her.

Alex was walking with Yeva and her family Alex was still a bit mad Annika was there but Alex pushed that to the back of her head and continued to walk she hated baby shopping now she understood why her brothers also hated it, it was so boring Alex could barely keep her eye's open. As soon as they left Alex smiled and continued to walk when they heard a boom.

Alex didn't know what was going on when she saw Yeva's brothers rushing toward it Alex followed Yeva and she tripped on a lose stone she looked up everyone was gone she saw people rushing everywhere a couple of people even knocked her over she had dust and dirt all over her face she quickly started to run but she didn't see anyone she recognized.

" Agne! Yeva! Anyone!" She yelled and continued to run she had no idea where everyone was gone she didn't know where to run she continued to run not knowing where she was going but she didn't care where she was going as long as she saw someone she knew.

Annika had walked a little bit away from the group while in the second had store. Her mind on her new brother and sister. She new papa love his daughters and never complained about the lack of a male to carry one the family name. But at the same time she just knew that he was over the moon about finally having a son. Josef--that had been grossvater's name and she knew that he was named after the hero who had died as he stood up to He Who Must Not Be Named during the war. Bertha she didn't recognize but loved the name anyway, shortening it to Berti in her mind. As she was looking at a couple of baby sized robes and a blanket the store erupted in flames, the floor shaking like an earth quake. Looking around she saw Yeva and her family trying to get to the front of the store. Dropping everything she struggled to make her way to where they were. Where were Alexandra and Agne? She stopped and looked around trying to find her friends. Just then an older woman with a baby knocked her to the floor and she hit her head, everything went dark, then nothing....

Alex continued to run until she found an dark alley it was empty Alex out of breath and bleeding slid down the wall tired and hurting she hoped everyone was okay she started to shake she was so scared and nervous when she tried to stand up she felt a slight pain in her ankle it was probably twisted, gasping she tried to stand up but quickly fell back down she stared at the other wall hoping someone would find her. When all of a sudden a hand covered her mouth she tried to scream but couldn't.

" Shh it's just me" A male voice said she glanced over and saw it was Yeva's youngest brother, Ilari. Sighing Ilari moved his hand from her mouth she looked at him he had dust and dirt on him but other than that he was unharmed she sighed.

" Can you stand?" He asked Alex shrugged and tried to stand up but her ankle started shaking and she quickly fell back down Ilari grabbed her arm before she fell down. He grabbed her arm and put it around his shoulders " Now let's go find everyone else" Ilari said not unkindly Alex nodded and they walked out of the alley and onto the streets that seemed a little calmer.

Yeva tripped and fell, the street cutting deeply into her knees and face. Sobbing with fright Yeva lay there for a few moments as the calm man with dark brown hair spoke to someone in words that were quickly eaten up by the panic in and about her, she however caught the word 'children'. All she knew was as the storm raged on around her, he stood still, an island unmoved by the wind. A man carrying an injured woman nearly didn't make it as he leaped over Yeva causing her to flinch. Quickly scurrying to her feet, knees and chin bloody Yeva ran to him heart thundering deafeningly in her ears. Reaching his side she tried to slow to a halt her hand instinctively flying to his because he was an adult and adults were the ones who made everything better.

Lucian cursed slightly and as he looked around it could be said that hald the students in Durmstrang were here today and he knew that it was probably going to be hell getting them all out safely, although he didn't really have much rights to care about them all besides Aquila, he supposed he should try and help them too.

When the man levitated the rubble off of Aquila, Lucian gently moved to prop her up against the wall, hoping that she would comply and stay there until he was done. With a small smirk he felt the pleasant burn of his tattoo and he knew that his sister would come if she was free, then it would be two against one.

"I'm not a child, I'm older than you, and you should know better than to attack someone like me, given the state of things and the fact you want us on your side." he smirked, drawing out his wand.

Aging to his twenty year old self, Lucian rolled his neck and pointed the wand at the attacker; "So come on, give it to me I'm sure I can handle it. Everte statum!"

Great, Richard thought, I've created pure bloody chaos and no one has yet had the guts to try and stop me.

When Lucian shot a spell at him, Richard gritted his teeth and waved his wand, causing a metal shield to form and take the hit before disappearing. He frowned a little bit,

"Oh joy..." he muttered, "I finally get someone willing to fight back and it's a teenager who can make himself older..."

He tilted his head to the side before frowning a little bit. The boy was a creature of some kind. And it seemed his little talks were getting around. He pointed his wand at the boy-turned-man,

"You should just give up. Older than me or not, you will die if you fight me." he shrugged, "And I'd rather not kill you. Repulso!"

Yeva had no time to fully understand the stupidity of her choice as the two men began to fight, taking a few steps back she tripped over a body. Landing hard on her rear she watched in horror as the two men hurled spells at one another.

Raziel could tell that something was wrong and she thought that Lucian would have just gotten himself into one of his stupid fights again, but being the stronger of the two of them Raziel decided that because of some rumours that she had heard that she would go and check what was going on, hopefully it was nothing that would take up too much time or effort on her behalf.

Instantly, tapping into the linking tattoo, Raziel felt her own one around her thigh burning as she appeared in the street and she blinked for a few minutes before looking at the man attacking her brother, she knew this man, he was Briony's husband and she growled slightly.

Drawing out her wand she smashed the spell aside from her brother, and although in her usual pencil skirt business suit, Raziel was ready to fight to protect her brother.

"What the hell do you think you're doing? Are you some sort of idiot attempting to fight my brother? I have NO idea what Briony's see's in you, honestly, your hair is so out of style, your physique is terrible, and your accent, please. German?" rolling her eyes Raziel trained her wand on Richard "Plosori!" she growled out, it was an old spell, mostly forgotten, and it had the effect of blowing up anything it touched.

When Raziel appeared, whom he was only vaguely aware of, Richard blinked a few times. Last time he checked, not two seconds ago, Lucian was the one who had attacked him. Sure, a banishing charm in return was an attack but it wouldn't really have caused any harm,

"Hello to you too Raziel." he greeted her with a raised eyebrow, "Technically he attacked me. My hair is perfectly fine thank you very much. Briony sees... well I'm not sure but whatever she sees in me she likes. I'm getting back into shape, not that I fell out of it by much. Miss anything? Oh and I was raised with the accent so it stays. Sticks and stones Raziel."

Richard rolled out of the way of the spell because he didn't know what it did and was right when it exploded. He rolled his neck,

"Sticks and stones..." he began, levitating large chunks of stone and wooden beams from the ruins of the building behind him, "May break your bones so you'd best go hiding."

Aquila's head jerked upwards once more, yet she couldn't make out who it was that had called to her. The voice became muffled and she felt her head droop back down once more. She hoped whoever it was wasn't here to hurt her, and she could feel tears pouring out of her eyes as her head throbbed painfully. She felt a weight lifted off her and gasped for breath as she reached both hands to her stomach and wrapped them around her waist as she bit her lip to hold in agonised noises.

It seemed as if suddenly everything snapped back into normality and she was surprised to see Lucian before her, and greatly relieved. She reached out and grabbed his hand, her other one wiping the tears off her cheek and coming up with blood. Aquila frowned, she hated blood.

Before she could even greet him softly, he'd moved her so she was against the wall and she was too tired to protest at being placed there like a pathetic child.

"Lucian," she mumbled. "What are you-"

Her voice stopped abruptly as he turned to face the attacker, and she tilted her head at his words. Her eyes widened in shock as he very suddenly aged into a much older man who looked around the age of 20. Her mouth fell open and she didn't notice anything after that, surprised beyond belief.

"I just wanted to go shopping," she grumbled to herself as fear gripped her stomach once more when she zoned back in on the fight.

Slowly Annika began to come to and opened her eyes on the chaos around her. It seemed the whole world had gone crazy, people were screaming, kids crying, and everywhere things were exploding. As she got to her feet she looked around and tried to find her friends. But they were no where to be seen. Her heart sank as she thought the worst possible thoughts, and she started to softly cry as she walked toward what she thought was the door.

She had only gone a couple of steps when she again became very dizzy and nausea hit her full force. Bending over she lost what little lunch she had eaten and nearly passed out again. Suddenly someone grabbed her by the hand and steadied her. Annika looked up and into the eyes of Yeva's brother. What was his name she just looked trying to remember who he was and just what happened. Embarrassed by the condition he found her in she quickly lowered her head and whispered, "I'm sorry for the mess. Thank-you. Where are the others?"

"We have no time to talk right now. We have to get out of here, the fire is spreading and the roof isn't too steady. Komm mit mir, we'll find them." Putting his arm around Annika's waist and placing her head so it rested on his shoulder he quickly, but gently guided her to the door and into the street where Alex and the others were.

But WHERE was Yeva?? No sign of her was to be seen. What had happened to her first friend? Was she okay??

Raziel raised an eyebrow and she watched as Richard ducked out of the way of her spell, narrowing her eyes, she turned to Lucian and gae him a look as if to say that he should get everyone out of there, because things were about to get ugly.

Clicking her neck slightly Raziel was glad that she had managed to harvest this much energy before coming here, it was going to come in handy, and she knew she wouldn't die here today.

"Oooh, terribly droll. What a good magic trick." she said sarcastically however she stayed standing where she was, a glint in her eye, and she had the ace card, her mother could always be summoned if needed, but she didn't think that would be the case.

"Come on then. Hit me. That's what you want isn't it?" she asked raising her eyebrow and taunting the man in front of her, all the while building up her energy reserves.

A sudden noise off in the distance caused Annika and her handsome escort to turn and strain to see what was happening. They saw Yeva with some men who were fighting, the sparks flying from their wands. As they watched a lovely young woman came into the conflict and began to taunt the older man. Yeva looked scared and unsure as they fought not realizing in their anger that she was there.

"Please, go get Yeva. I will be okay and I'll stay here with the rest of the family. Please, hurry, hurry!!!"

The older two brothers took off at a sprint and headed toward the worst of the devastation striving to reach their little sister before anything could happen to her. Watching them Annika slowly slid to the concrete and put her head on her knees and began to cry. Would she ever get to see her new brother and sister? The fear over came her and her shoulders shook with loud sobs.

Alex sat down on the sidewalk with her twisted ankle slightly swollen she looked around people were still screaming and crying and some were trying to help the wounded.

Alex looked around for someone she knew when she saw Annika on the sidewalk crying, Alex stood up and walked up to Annika and she sat down next to her she gave Annika a smile and looked at her " What's wrong?" Alex asked kindly.

Looking up, embarrassed by her tears, Annika wiped the tears from her eyes. "I'm so glad you got out of there. I've been so scared. I hit my head and if it wasn't for Yeva's brother I'd have never gotten out. They went to get her, she's over there where the fighting is going on. What's happening? I thought the war was far away. do you think we'll be okay and get to go home? I don't want to stay here with all this."

Blushing and afraid she sounded like an idiot child, she ducked her head again and reached out to take Alex's hand. Then thinking it would seem weird, she pulled it back again and tried to laugh.

Looking up she saw that the younger boy was still there and was giggling to himself as she talked.

Alex smiled at Annika " Yes, we'll be able to go home and I don't know what's happening to be honest" Alex said shrugging she noticed Annika went to grab Alex's hand, Alex smiled.

" Well are you hurt besides your head, I twisted my ankle" Alex said trying to move her ankle which failed miserably she sighed and looked at Annika.

" Well why don't we just stay close to each other and wait for the others?" Alex suggested smiling at Annika.

"I think I'll be okay, but I am a little dizzy. Maybe it's just cuz I'm scared. I've never been away from home, and then all this. I hope your ankle is okay, I'm sure the hospital will be able to fix it. How did it get like this, and who is that over there fighting? I don't remember seeing them at school."

Annika was beginning to feel a little better and was grateful that Alex seemed to be over her anger. She really hoped maybe they could all be friends. It would be easier to go through the scary stuff with people you could count on. Looking around she saw that people were starting to calm down and that the fire seemed to be growing smaller.

"I just want to get back to school as soon as Yeva gets back. I didn't get Josef and Berta anything. I'm ..." and she started to cry softly as if she didn't want to admit, even to herself, that she wanted to just go home to Mama and Papa and be held and sung to.

Alex nodded " My ankles fine, I was running and someone pushed me and it must've twisted as I fell" Alex said shrugging she knew she couldn't be mad and act like a two year old she sighed.

" We'll get home soon and the people fighting is Aquila Wilson and Lucian and the other woman I don't know who she is and the man I don't know who he is either" Alex said shrugging hopefully Yeva would come back soon so they could all leave.

Lucian saw that his sister was now here and he backed off away from the fight slowly so that he could go and tend to Aquila, knowing that now that he had been seen in this form it would be very hard to try and stop himself from telling her what the real story was behind his temporary shape shifting.

Biting his lip he jogged over to her, keeping his eyes flicking around for other British threats, as he reached Aquila he scooped her up in his arms, knowing that she needed to rest in order to keep herself from having another attack and he knew that as soon as he got back to Durmstrang he would take her to the Hosptial Wing.

Turning to Raziel he smiled;

"Be safe."

Before dashing off through the streets with Aquila in tow, occassionally having to bat aside other attacks as they flew their way, but they were reasonably weak and Lucian only sustained some damages.
