Pxyis noticed that whilst she was laughing, Charlotte looked confused, but she too joined in afterward. Charlotte wondered what had made her confused, but decided to ignore it.

Charlotte's face brightened up quite considerably when Pxyis gushed about how she adored dragons, and knew all about them - well as much as an 11 year old girl could.

When Charlotte also expressed her adoration for dragons, Pxyis smiled happily, glad they had something to bond over. "You'd like to draw one? That'd be cool but im not sure if it would stay still long enough," Pxyis said thoughtfully. "I guess you could use a muggle camera and take a picture of it- muggle pictures don't move so it's easier to draw that way," Pxyis suggested, grinning.

What Charlotte whispered made Pxyis' eyes widen and a huge smile appear on her face. "The Care of Magical Creatures department? At Hogwart's? Wow. Maybe we'll be studying them in 7th year, perhaps? That'd be AWESOME!" Pxyis squealed, dancing around.

Charlotte nodded, that was indeed a problem with real life drawings, they tended not to stay still for very long, that's why she never really got the appeal of drawing animals because they would never stay put for a good sketch.

Plus the fact she just didn't really find most of them beautiful.

"I don't have a camera I'm afraid, so it often takes me a while to finish a picture as I have to keep coming back to the same place until it's done, and sometimes it takes weeks for me to 'finish' a picture to my standard..."

Smiling shyly Charlotte blushed:

"I'm a little OCD with paintings and art."

Charlotte bit her lip and she tilted her head back to look up at the sky imagining a dragon flying there, she hoped they got to study it before that though, she really did want to study them this year.

"I hope we study them as soon as possible! Maybe even this year, but I know that's not going to happen." she said sadly

"I hope we study them as soon as possible! Maybe even this year, but I know that's not going to happen." Charlotte said in a saddened tone of voice, and Pxyis' expression soured.

"Pssht, yeah right. I wish so too, but they're very advanced for little children like us," Pxyis said in a grumpy tone, before looking up at the sky too and noticing the sun was beginning to lower from its position at the top, meaning it was around 3-4 in the afternoon. "Oh no," Pxyis groaned. "I need to get out of this forest and get home, Mother's going to have a fit!" Pxyis sighed as she turned to Charlotte with a pleading expression.

"Help me escape?" She asked, smiling.

Charlotte nodded sadly, if would seem as if that was the case indeed, because they were little they were not deemed able enough to learn about interesting things instead they have to wait until their sixth or seventh year to get to the good stuff.

"Maybe we can just go and find it on our own, and study it ourselves, I was going to go anyway regardless when we study them."

When Pyxis said that she needed to get out of here Charlotte nodded her head and looked around, they were almost by the clearing and she knew the way back out from here.

"Of course, I don't want you getting into trouble. Charlotte to the rescue! Follow me!" Charlotte lead them around the outskirts of the forest and onto a small path that was littered with uneven branches.

"Maybe we can just go and find it on our own, and study it ourselves, I was going to go anyway regardless when we study them." Charotte said, and Pxyis nodded in agreement.

"Yes, i'll study them anyway. My father works for the Department of Control of Magical Creatures in the Control of Dragons section. I've seen a dragon, it was truly magnificent," Pxyis sighed wistfully, remembering the one time. It had been absolute mayhem for the ministry, but to Pxyis it was wonderful to see the magnificent beast swooping around and evading the ministry's attempts to catch it.

"Of course, I don't want you getting into trouble. Charlotte to the rescue! Follow me!" Pxyis laughed when Charlotte said that, but followed her out of the clearing and across a little path.

Charlotte was very envious of that, Pyxis had actually seen a dragon, in flight no less, but she didn't let it get to her, eventually she would be going to find it on her own anyway, hopefully she could cajole someone into coming with her however.

"Wow, that must have been something to see! Was it actually in the Ministry or did you have to go to another location to see it?"

Pausing for a moment Charlotte looked at the trees, scouring the branches for the markers that she had left for herself earlier in the day, it was something that she always did when sketching in remote locations.

With a triumphant smile Charlotte found one and pointed down a larger path, one that branched away from the exit of the forest, or the entrance.

"This way, so, where abouts do you live? Is it near here or a little way away?"

"We went to another location. I was with father, and he had to take me along but he made me stay with his assistant. It was really something," Pxyis sighed wistfully at the memory, and she would've continued to talk about it but she didn't wish to come across as a bragger, so she just shut her mouth and followed Charlotte across the path.

Charlotte appeared to be looking for something, before Pxyis noticed her triumphant smile as she pointed down a path larger than the one they were currently on. She followed Charlotte down this new path, wanting to stay longer in the Wood with Charlotte, but not wishing to be in trouble for returning home late. Her nanny would be most displeased, and when she told her parents they would be too.

Upon being asked where abouts Pxyis lived, she looked up and grinned. "I live in London," she informed Charlotte. "What about you? Where abouts do you live?" She in turn asked as she stepped over a log on the path and narrowly avoided tripping over a rock.

Charlotte smiled happily, it must have been a great memory for Pyxis to see a dragon yet Charlotte knew that her experience was yet to come and instead she focused herself on that, instead of being jealous, after all there was no point in that at all.

"I bet it was! I just hope I don't get caught when I'm off trying to find the dragon in the Hogwarts grounds."

With that Charlotte pressed on, wincing ever now and then when her foot got caught on a branch, or, when she stood on something particularily hard that went through the soles of her shoes.

Eventually she reached the exit to the forest and smiled, a little sadly, she didn't know when she would see Pyxis again but hopefully it would be soon, if not, hopefully on the train to Hogwarts, which was comforting. Charlotte hated the idea that she might never meet a friend again.

"Well, my estate is just down the road there, but I don't go there much anymore, I live in Ireland with my daddy, he has a bakery, it's great I get all the cookies I could want!"

"Oh how fun!" Pxyis exclaimed when Charlotte said her father owned a bakery, and she kicked a stone out of her way as the two of them stood at the exit to the beautiful Wood, neither wanting to leave the other behind but Pxyis felt safe in the knowledge that she would hopefully see Charlotte again soon.

"My mother and father are so boring. And they never have time for me, but that's alright, my nanny is a wonderful lady. I don't know what i'd do with out her, my life would be ever so sad and boring," Pxyis sighed.

She then turned her head slightly and let out another sigh as she smiled weakly at Charlotte. "I guess it's time for the two of us to part, I will see you at Hogwart's hopefully." Pxyis waved once at Charlotte before turning and beginning to walk away.
