Charlotte smiled lightly, in fact that was the colour of dress that she had seen for herself, normally she would try and make her own dress but she had left it a little bit too late to do that and she didn't want to pull any more all nighters to try and make it.

She would just buy one this time, on her own since Cobalt was probably busy doing something else, they hadn't had a good chat since that time in his office and she was beginning to get more jealous of this person who he was going out to see.

"I am planning on buying a dark red dress actually, I normally make my own but, I've left it too late this time." nodding her head Charlotte smiled "They only look posh with dresses that are knee high or down to the floor, not ones inbetween."

Sam nodded she had wanted to sew her own clothes but the muggles wouldn't teach her Sam smiled " I'd sew my own clothes but the muggles wouldn't teach me" Sam said with a shrug the muggles didn't want to teach her anything, Sam sighed and nodded.

" The dress I want is in between short and long, it's pretty but I don't know if it'd look good on me" Sam said with a small shrug it was a red that reached her ankles or a little longer she hummed as she thought about the dress.

" And I'm trying to figure out how to put pants on underneath the dress" Sam joked she hated wearing dress but. She would wear one if she was forced Sam hummed lightly.

Charlotte pouted a little bit, it seemed as if sam wasn't really lucky with her friends in any community, only the ones that she had made at Hogwarts and she hoped that through the years she might be able to become one of those friends, and if not, at least teach her how to make her own clothes.

"Well if you would like I could try and teach you how to make your own clothes, I don't know how well they would turn out though, it would depend on what you wanted to make." she said with a grin.

Humming a little, Charlotte had seen some designs like that but she had never paid much attention before because she never had a problem with just wearing a plain skirt; "I have seen some designs like that, I could give it a go if you were really stuck."

Sam smiled " If you could teach me that'd be great" Sam said with a smile she could picture herself sewing, she sighed inwardly.

" So how long did it take you to learn how to sew?" Sam asked her kindly than she shook her head.

" No you don't have to make it, It's in madam malkins" Sam said with a smile she hoped her and charlotte could be friends Sam smiled.

Charlotte nodded her head rapidly, she was glad that they were going to be able to spend some time doing something else together, she had been wanting to make more friends now she was at Hogwarts and this might be the chance to do it, but there was always the chance that she wouldnt want to, which had just been dispelled.

"I think that would be something I could do, it's not that hard when you get the hang of it and it's really handy when it comes to everyday things too, the amount of times I've needed to sew a button back on."

Humming a little while she thought of the answer, Charlotte smiled and she said; "It took me a few months, to do bigger things it takes longer though."

A little relieved that she wouldn't have to be working on anything now Charlotte only smiled wider; "She'll do an amazing job, I go to her for help sometimes with questions on sewing and making my own clothes."

Sam nodded she was glad that Charlotte would teach her Sam smiled, Sam needed something else to do besides studying all the time she smiled.

" I've lost so many buttons on so many pieces of clothing" Sam laughed she had shirts that had three missing buttons she smiled.

" Yes Madam Malkin is very nice" Sam said nodding her head she thought madam Malkin was very nice Sam bummed as she leaned back in her chair.

Charlotte was glad that they might be able to do this sometime in the future, and she looked outside of the window, and noted the fact that it was getting a little bit darker outside, checking her watch, she saw that it was getting close to dinner time and that she should be on her way soon.

"Well hopefully when you've learnt from me you can save lots of clothes from the bin, and you can make lots of things as presents too, like those hearts that have lavendar in them or something."

Making sure that she scooped up the left over ice cream from her bowl, Charlotte sighed and leant back in her seat, relaxing; "It's a nice relaxing thing to do too, when things get too much."

Sam nodded when she also noticed it was getting darker, Sam would probably stay at the leaky cauldron for the night, Sam smiled.

" Hopefully when we get back to Hogwarts you can teach me sometime" Sam said with a smile, than she nodded " I have a bunch of clothes that I throw away, there to small and to tight" Sam added.

" Yes, that's what my 'Mom' said when she sewed she didn't want to teach me" Sam said with a small shrug.

Charlotte smiled a little, she was a little worried about where Sam was going to stay tonight, and she wanted her to be safe, but she didn't know if it was a good idea to invite her to stay at her house, she didn;t know what Cobie would be up to when she got back.

"I'm sure that I could, but I should be getting going soon, before I do, do you have any idea where you're going to stay, or do you have any money to stay anywhere?" she asked, a little nervously, sucking on her lip peircing "I don't want to leave you all alone with nowhere to go."

Sam looked at Charlotte and she smiled and pulled out some wizard money " I'll probably stay at the leaky cauldron, my actual parents at least left me some wizarding money" Sam said with a small smile Sam put a couple of galleons on the table to pay for their ice cream.

" Hopefully, we meet at school" Sam said giving Charlotte a smile Sam yawned slightly.

Charlotte smiled lightly and was glad that there was somewhere that Sam would go for the night, she wrote down her address on a peice of paper and handed it to her with a small smile on her lips;

"Here, if you get into trouble or anything, you can come here, just use the floo at the Leaky Cauldron or something."

Seeing that Sam was paying for their ice cream, Charlotte was glad that she had already paid for her own at the till, simply because she didnt think that it would be fair to ask her to pay for it, since she needed all the money that she could get before she went to Hogwarts.

"We should do, maybe you can send me an owl or something and I'll teach you how to sew."

Smiling and giving Sam a quick hug, Charlotte walked out of the ice cream parlour and went on her way home.

Sam smiled at Charlotte, and when Charlotte gave her a piece of paper with her adress Sam smiled " Okay I will" Sam said with a nod When Charlotte gave Sam a quick hug Sam smiled and she gave Charlotte a small wave as Charlotte walked away Sam walked toward the leaky cauldron.

Sam was really glad she could talk to someone, Sam hummed and she looked at the paper Charlotte gave her and smiled.

Charlotte smiled, it seemed as if she had managed to cheer Sam up a little, and she was very glad of that fact, after all, it was something that she had headed out to do when she spotted her, she was still so very worried however about what would happen until she went back to Hogwarts, and she knew she would feel a lot better when she saw Sam at the ball.

Beginning to walk towards the nearest floo powder grate, Charlotte took some powder, threw it in the fire, and began to travel back to Cobie's bakery.
