Determined (Open)

Lia walked into the library, in search of certain books. She looked around and finally found a book on Animagi. Yes! She was excited to learn how to become an animagus. Yes, she was still quite young, but she was still determined to study as much as she could until she could finally fulfill her dream of becoming an animagus.

She plonked herself down at an empty table and began ready very carefully. She wished her brother was there to help her learn. She knew that after this book she would go to her dorm and write a letter to him saying that she has continued to study.

Charlotte was wandering through the library, wondering about what there was to check out, maybe there was a book on wizard art that she hadn't seen before, and that would just make her day, so, going down various isles, unable to find the librarian, she hoped that she wouldn't get lost while she was looking there, after all the library was so big!

Finding the right isle, A, quite easily, since it was the first one, she just had to find the right book in the isle, which was taking a lot longer than she would have thought it would have in the first place,and she looked around and spotted another girl taking out a book, she hadn't seen her before and wondered if she was new.

With a small smile Charlotte picked out a book she had already read, but loved the pictures in, and headed over to her; "Hey there, do you mind if I sit here?"

Lia was so engrossed in her book that she hadn't realised there was another girl in that isle. Hearing the girl's voice, she lifted her head. A slytherin? She can't be that bad. "Sure, I don't mind." she said, slowly moving her hand over the book cover. She didn't want the girl to know that she was studying to become an animagus.

"I'm Dahlia by the way. What's your name?" she asked.

Charlotte sat down and she made sure that her book did not go onto the side of the table that the other girl was using, she didnt want to be seen as rude after all, it was something that would make her heart hammer in her chest, she didn't like anyone to be upset with her.

Smiling nicely at the girl, now introduced as Dahlia, Charlotte held out a paint splattered hand, the paint of course was dry but Charlotte didn't even seem to notice it was there in the first place;

"I'm Charlotte Smith, it's nice to meet you Dahlia." she said with a large smile "You're a first year aren't you? I've not seen you around school before."
