Lesson One Empty Lesson One

Post by Viktoria Steinburg Tue Apr 17, 2012 2:20 am

Vikki wheeled the cart of brooms out onto the pitch, it was going to be a hopefully fun lesson today, there would be a large mix of people there and they would be able to all figure out how to fly correctly thanks to her, she had grown to love the subject that she had apparently done in the past, enough to become motivated enough to teach it. However she knew that she would rather be teaching something else.

Sighing lightly she lay down on the grass and looked up at the sky, it was still the dregs of summer, and the weather was nice and sunny, Vikki felt in the mood for a tea party and it was something that was beginning to niggle at her mind and distract her.

Alex ran to flying lessons, she wasn't late just excited about the class, she smiled and slowed down and came to a stop in front of the professor.

Alex smiled at her " Good morning, Professor" Alex said Alex couldn't wait to start flying, Alex hummed lightly and she sat down on the grass as she waited for the rest of the class to come.

"Good day Alex! I hope you had a lovely break. Now today were going to be doing some races, so, if you would choose your broom and mount it?"

Waiting for her to do so Viktoria grinned again once she had successfully done that, and then she gestured to the pitch behind her, she wanted to make sure that she was okay with flying before they got competitive.

"Kick off from the ground and hover one foot from the ground please, and, once that's done can you make your way to the top of the Quidditch Pitch gaining height to about 6 foot when you get there please."

Viktoria pointed to the left, where the top was.

"Since there's only you here today, we will be using a timer to see if you can beat your own lap score, okay?" she smiled.

Alex smiled and grabbed her broom she mounted it and she kicked off the ground she hovered one foot from the ground than she nodded and flew to where the professor pointed she stayed right there and she waited for further instructions.

Alex loved flying and she couldn't wait to try and beat her own record she hummed slightly as she waited.

Seeing that Alex had now managed to make her way over to the place where Vikki had instructed her to, she took out her timer and she smiled lightly at the girl, mounting her own broom and standing on the wood with two feet, as she flew over to her standing on the broom.

"Are you ready to begin?" she asked "One lap of the pitch then stop here, before you do your next one."

When she was told that she was in fact ready, Vikki nodded her head, and she readied the timer "One, two, three, Go!" she said, and waited to see how fast the girl would complete the lap of the Quidditch pitch.

Alex smiled as she heard go and she flew all the way to the other end of the pitch 'C'mon' Alex thought leaning on her broom, Alex blinked and she quickly turned the broom so she didn't run into the wall she could see the Professor on the other end.

Alex stopped turning her broom and before Alex knew it she was back at the professor Alex quickly stopped and waited to see what the professor said.

Vikki smiled happily and let out a cheer when Alex was halfway around the pitch and she couldn't help but feel a sense of passion that she had never felt before for flying, and she wondered where that had come from, frowning a little bit, when Alex returned to her Vikki let her smile return and she clapped the young girl;

"Well done! Well done! You managed that in 38 seconds, that's great. Have 15 housepoints for your effort, next lesson we will begin with you trying to beat your score from this lesson. You may go." she smiled.

Flying a loop de loop while still standing on her broom Vikki couldn't help but grin happily, and then land safely, making sure Alex did so also.
