Third Year - Second Lesson Empty Third Year - Second Lesson

Post by Richard Romain Mon Apr 30, 2012 10:11 pm

Richard sat down behind his desk, smiling happily to himself as he thought about how his life was going. In short it was going great. He was married to an amazing woman who loved him and they were expecting a little baby girl any day now. It was good to be him.

Of course he had to teach now but he had an idea that might be interesting for the students.

Third Year - Second Lesson Empty Re: Third Year - Second Lesson

Post by Airen Auditoren Mon Apr 30, 2012 10:38 pm

Airen walked into the classroom. Looking around, he noticed that he was the first one there. He walked up to the front and took his seat. He noticed the professor seemed to be happy today, but Airen knew it wasn't his place to ask why. He was just glad for the professor. Besides, the reasons why were obvious.

"Good morning, Professor Romain," he greeted. He took out his supplies. Ink, quill, and parchment. After he was done, he laid his head into his hand. He was still somewhat tired.

Third Year - Second Lesson Empty Re: Third Year - Second Lesson

Post by Charlotte Smith Mon Apr 30, 2012 11:43 pm

Charlotte was so excited when she had been told by Cobalt that the baby her Uncle and Aunt were having was due any day now, she had been told before but she was bouncing off the walls that she was going to have a little cute cousin soon.

Walking into the classroom she saw just how happy Uncle Richard was and she couldn't help but return the smile back to him, after all, it was obvious the reason why he was so happy, and it was the same reason that she was. Her grin only got wider when she saw that Airen was there, hurrying over to him she sat down next to him and got out her school things;

"Good morning Air, good morning Uncle Richie." she grinned.

Third Year - Second Lesson Empty Re: Third Year - Second Lesson

Post by Parker Emery Tue May 01, 2012 12:44 pm

Parker brought his hand to cover over his mouth as he yawned, making his way down the hall to class. He didn't have a great night's rest, and he didn't especially want to be there, but he couldn't afford to miss a lesson. He's missed too many others he still had to make up for...

He quietly opened the door, peeking in to see Char, Airen, and the professor. He seemed to be in a really great mood. Which was good...

Parker slipped in and took a seat near the back, setting his bag down next to him. He rested his head down, and his eyes were dropping closed a bit as he waiting for the start of class.

Third Year - Second Lesson Empty Re: Third Year - Second Lesson

Post by Tess McCartney Wed May 02, 2012 5:43 am

Tess opened the door to the class and peeked in. Well what a surprise! People were in good moods, good. It was better than last year when she felt like she was walking in a morgue full of angst. She walked over and sat down in front of Parker who looked like he was dozing off.

"Hey Sparks" She said amused. "Didn't know it was time for napping."

Third Year - Second Lesson Empty Re: Third Year - Second Lesson

Post by Haley Vilde Smith Wed May 02, 2012 9:19 am

Haley walked into the classroom, feeling a bit tired, but all in all in a very good mood. She smiled as she sat down on a spot near Parker and Tess, and gave them both a slight wave, and gave a grin to Charlotte and Airen as well as a nod to the professor. She didn't know why, but she was just pretty happy today.

Parkers eyes flit open when he heard a voice. Tess then came into focus and he leaned his head up a bit. "Oh- hey.." he smiled a little bit at her now nickname for him. It never bothered him, at least it was a better one then some of interesting things Pyx often came up with.

He sat, up and looked down at his desk, rubbing the back of his neck. "I just didn't sleep too well..." He then looked over at Haley took a seat nearby. He nodded back to her wave, slightly. He sighed, trying to hold back a yawn too. He rubbed his eyes, frowning a bit.

Third Year - Second Lesson Empty Re: Third Year - Second Lesson

Post by Richard Romain Thu May 03, 2012 3:38 am

Richard clapped his hands together happily as he moved over the blackboard. Taking the chalk he immediately wrote the incantation of the spell up on the board as he spoke it out loud for them,

"Tigeronium." he pronounced clearly before turning to his class with a grin, "That's right class, as the name suggests I'm going to be teaching you how to transfigure your desks into tiger cubs. Cute right? Well if you put more power in the spell, power none of you have right now believe me, you can do the spell and have a fully grown tiger!"

He tapped the spell on the board,

"Now you know the drill. You are all going to pronouce the spell perfectly five times before we do the wand movements." he told the class, "It's pronouced Tiger-o-knee-um."

Third Year - Second Lesson Empty Re: Third Year - Second Lesson

Post by Guest Thu May 03, 2012 3:49 am

Tabi walked into class this morning, she thought she was on time but Professor Romaine had already started the class so she sat in the back of the class and looked at the spell he was teaching.

Tigeronium was a very interesting spell and she had hoped that she could achieve it.

She worked on saying the spell 5 times.

Third Year - Second Lesson Empty Re: Third Year - Second Lesson

Post by Haley Vilde Smith Thu May 03, 2012 4:22 am

Haley felt her happy mood going even happier as she heard that they would be doing the lesson they had planned to do before the summer. She grinned and listened closely to what the professor was saying. She was going to manage a cub. She was. No matter what. And she would stop at nothing before she could do a tiger, though she was pretty sure that would take some years. But she was persistent. She wasn't a Hufflepuff for no reason.

"Tiger-o-knee-um. Tiger-o-knee-um. Tigeronium. Tigeronium. Tigeronium," she chanted, being very detailed in her pronounciation.

When she felt she had it, having practiced it a bit more than just five times to really get it to stick, she returned her attention to professor Romain.

Third Year - Second Lesson Empty Re: Third Year - Second Lesson

Post by Tess McCartney Thu May 03, 2012 4:37 am

A cub. Tess blinked a few times and realized that they would be making a cub. She hid a grin knowing that Professor Romain always seemed to get the hook on them, always being spontaneous and random. But she figured it was for a reason they were making tiger cubs.

She did as she was told, as she usually did.

"Tiger-o-knee-um" she said the first time, the word foreign on her tongue. "Tiger-o-knee-um, Tiger-o-knee-um, Tiger-o-knee-um," when she was getting used to it she pieced it together "Tigeronium"

She looked at the Professor and waited for his next order of business.

Third Year - Second Lesson Empty Re: Third Year - Second Lesson

Post by Charlotte Smith Thu May 03, 2012 9:42 pm

Charlotte had to hold back a little noise at the cuteness of their new little project. Her father had gotten her a cute little kitten but if she mastered this spell then she'd be able to turn things into her own little tiger cub! She smiled at Airen,

"A tiger cub... how cute is that?" she asked excitedly before calming herself down a little bit to practice the spell incantation, "Tiger-o-knee-um. Tiger-o-knee-um. Tiger-o-knee-um. Tiger-o-knee-um. Tiger-o-knee-um."

When she was sure that she'd gotten it down, she smiled and waited a little impatiently for the class to continue.

Third Year - Second Lesson Empty Re: Third Year - Second Lesson

Post by Airen Auditoren Mon May 07, 2012 11:46 am

Airen smiled at Charlotte's enthusiasm at the prospect of getting a tiger cub. He thought it would be nice to have the little bundle of fur as a pet, but he knew that it would grow up into a beast that would be much harder to take care of. Unless the transfiguration would remain a cub. he returned the smile Charlotte sent him.

"I bet it would be very cute," he said nodding his head excitedly. He began his practice of the pronunciation.

"Tiger-o-knee-um. Tigerokneeum. Tigeronium. Tigeronium. Tigeronium," he said confidently.
