Herbology: Second Years, Lesson 2 Empty Herbology: Second Years, Lesson 2

Post by Lily Del Sol Wed May 02, 2012 5:26 am

Oh dear, she was just feeling so guilty for not teaching anything to her second years. What kind of Professor was she. She frowned at the negative thoughts, they were wilting her mood. She sat down on her chair and looked at her list of things they needed to do. It was silly, but perhaps she needed to work on time management and stop dilly dallying. So she waited for her students to arrive.

Eva walked into herbology class with her head down. She was still so sad about Anne. She didn't blame herself but she missed her friend dearly. She sighed and looked at the professor sighing again. She was still fighting but it was getting harder. She smiled slightly at the teacher and waited for the lesson to start.

Xander walked into class. It seemed like everyone around him was either sad or depressed lately. It was hard to fight back sometimes. He didn't necessarily feel the same way, but he noticed that he was slower in his witty comebacks than usual.

Maybe I'm loosing my touch.

He tried to smile at Eva as he took his usual seat and waited for class to start.

Luke entered the classroom and was surprised at the lack of students. He sat himself beside Xander and gave him a nudge.

"Looking tired as ever I see" he said.

Eva seeing that there was only three of them moved over to the two slytherin's and sat with them. She didn't really care if they didn't like it. She smiled weakly at both of them and looked back at the front. She didn't really want to be a bother but she didn't want to be alone.

"Hey, Xander, Luke. How are you doing?" She asked them.

Lily smiled seeing that students had finally arrived. It always lightened up her mood seeing them all there. They were just so adorable! She was so excited to start the lesson. Getting up she looked at her class and clapped her hands.

"Hello students, today we will be dealing with spiky bushes!" she said giggling. "Please leave your books and follow me outside towards the gardens"

Taking out her wand she waited for the students to line up and then began to walk out.

"Can anyone tell me a stunning spell?" she asked.

Xander smiled at Eva as she moved closer to them. He had nothing against Gryffindors on a personal level. And if she wanted to be friends, he was ok with that.

Hearing the direction, he left his bag and even his robe at his seat. He figured if they were actually casting spells against something with the word "spiky" in it's name, he may want to be comfortable.

Raising his hand, he said, "My dad taught me about Stupify. Though I've only ever seen it used on people and creatures."

Their garden had a bad infestation of Gnomes a few summers back and his father had used that opportunity to teach Xander the spell, to get rid of them.
