Richard was literally buzzing with excitement even before he had had anything to drink, just as he was arriving at the Leaky Cauldron he was almost bouncing on the balls of his feet. Which was kind of strange when you looked at him and noticed that he had black rings under his eyes. You'd expect him to be crawling around on the floor from lack of sleep but he was literally full of energy as he burst into the Leaky Cauldron with a grin,

"This round is on me!" he told the bar as a whole, gaining a loud cheer as many of the bar's patrons moved to the bar to place an order while he was paying for it. He grinned, the money meant nothing to him at the moment, "In celebration... of my baby girl Raven Romain! Such a beautiful baby there has never been..."

He grinned happily as he lent against the bar, shaking hands as some people came up to congratulate him on his good news. Chuckling a little bit, Richard sipped at a glass of water. He didn't want to get drunk, not yet, he just wanted to share the happiness right now. No he didn't want to be drunk because at the moment Briony and Raven were both asleep. He'd placed charms that would tell him when one of them woke up, letting him get to them as soon as possible.
