Lesson One

[Briony Romain]

Briony wandered into her classroom and she sat down at her desk which she had barely used, she was mostly in the Headmistress' office and she had rarely been in here, only to set up the room with the weapons lining each wall, muggle and magical.

Sitting down at her desk she sighed softly and she leant her head back, rolling her neck to loosen it up, summoning a cup of cocoa she tipped some tia maria into it and sipped it.

"Let the games begin."

Briony muttered as she waited for her class to show up.

Airen walked into the classroom. He was excited to learn how to duel. He saw the weapons lining the walls. The muggle weapons were the most inventive, and the magical weapons he'd never seen before. He looked at all the bladed weapons, he instantly thought of one that could go up there if it weren't for it being unique to his order.

He sat down at the front of the classroom. He got out his supplies.

"Good morning, Professor," he greeted. He knew that anyone would hear his accent, so he didn't bother trying to hide it.

Briony smiled, there appeared that there was only one student in her class so it would be more like an apprentice master situation than a classroom one, and she hoped that they didn't mind too much about it.

"Hello there."

Gasting a glance around the room she shrugged her shoulders.

"Guess it's just you and me."

With a small sigh Briony sat down quietly on her desk again and felt a little tinge of sadness, she didn't want to just have one student, but at least this student was going to be dedicated.

"Mind telling me a bit about yourself and your duelling experiance?"

Briony sighed and she pinched the bridge of her nose in annoyance. There seemed to be no sense of urgency with these children, the country was at crisis and they didn't even take duelling?! What would happen if they were attacked? They'd die that's what would happen.

"Well I guess you had better go Airen. I shall see you next lesson."

With that Briony dismissed the one student in her class, giving him a list of duelling weapons to learn for the next time they met.
