She looked at the two Flutterby bushes and smiled at herself. Oh they were so cute! She couldn't wait for her student to arrive so she could teach her the joys of the Flutterby bush.

Carly waas happy to go to herbology, she wondered what she would be learning today.

Stepping into the classroom she said hello to her professor and saw the gorgeus plants next to her, she grinned.

Lily smiled seeing her only student, she honestly wished she managed to get more first years, but a bright one was better than a dozen dim ones she figured.

"Welcome! Today we will concentrating on pruning, can you Miss Grass tell me why we would prune a flutterby bush?"

Carly smiled, she wasnt sure but she thought she had the right answer, "You prune the bush to get rid of any dead parts of the plant, this then allows the plant to support the othr parts of it more easily, and so the plant will be able to grow better"
