Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Lesson One - Fourth Years

Post by Doctor Florence Nettle Tue Jun 12, 2012 5:36 am

The Doctor's summer was less than ideal if he was honest with himself. He had spent less time with Viktoria than he would have liked and way too much time grid-locked in peace talks with the British that weren't going anywhere. Hopefully teaching would raise his spirits again.

Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Fourth Years

Noah walked into the class glad to be back, especially as this year he had the tornament to look forward to. Giving a small smile to the doctor he took a seat in the back of the class and slouched into it, waiting for the lesson to begin.

Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Fourth Years

Post by Dmitra Diamante Tue Jun 12, 2012 12:49 pm

Dmitra walked in a subdued fashion to her first Ancient Runes class of the year. She found the subject absorbing, but comparatively challenging compared to the breeziness of other subjects. Of course, that made her even more determined to do well. Especially with the tournament coming up. You might never know when Runes may come in handy, though she didn't think they'd be doing Battle Runes yet.

Dmitra walked quietly to the seat beside Noah again, and sat down.

Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Fourth Years

Vladimir was not very impressed at the moment, he realised as he returned to Durmstrang not only was his lessons shared by that girl he had met, who he did not get along with in any way shape or form and that would probably mean all his lessons he would now hate....a lot.

With a small sigh he stepped into the classroom and gave the other students a weak smile, already not wanting to be here.

Lucian was not very impressed that the Doctor was now allowing those Hogwarts students into the school, it was very unprofessional and he just hoped that his troust would not be misplaced in the Headmistress of Hogwarts.

With his brow furrowed, Lucian walked into the lesson, and looked around, a small sigh escaped his lips as he resigned himself to another year of being belittled by professors. He was so irate, he didn't even give his usual mornings greetings.

Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Fourth Years

The Doctor could tell that a number of his students were more than a little bit annoyed at the fact that the school was playing host to members of Hogwarts for the tournament. He sighed a little bit. He'd like to try and tell them that it was temporary but they were growing up and they weren't likely to really value his opinion that highly. He moved to the front of the class,

"Someone tell me what language the vikings spoke."

Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Fourth Years

Vladimir raised his hand when the Doctor asked the question he knew what it was and he was eager to try and get some points for his house even though the majority of the class was Muhe, and there was a 75% that they would get the points.

With a small smile he spoke when he was called upon;

"They spoke Old Norse, although it's an obsolete language now because nobody actually uses it any more." he said, hoping that he was going to be correct, if not, he'd look just a bit stupid.
