Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Lesson One - Fourth Years

Post by Viktoria Steinburg Tue Jun 12, 2012 6:55 am

Vikki had done nothing over the holidays, after being in the battle on the ship she had taken the time off to drink a lot of tea and think about the war, the tournament that was coming to Durmstrang she thought could not have happened at a better time, she just hoped that the students would be able to rest undisturbed at this event, and that nothing would go wrong.

With the first challenge looming ahead of them, Vikki sighed lightly and wondered what the students from Hogwarts would be like, and whether her friend Alice Nocte would be coming over with them, perhaps they would have tea once more if she was.

The brooms now in the center of the pitch she waited for the students to show to the lesson, hopefully they would still be interested in flying, despite the difficulties around them.

Noah walked onto the pitch, he was looking forward to flying, it made him get away from everything for a while. He went to stand by the broomsticks and waited for the class to start, hoping he wouldnt have to wait too long.

Dmitra sighed in contentment as she walked to the Quidditch fields. Flying, flying and flying. She could live and die on a broomstick. The only thing that could make this more perfect was if more students could be interested in it, so that they could have a real game.

Dmitra stood in the field, waiting for the Instructor to begin.

Viktoria looked at her two students and she smiled gently, they were the only ones who continued to botherto come to her lessons and she was glad of it, since her last student who had done this had stupidly killed herself she was left rather bored when lessons came around.

Waving to the two students, Viktoria smiled her usual dreamy smile.

"Good morning students, today we are going to be learning to do some aerial tricks, we are going to start off pretty small and show each other ones that we already know, before we develop on our skills." she said matter of factly.

Dmitra smiled brightly when the Instructor asked them to show what aerial tricks they could do. Immediately, she sat on the broom and kicked off from the ground, soaring to a great height. It was wrong of her to want to show off, but Quidditch was the one thing she was good at simply because she loved the sport, and not because she practiced for getting good grades in the subject.

Dmitra halted at a height of about fifty metres in the air. Then she swung around suddenly and plummeted to the ground, hands high in the air and gripping the broomstick with only her legs. She went into a sharp, handless, corkscrew dive, then pulled at at the last minute to execute a series of flawless loops. As an ending finale, she flew through a 360 degree loop and then pulled up, standing straight on her broomstick, hands high in the air, perfectly balanced. She got back to a sitting position and then touched down, getting off on the ground, smiling roguishly.

Viktoria watched, suitibly unimpressed when Dmitra took off and started to fly, she could tell that the girl was clearly talented, that much was clear, however she could also tell that she had somewhat of a desire to show off and flaunt her skills when she should not.

When she touched back down to the ground Viktoria merely wished she had a cup of tea and sighed lightly, before looking at her pocket watch, the class was almost over.

"I told you to perform an aerial trick, not show off just how good you are at flying, and also, I do not believe I told you to go yet, there could have been a charm on the pitch or anything." she said quietly "10 points from Muhe house. Class dismissed."
