THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Briony arrived at the Durmstrang Institute, there was an attack on the ship when the school had broken up for the summer holidays that had placed some tension on their meeting here, however there was something of a hope that was contained in this tournament that the schools and the children of the magical community would at least be able to be free from this war.
Walking up to the large doors of their main hall, all those from Britain who had chose to come and view the task behind her, as well as the champion for this task, Pyxis Wilson. With a light smile sent her way she walked into the hall, gazing around at all of the Professors and Students from Durmstrang sat there waiting to recieve her.
Briony could only hope that the bad feeling in her gut was wrong, and that this tournament would bring more peace than disruption to their nations by the end of the fourth task, of course she knew what this task was, she had devised it herself, and the Doctor knew, but to everyone else, it was going to be a complete surprise.

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Airen entered the Durmstrang Institute unsure of his thoughts on this tournament. He knew it would help build a less violent relationship between the two academies, but at the same time, he was more than a little untrusting of the Germans.
He took a seat in the Hogwarts champions' stand. He leaned back and waited for the task to begin. He gave a curt nod to the Headmistress. He kept an even gaze down on the ring where the task would take place.

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Noah was nervous. He looked clam and collected on the outside, but inside he was remembering every spell that could help him. He did not know what the task was, and as it was the first one that gave him extra pressure, he didnt know what would happen.
Gripping his wand he waited with the other durmstrang students, excited to begin.

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Pyxis would be lying if she said she wasn't nervous, because she was nervous as hell. It took all of her will-power not to turn into a pile of goo right then and there in front of everyone, but she held her head high and kept her features as calm as possible, though she could hear and feel her teeth chattering lightly. She hoped that it wasn't noticeable, but reasoned everyone would be too busy to notice a slight quivering of her mouth. She shut her eyes for a moment and took in a deep breath. Unknown to Pyxis, her face was slightly pale and there was a frightened look in her eyes as she stood and looked over at Keiba for reassurance. She hoped Parker had come too, but then why would he? He seemed to not care that much about her anymore.
She looked over at the headmistress and hoped this wouldn't be too life threatening. She was now wondering why the hell she signed up for this, but remembered it was because she wanted to have some fun. It did seem kind of fun, and risk-taking. She breathed in and out, calming herself and then gripped her wand tightly in her hand. She'd studied all of her spells extensively, and was running through them now in her head.

Keiba followed the Headmistress and the rest of the crowd into the Durmstrang Hall. It was so weird to be somewhere that was right in the midst of enemy territory. She wanted to see every last part of this tournament - for Humphrey and Pyxis. She'd only recently made a friend in the blonde Slytherin, but she knew it would be a lasting friendship.
Keiba chewed on the inside of her lip as she glanced around the magnificent stone hall. The students of Durmstrang were staring. Keiba was walking just behind Pyxis' shoulder, and gave her a reassuring smile when she glanced at her; but she had no idea what would happen next.

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Lucian was here to look and cheer on his school in this tournament, although he did not agree with it, he could not help but want to watch and see what the task was going to be, the Doctor had not even given him the smallest hint about what it could be about...
It irked him not knowing.
He was here to make sure that Aquila was safe if something did happen, as he looked at the people who entered the hall, he blinked when he recognised the girl, from Hogwarts, he had spoken with her one and he was surprised to see her again.
Wondering vaguely if she would remember him, he waved cheekily down at her, waiting for the task to begin.

Vladimir was so excited, he was slightly sad and had teamed up with some other people from Muhe house to make a special banner for Noah, as a fellow fourth year and a fellow Muhe he really wanted him to know that he had people here supporting him, he was here to make sure that he had the backing that he needed.
With a large grin on his face he sat down in the hall, watching the assembly of people grow and a nervous beat to his heart as he waited to hear exactly what the task was going to be, nobody knew, and that is what was going to make it so hard for the competators...but he knew Noah could do it.

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Seffi was more than a little nervous, she did not know what she was getting herself into when she had signed up to be one of the reserves for the tournament challengers, she had no idea if she would be needed to step in on the task and if they needed her too...it was going to be hard for her to win if another was already defeated by the task.
Biting her lip she sat down on one of the lower levels and wound her hands in her lap, she was wanting to get up and run away but she knew she couldn't, she had to stay and face what she had gotten herself in to, no matter what it might be.

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Humphrey was walking in the middle of the line, but was falling backwards. His head was taking in the sight of the first floor of the ship. When they entered the hall, he slipped even further back. Though some of the students had joined in the attack on the ship, Humphrey had decided not to at the end of last year. It was a decision he had made despite the fact he wanted to fight. For once, he thought he had actually made the right decision.
He knew then he had a lot to learn to catch up on still, and the entire summer he had spent studying. First, he got caught up on the second year stuff, then the first part of third year that he'd missed. Quickly, Humphrey had realized that he wanted to keep studying. So, as he normally did, he got his course books for fourth year and started working through them. Then Humphrey had even gotten the fifth year books for subjects he thought would be most useful. The three books he had gotten were the fifth year Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and Transfiguration books. It was very difficult work, but he had grasped most of what the books had to teach. On top of that, once he learned he would be going to compete in the third task of this tournament, Humphrey had gotten some books on basic healing spells. As well as a book on hand-to-hand combat. Hopefully, all the work he'd put in will have prepared him for this tournament.
At the moment though, it was Pyxis who was going up. She had gotten the first slot, and he felt for her. Yes, she would be done first, but it was tough to be the first one to go up against your rival school. They still weren't friends, but he was trying to become her friend. Working his way up to where Pyxis was, with Keiba just behind her, he found himself surprised. Pyxis, who he'd always thought as tough as nails, was scared. Her face was pale, her teeth chattering just a bit, and a look of fright was in her eyes. Though he knew she might not take it well, he decided she needed to be shown he had confidence in her.
Placing his right hand on Pyxis' shoulder, the left one had Keiba walking behind it, he gave it a light squeeze. Humphrey gave her a nod of encouragement, and a look of what he intended to be complete confidence in her abilities. Hopefully, she would catch it, and understand that he had faith in her. To be honest, he did, he'd seen Pyxis in action. She was definitely one of the most dangerous students at Hogwarts when it came to a fight. Smiling, he took his hand off her shoulder, and fell into step just behind her, opposite of Keiba on the other side. He just gave Keiba a quick look, and a slight inclination of the head, and then put his chin up, shoulders back. Let Durmstrang see that he had confidence that they could win, that was what he intended by this action. Also, maybe Pyxis' courage would be roused. If he knew anything about her, Humphrey knew that she probably had more courage than he did.

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Senium was attending these events at Durmstrang to give some support to all of the students who were participating there form their school, it was so good to finally see the schools getting along together, it was something she did not think would happen so close to the attacks.
Now seeing that Humphrey was busy with some of his other friends she merely sent a small smile his way and blushed under the gaze of the other Durmstrang students, she was glad that her vanity charm managed to keep her illness covered otherwise the staring would have been much worse!
Standing next to Headmistress Briony, Senium bit her lip and waited nervously in the tense atmosphere that seemed to be surrounding the hall.

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Lars had considered signing up for the tournament. One of his favorite things about Durmstrang though, was the escape it offered from the violence, betrayals, and plotting of his family. So, he had decided not to enter, despite the fact he would have loved to destroy the Hogwarts brats in the tournament. Besides, he knew it was unlikely he would have been anything but a reserve. Now, though, he knew that Seffi Dresner was a reserve. Naturally, Lars was silently cursing himself for not taking the place. If she ended up having to fight in the tournament, and got hurt. Well, he didn't know if he could handle watching that. Let alone the aftermath of it, this tournament would be dangerous. Lars doubted any of the students would be killed in it, but they could get seriously hurt. At least that is what he suspected.
When he saw Seffi biting her lip, Lars walked over to her. Clearly she was having second thoughts about signing up, at the very least her nerves were showing through. Lars put an arm around her as he sat down next to her, and gave her a light squeeze. Looking at her, he smiled, she was as beautiful as ever. Hopefully, with him there, the nerves would start to recede just a little bit.

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
The Doctor smiled as the British arrived. Sweeping down from the raised Highmaster's seat, The Doctor walked to Briony. Taking her hand, he bowed smoothly and kissed the back of his head before straightening up,
"Headmistress Romain, so glad that you could join us..." he checked a pocket watch and grinned, "Early! As I had expected from a lovely woman such as yourself. There is a chair right beside the Highmaster's chair for you and a long table for your students. If you'll excuse me... I shall unveil the first task."
The middle of the hall was empty of all tables and students were avoiding it thanks to a small repelling rune array. In the centre of the hall was a large square, marked out by four lines of complex runes. The Doctor raised his hands and silence decended upon the hall. He waved his hand and the candles dimmed,
"Fear." he declared, a rune on his neck making it so that his voice sounded like it was whispering just behind the ears of everyone in the hall, "That which makes a man a coward and that which separates us from the beasts. Instinctive... destructive. Fear is what grips your heart tightly and doesn't let go. Fear is what drives you to run like there's a demon on your tail! I give you... fear!"
The runic array lit up in an evil-looking purple, sparks of the same colour flying off of the lines of runes. In the near dark it looked a thousand times more menancing than in the light. Out of the four lines rose two stone cubes, slowly appearing as though it was rising out of the floor. It stopped, the cubes now almost to the high ceiling of the hall. The Doctor touched the side of one of the cubes,
"Fear... lives inside this box." he told the assembled people, "Noah Regnad and Pyxis Wilson will face their fears inside these boxes. And when they do we will see through this stone and watch it all. Watch them fight thirty boggarts... Each."
He turned to the two champions,
"Noah Regnad to the box on the right. Pyxis Wilson to the box on the left." he instructed them. He grinned darkly and the cubes both began to seemingly burn with purple fires, "You will have ten minutes to prepare to face that which you fear the most. I hope you have prepared your last will and testaments children... it is not unknown for someone to die of fright..."

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Raven looked up sharply when Briony arrived a smile lit up on her face and she was happy once more to see her old friend, she walked from her seat and glowered at the Doctor when he kissed Briony's hand, before she too repeated the same action, bringing her over to the long table.
Of course she did not know the task subject either, but when she heard it, Raven blinked and could not help but let a malicious grin spread across her cheeks, it was going to be fun....so fun to see the students in so much fear...given the fact she was head of Risiko, the house of fear itself.
Unable to disagree with the words of the Doctor, Raven almost bounced up and down in her seat in excitement and hopefully they would be able to put on a good show for her before they passed out.

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Victoria was in awe of the reality that they were actually at Durmstrang. She'd only ever heard how terrible Germans were, so had always pictured something of an inquisition prison. But, looking around, she noticed that the students here didn't look any different than the Hogwarts students. Hmm.
She had walked near the front of the group with the other competitors. She'd always found Airen and Pyxis to be very pleasant. And though Humphrey had gotten on her nerves lately, she still hoped he'd do well.
After they had all settled at the designated table, Victoria spotted a familiar face. She grinned widely, being able to see Vlad again. But she didn't try to get his attention, not sure how his classmates would react. She tried to focus on the task presented by the Headmaster.
As the task was revealed the whole situation seemed surreal to her. It seemed like only yesterday that they were first years learning how to levitate things. And now she had to watch Pyxis fend of 30 boggarts?!?! The spell was easy enough, but she knew from experience that it was all about the psychological fear of what it turned into. She couldn't look away, hoping that it turned out for her.

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Noah smiled seeing the banner, it was good to see he had support, especially after the impressive unveiling of the first task.
At first Noah had been relieved at the task, he could do the spell easily enough, having learnt it in his second year. But then he started to really think about it, he had to face 30 of them, that meant his worst fear multiplied by 30. He muttered to himslef to stay calm, and just take it one step at a time, after all, it was boggarts, that meant he had control, he knew what they would be, and he knew how to fight them.
Closing his eyes Noah thought of his worse nightmare, he had always had it, ever since he was a child, ever since his father had taken him to that place. Closing his eyes he tried to find a way to make his fear less scary for him, he thought he would need a few tricks up his sleeve, just in case one wasnt funny enough, or it didnt work multiple times.

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Pyxis was busy trying to calm herself down as she stared around her. She did her breathing routine, deep breath in, deep breath out, deep breath in, deep breath out, and she was finally beginning to calm down when a hand came to rest on her shoulder and she started violently, whipping around. She felt grateful to Humphrey though, because her nerves had been replaced by irritation and she nodded her head at him to acknowledge her thanks for his comfort. She then turned her attention to Keiba to talk to her before she went off and, well, did whatever the first task was. "Kei? If I die," she said this in all seriousness. "Thanks for being my friend, even if it was only for short time. I find it hard to make friends." Pyxis smiled at Keiba.
She walked forwards to the very front and stood there as the Doctor began to talk, her eyes widening as he revealed the task. A gulp of panic was given from Pyxis as she focused on her breathing once more, turning her fear into calm. She had to be calm, cool, and collected, even though she was about to face her worst fear 30 times over. She knew the spell, it was easy enough, but could she do it 30 times over without freaking out? Pyxis knew she could, she had to win. She waited patiently for the Doctor to finish talking before she began to think about what exactly her worst fear was. And that was just it, what she feared above all else was fear itself, which meant that the Boggart was probably going to take on many of her different fears. She had lots of deep fears, but she herself didn’t even know what her worst one was.
The boxes looked creepy as it was, and she didn’t want everyone to watch her deal with different fears but she knew she had no other choice. She sucked in a deep breath and stepped inside of the box, looking around. She clutched her wand tightly as all around her, various fears of hers suddenly appeared. She squeaked as she saw a werewolf come running at her, and she immediately lifted her wand. “Ridikkulus!” She cried, watching as the werewolf turned into a huge, fluffy bunny rabbit. She whipped around as she felt a chill inside her very core and gasped at the dementor. “Riddikulus!” She turned it into a plush toy. Turning around once more, she knew she could do this. She was strong, she could do this easily. Even as she stared at the dead bodies of her only three friends, Charlotte, Parker and Keiba, she still knew she could do this. “Riddikulus! Riddiukulus! Riddikulus!” She cried over and over, everything changing and morphing, but the further she got the weaker she became, the more scared.
By the time she powered through 10 boggarts, she was reduced to tears as she stared at her mother’s body now, head smashed in by a vase that was in her father’s hand. He suddenly turned and came at her, vase lifted and a mad look in his eye. She screamed and buried her face in her hands, sobs wracking her body. She wasn’t so sure if she could do this anymore, for that feeling of fear which she feared most was slowly consuming her entire body. She scrambled backwards away from her insane father, just as another dementor appeared and came drifting towards her, followed by a werewolf. Her attention turned to the werewolf first as it was closest to her. “Riddikulus!” It changed into a bright pink tree. Then her father, “Riddikulus!” He switched into a vase itself with flower patterns on it. Finally, she raised her wand to the ever-growing-closer dementor. “Riddikulus!” Her voice shook to hard. “R-R-Ridduk-Riddik-” She stopped and sucked in another deep breath. “Riddikulus!” The spell worked properly this time, and as she wanted the dementor became one of those crazy lights that she’d seen at a muggle club one time.
She was getting closer now, she’d done 13, almost halfway. She was so tired though, and she felt her body slump. Her head fell back against the floor and she stared upwards as she heard sounds all around her. Whether they were boggarts or on-lookers, she didn’t know. But she needed to care, and she didn’t want to loose. Determination bubbled in her, she had to win! She forced herself to get back up off the ground and keep going. She took them on slowly now, steeling her nerves before she did so. One by one, she took them down. If two got near her, she would circle away and move onto another boggart. She was almost done now, only 5 to go. Tears continued to pour endlessly down her cheeks, her face had taken on a slight greenish tinge, and a mask of fear now seemed to be permanently on her face. 4 to go, 3 to go. She stared at the last two boggarts in absolute terror and a slight bit of excitement. She was almost done. She lifted her wand one last time, just as the dementors morphed and changed, swirling and whirling, and then it turned into one of the Nickel twins, Viktor, and the crazy woman with the knife, The Sweeney.
Pyxis screamed and stumbled backwards several steps, thrown back into her memories and away from the Tournament. To everyone else, she would look insane, arms flailing behind her as if there was someone behind her she needed to protect, but in her memories there was. Parker, she had to make sure he was safe. She held her arms out and tried to protect him. “Please, please don’t hurt me,” Pyxis begged of the two in front of her. Fire flickered out of Viktor’s hand, and she shook her head, her own fire sparking out of her hands. “Please!” She cried, turning around fully now and pushing Parker away. “Go! Get out of here!” She demanded, watching as he was carried away by a crowd that wasn’t there. She turned back to Viktor and The Sweeney, terrified for her life as they spoke threatening words and The Sweeney smiled in a disturbing way at her, like she was her prey. Pyxis blinked as she remembered that she was in the Tournament and looked around her. She gulped and let out a sob as she lifted a violently shaking hand. “R-R-R-Riddikulus!” She cast for the final time, and the two boggarts turned into two single roses, one red and one white. She dropped onto her knees, and then her head fell onto the floor and she curled up into a ball. She was done, she hoped.

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Noah gripped his wand tightly in his hand as he waited for it to open, the only comfort he had was that he knew exactly what the boggarts would be, its the only thing they ever were. Keeping calm he faced the box and pulled out the wand as it opened.
A swarm of bats came out, all different sizes, all squeking with high pitched voicees, and all making there way to him. Noah faltered, he knew it was a stupid fear, but bats were the only thing that had ever truely terrified him, they just put him in a bad place.
Gripping his wand he turned to a bat at the begging of the crowd and cast the spell "Riddikulus!" immediately the bat turned bright pink and started growing lots of fluff, it ended up on the floor rolling around unable to get up. He let out a breath, one down, only 29 to go.
Looking at the next few bats he again cast the spell on each of them, each turning into fluffy balls on the floor. By the time he had got to his 7th bat though he was tired, they kept swarming round him and he was beginning to react to the fear, he knew he needed to do something that would stop them all together, ish.
Gripping his wand he saw a group of about 12 bats/boggarts, thinking in his mind a very clear picture of what he wanted he raise his wand and shouted "Riddikulus" at first it didnt look like anything had happened, but then the bats squeaking turned into a song, a muggle song that Noah had once heard when visiting his neighbours in Italy. The bats were singing 'The cheeky song' by the cheeky girls, (Noah had thought it would make things more funny, hopefully) and as the sung, they began to do syncronised flying at the same time, making silly shapes out of their bodies.
Looking around Noah saw only about 10 bats left, but these looked worse than the others, they had glowing red eyes and massive fangs pertruding from their mouths. Shaking slightly Noah tried to think what to do, as the came towards him he got more and more scared, then he raised his wand "R-riddikulus" he managed to say as the first bat got braces and glasses. Gaining some confidence he said the spell 3 more times, each bat either getting a strange colourful hairdo, tripping over their wings or becoming too fat to fly. There were only 7 bats left now, casting the spell again in quick succession Noah managed to turn 4 of them into pumkins with smiley bat faces on (he was channelling halloween there) then he turned to the 3 that were left.
Shaking still with fear he was getting more and more tired now, it was harder to think of things to turn the bats into, having an idea he turned to the bat that was closest to him, although by now they were all swooping in to claw his hair or face, and shouted "Riddikulus" at first nothing happened, but then as the bat began to fly in the light, it started to sparkle, until it just looked like a big sparkly ball. Noah smirked to himself, this was another muggle thing he had read.
Two more left, Noah thought as he turned around, but as he looked at the two they did not stay separate. The 2 creatures morphed before his eyes into a giant bat, the bat was was big as a half giant (according to Noah) and the most terrifying thing he had ever seen. He faltered, not knowing how to stop this boggart. Raisinh his wand he said "Riddikulus" but his voice was shaking and the spell did not work. Then he shouted the spell, "RIDDIKULUS!" as he sank to the floor. NOah looked up to see the boggarts fangs turn to winegums and body to marshmallow, he had turned it into a giant sweet. Then it dissapeared.
Sighing, and still shaking with fear, Noah put his head in his hands, glad it was over, and glad for now that he would not have to do another task.

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Aquila stood in the crowd, watching Noah and the other girl battle it out. She heard someone inform their friend that the Hogwarts girl was called Pyxis Wilson. This surprised her for some reason, mostly due to the fact that they held the same last name, and she pushed past everyone to get closer. She hoped that her task wouldn't be like that, as Aquila despised showing fear. It was a sign of weakness, and she refused to be reduced to tears like these two were.
She knew what her worst fear was, and she would never want anyone to see it. She had to fight hard not to get angry just at thinking about her fear. She looked closely at the Pyxis girl, who didn't look too scared yet as they were only in the beginning, and she frowned. Pyxis looked far too like her for it to be normal, if only Aquila could see her eyes. It could just be coincidence that they looked similar and had the same last name, but if Pyxis had her eyes there would be no doubt in her mind.

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
The Doctor had watched both students progress through their boxes while stood beside Briony's chair. As the task wore on they whispered comments to each other, trying to decide who was doing the best in the task and who, eventually, should be decided the winner. When both students had completed the task they had decided upon a winner.
Moving towards the middle of the hall, The Doctor clapped his hands. The cubes began to shrink back into the floor again but Pyxis and Noah slid through the walls easily, leaving them in the relatively open air of the hall again. He smiled and started clapping,
"Well done! Well done you two! You both performed well, fighting against your fears!" he congratulated the two of them, helping both of them to their feet, "And the decision had already been made..."
He lifted Pyxis' arm up high,
"Winner of the first task, Pyxis Wilson!" he announced before holding up Noah's hand, "And another round of applause for Noah Regnad!"
He let go of both students to let them return to their friends. Waving a hand for silence, he gestured to Pyxis,
"Miss Wilson displayed some of the greatest courage I have ever witness in that box today my friends and students." he told the hall at large, "She faced some truly terrifying things, including our own Raven Drake. And I think we all know she's pretty damn scary. For calm under fear, we award this task to Miss Pyxis Wilson."
He let the crowd applaud a bit more before holding his hands up for silence,
"Notices will be sent out when the second task is ready to begin. Keep an eye out for them... goodnight."

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Senium stood up and punched her arm in the air when it was said that Hogwarts had won the first round, she did not even really know the champion herself but she was so so glad that she had managed to go through all of that trauma and win the glory of winning the first trial.
Clapping happily the grin could not be wiped from her face as she hoped that the next round would be just as successful for the Hogwarts Champion, although she felt bad for being so happy when the Durmstrang champion had tried so hard and she stopped laughing quite so loud and celebrated more quietly.
Looking to see how Humphrey was reacting, she smiled gently up at Briony Romain, she looked actually happy for once.

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Vladimir almost pouted when the results were given, he thought that Noah had done a bloody good job and he was crushed that the judges had decided who was going to win, even though it was strange that they were actually able to come to some conclusion without fighting with each other.
Maybe this was going to be good for the two schools after all, letting his banner fold up he placed it in his pocket and waited to be able to go and congratulate his team mate for doing one of the best jobs he had ever seen, he knew he wouldn't have been able to do that.
"Good job Noah!" he called out "You did great!"

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Victoria cheered along with the rest of them. As the small group of Hogwarts students gathered around Pyxis, she made her way over to the Durmstrang competitor.
After she waited her turn in the crowd, she approached and smiled at him. "You did great! You should be really proud. I don't know if I could have got through that many."
Victoria's main goal for being a part of the Tournament was to foster communication and growth between the schools. She thought a good way to do so was to treat the other students with respect, instead of mimicking the fear that so many British adults demonstrated back home.
She then moved over to the Hogwarts group to congratulate Pyxis. She really had done an amazing job.

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Keiba screamed loudest of them all when poor old, exhausted Pyxis finally won her task. She was the first out and hugging the blonde slytherin, grinning and laughing like a madwoman.
"Pyxis, you're amazing! You won! You WON!" She couldn't help the side-splitting happiness that rocked through her body.
She hugged her brand-new friend even tighter and squealed. Keiba was so proud of her. "We should go congratulate Noah, too. He fought really well, and to be honest, I don't think you're the type not to shake hands on this matter," Keiba suggested quietly so only Pyxis could hear. She gave her an encouraging smile.

Re: THE FIRST TASK (OPEN TO ALL)
Everything seemed to pass by in a blur as she was announced the winner. She could feel a huge grin on her face, but was it her controlling her body? She looked around, the world was spinning, and she felt as if she was hearing and feeling it all of from far, far away. She blinked as she was engulfed by Hogwarts students congratulating her, and only when Keiba approached was she thrust back into feeling.
She let out a sob and collapsed on Keiba right after she'd made her suggestion, body trembling violently. After she'd finished her episode, she nodded in agreement and managed to smile again.
"Yes, he was really good," Pyxis' voice was hoarse from an over-load of crying as she smiled at Victoria on her way over to the Durmstrang group. She gently weaved through them, Keiba's hand tightly in her grip, walking straight up to Noah. She smiled warily at him and held out her free hand to shake his. "You did really well!" She said honestly.
