Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Lesson One - Fourth Years

Post by Briony Romain Wed Jun 13, 2012 1:31 am

Although Briony was happy that this Professor had finally managed to leave...or rather become 'indesposed' she did not like the fact that she now had to cover his lessons until there could be found a replacement for him, it was annoying to say the least.

Sighing she gathered up the lesson plans and walked into the classroom, surely this lesson was going to be completely empty, after all what student would willingly take History of Magic? Briony thought with a smirk on her lips.

Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Fourth Years

Post by Humphrey Williams Wed Jun 13, 2012 9:09 am

Walking into the nearly empty History of Magic Classroom, Humphrey smiled. He loved this subject, and Headmistress Romain was teaching it this week. "Hello Headmistress, are you ready to teach me about some random war or something like that?" Humphrey asked her in a happy-sounding voice. "History of Magic is just such a great class, it can teach you so much. People say you will never use history in your own life. It is true we won't use the facts of a battle or something in our life, but the lessons history teach us can help us so much."

Sitting down in the seat directly in front of her desk, he pulled out his parchment, ink pot, and quill. Eager to learn, he decided to zip his lips for the moment. That was always a challenge for Humphrey, to put it mildly.

Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Fourth Years

Victoria walked quickly into the room. She had been the only student in this class at the end of last year, but didn't want to be late just because of that.

As she took a seat next to Humphrey, she was happy to see the Headmistress at the desk. Victoria figured it would be stupid to sit away from Humphrey just because she wasn't very happy with him. If it was just going to be the two of them, she wanted to make it easier for the Headmistress.

Smiling at her, she said, "Hello, Headmistress. How was your summer?"
