Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Lesson One - Fourth Years

Post by Briony Romain Wed Jun 13, 2012 1:34 am

Although Briony was happy that this Professor had finally managed to leave...or rather become 'indesposed' she did not like the fact that she now had to cover his lessons until there could be found a replacement for him, it was annoying to say the least.

Sighing she gathered up the lesson plans and walked into the classroom, surely this lesson was going to be completely pointless because last time she had taught it she had already covered half of the spells in her own duelling lessons.

Sitting down at the desk Briony picked up a mug of coffee and waited for the students to arrive.

Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Fourth Years

Charms class was always so interesting to Humphrey. So many charms could do unique things. No charm was quite the same, and was fun to learn new ones. They were always useful in some way, at least it seemed like that. "Hello Professor, what are we going to be learning today?" he asked, excited to be back in class. He was sure he was one of the few students who looked forward to classes. Most kids liked Hogwarts because of the friends. Humphrey enjoyed both the friends part, and the learning part though. Sometimes, the learning even more than the social aspect of Hogwarts.

Since he was the only student there, he took a seat at the front of the class. Maybe this way the class wouldn't seem so empty to Headmistress Romain while she was waiting for the other students to arrive. "I hope Raven is doing well. How old is she now?" Humphrey asked.

Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Fourth Years

Victoria walked into class, happy to be on time. Again, she figured it would be stupid to sit too far from Humphrey, but did give him a chair's space. With this class, who knew how much elbow room they would need.

Smiling at the Headmistress, she hoped Tess would be along soon.

Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Fourth Years

Keiba quickened her step when the bell tolled for the end of lunch, determined not to be the last one to her last class for the day. To her inner amusement, she found she wasn't the last one there. Mission accomplished, she thought to herself as she plonked herself down next to Humphrey.

"Hey," she said softly, her voice tired and strained and her body language exhibiting signs of exhaustion.

Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Fourth Years

Keiba came in, and Humphrey smiled at her, "Hey." He still hadn't told her about what had happened last year with Tess, and he knew he should. Plus, he needed to talk to her about Senium. Hopefully, she wouldn't mind, the Senium bit at least. The Tess thing he knew she would chew him out for, and he kind of wanted her to call him out on it. "Want to meet somewhere to talk after class?" he asked her in a whisper.

Their friendship was still the strongest. At least, he thought it still was. She was the first friend he'd made, and if he wanted to stay friends for life with anybody it was her. Keiba was never afraid to tell him how big of a jerk he was acting like and knock some sense into him. Such a great person, he'd always care about her a lot. If anything were to happen to her, Humphrey would be clueless. He needed her friendship in his life because she was kind of like an anchor for him. Whenever he felt like he was drifting away, or about to crash, she was there to help.

Keiba rested her forehead on her hand. She waved at Humphrey dismissively. "Sure, why not?" She whispered back. Keiba didn't really know what was going on lately but for some reason her best friend kept acting like he was itching to tell her something.

"Okay cool, how about the student common area?" Humphrey asked. That would be a good place to meet, oftentimes students went back to their own house common rooms. A lot of the time the student common area wasn't very busy. Keiba didn't know what had happened with Tess last year. Also, he needed to tell her about Senium. He felt so guilty, and angry at himself for what he did.
