Times A Changing (OPEN)

[Kaspar Kaiser]

Kaspar had not had a very good few months with his band there had been more arguments than he could care to count and he wanted to simply be done with the whole scene, his mood had gone down rapidly when he found out that his little friend Alex had killed herself.

He was more than a little annoyed at her for doing so. Kaspar was always just a phone call away from her, if she was so upset she could have phoned him and he would have given all he could to make her happy once more, but that seemingly wasnt enough.

Sighing he decided to drown his sorrows in hard liquor whenever he thought of it and downing his fifth vodka shot of the night Kaspar ordered another.

[Lolly Hart]

Lolly once again touched her feathery short hair in absent-minded state as she walked into the bar. It was hard getting used to not having her long hair, and she missed it still. Lolly still felt awkward every time she moved, as she could remember the feeling of it down her back but could no longer sense it there. Instead, it tickled her neck and ears.

She knew her features were still hollow, and it would take a lot of recovery to get them back - and her memories, but to her that didn't really matter at the moment. Lolly softly walked into the bar, the mixed emotions running through her head: lust, anger, dizziness, regret, joy. But one swirl of emotion drew her attention and Lolly glanced around, searching through her blue eyes for the source.

Eventually she found him; Kaspar, whom she'd met at the ball, dwelling on his own annoyance and depression. Lolly pushed her way slowly through the crowd and casually sat next to him, not ordering anything from the bartender.

Kaspar was drinking another glass of vodka when he sensed someone looking at him. He turned slightly and saw Lolly Hart, someone he'd met at the creature ball, sitting next to him at the bar. Finishing his glass of vodka, he ordered another from the bartender. He down it as well before ordering another. He paused,

"And one for the lady too." he told the bartender. The man came back and placed a glass of vodka in front of both Kaspar and Lolly, "Nice to see you again Lolly. I wish you could have caught me at a better time."

A flicker of worry danced through Lolly's mind as Kaspar downed two vodkas and then ordered another. These obviously weren't his first for the night and his breath was starting to smell of it. The bartender placed one in front of Lolly, and she glanced sideways at it. She didn't touch it though.

"Same to you, Kaspar." Lolly dreaded asking the question, but she wasn't one to hold back. "What happened?"

Kaspar turned to Lolly, and managed a faint smile, he noted that the lady didn't look the best and he hoped that something had not happened to her while she was apart from him, it would be horrible to know something had happened to another of his friends.

Now all he needed to hear was something had happened to Tamara.

When he was asked what happened he laughed quietly and saw no harm in telling her;

"A girl I cared about didn't think to pick up the phone and ask for help before she killed herself, it's nice to know my friendship meant nothing to her. That everything I did hadn't made her life any better in any way." he glared slamming a glass harshly on the bar.
