Background Information:

Oliver had no problems living a happy childhood. He had both his parents, no siblings, and all that he could ask for. Halfway through his years at Hogwarts, both his parents were killed in a raid. He was taken to live with his grandmother in London, where he threw himself into his schooling. After graduating, Oliver realized that Hogwarts was truly the place for him. After a few years of being on his own, taking the occasional odd job, Oliver has come back to take over the position of History of Magic Professor.

Because he is a mere five years older than the eldest students in Hogwarts, Oliver tends to be more teenage-like outside of the classroom. He is completely serious when teaching, but on his own, he's pretty easy going. His young face betrays him when people ask if he's going to school at Hogwarts, but he just laughs it off and replies that he is a Professor at the fabled school.
