Lesson Two - Fourth Years Empty Lesson Two - Fourth Years

Post by Darcie Vane Tue Jun 26, 2012 12:27 am

Darcie was looking forward to this lesson like she always was, however she was a little sad that she had missed the last few tasks between Hogwarts and Durmstrang, she made a promise to herself however to come to the next one as it was Aquila fighting in it.

Running a hand through her hair Darcie tied it up into a bobble and wondered about the times ahead, with Mik now being her friend again and with Luther being so close to her now, things were looking up for her.

A large smile on her lips she waited for her class to arrive, the lesson point was on the board like always;

Lesson Two - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - Fourth Years

Dmitra entered the Dark Arts classroom, cradling her hand to her chest. She was dead tired from participating in the Second Task, her hand was aching from having been badly injured in the Task. But she definitely did not want to miss Dark Arts.

Dmitra walked to her seat, and smiled at Professor Vane. Her Professor was cheery enough to inject energy into the most exhausted of people. Still smiling, she sat down.

Aquila pushed her hair off of her face as she walked along to her Dark Arts class, eyes fixed on the ground. She'd been having trouble walking lately, which was beginning to panic her. She knew it was something to do with her weird cancer that the healer's had never encountered before. She rubbed at her forehead and sighed heavily.

She stepped into the classroom and picked her way to the chair closest to the door. She collapsed into the seat and immediately her head snapped up. She smiled at Darcie and gave her a small wave.

Lesson Two - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - Fourth Years

Post by Vladimir Wazowski Wed Jun 27, 2012 7:57 am

Vladimir walked into his lesson he knew that with everything going on students weren't really focussing much on the lessons they were simply thinking about what the next task was going to bring, however he knew that he needed to pay attention this year.

OWLS were next year after all, he needed to make sure that he passed his exams to continue onto the next school year.

Sighing a little he sat down and waited for the lesson to begin.

Lesson Two - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - Fourth Years

Lucian walked slowly to his classes, he was glad that the Halloween Ball had gone so well and he had actually managed to show up after doing the mountains of rune translations that the Doctor had set him as some sort of Apprentice training, even though they did none of that anyway.

Sighing a little he waved his hand and gave his usual; "Yo." feeling a little more relaxed than usual, he might even be in the mood to answer somebodies question if they asked him.

Lesson Two - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - Fourth Years

Darcie loved tot each this class because they were just so enthusiastic and they always showed up for lessons no matter how busy they were, she was always glad to teach them as they really were a bunch of bright students, hopefully they would be just as engaged this lesson.

"Hi there everyone, so nice to see you all again." she smiled happily "Now, can someone tell me what grey magic is, maybe an example of something that could be classed as grey magic?"

Lesson Two - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - Fourth Years

Dmitra sighed a bit. She was frankly exhausted to the bone, but she could never resist the temptation of answering a question, especially in Darcie's class. So she raised her hand, irrespective of the fact that her hand currently felt like a dead lump of lead, "Grey magic is something neither dark, nor light, but somewhere in between. It can be used to do harm, or good. What comes under grey magic, and what doesn't is subjective, depending upon the viewpoint of the person. For example, a cutting curse can be used to cut vegetables, or cut someone's throat. Its neither dark, nor light, therefore grey."

Darcie smiled happily when Dmitra raised her hand to answer her question it was nice to see that someone was still awake in her class and even though she must have been exhausted from her task, she still had the presence to answer the question.

"Thank you so much for that wonderful answer Dmitra! That is exactly what grey magic is." she said with a happy little nod "That example was one that I would have used too! 10 points to Muhe!"

Looking at the time, Darcie pouted a little bit and she could not help but be a little sad as the lesson was dismissed;

"Alright guys the lesson is over, thank you very much for your contributions today."

As the lesson was dismissed, Darcie rooted through her desk drawer and placed a bottle of pepper up potion in front of Dmitra with a happy little smile on her lips before returning to her quarters behind the classroom.

Dmitra couldn't help but smile brightly as Darcie placed the pepper-up potion on her desk. She was a Professor, definitely extremely busy, but she still had the time to notice that Dmitra wasn't feeling at her best.

"Thank you Professor." Dmitra then turned and exited the class after her teacher, feeling the Professor Vane was certainly the kindest and most understanding woman she had ever met.
