First Meeting (Verstecken Schatten Only)

[Aquila Wilson]

Aquila'd found recruiting members for the Verstecken Schatten harder than she'd thought. Keeping discreet, whilst getting people to join was not nearly as fun as it sounded. In fact, it was pretty suckish. But she'd done it, and now she could actually hold a meeting. After four years. Aquila sighed and leant back against the wall, behind the desk at the front of the disused classroom. She wasn't one for extravagance, but she'd placed a few charms of protection over the room so they would hopefully not be interrupted in the middle of a meeting. She yawned and reached her hand up to push her hair out of her face.

She certainly wouldn't be doing much walking this meeting, she told herself. Deciding to do the walking now, she carefully made her way over to the desk and moved around to the front of it, sitting down. She looked around at the classroom, having already set up various dummies, e.t.c to practice attack spells on. She could only hope they'd make some progress.

[Seffi Dresner]

Seffi walked into the meeting room, she had of course joined, she wanted to make sure that what had happened when she and her parents were attack would not happen again, and the attack on the ship showed that she needed to be able to defend herself.

Seeing that there was one lady in there, someone from on older year, Seffi blushed a little and became nervous, she wanted to seem tough, but who was she kidding? She was only twelve, and she could not be more nervous about this.

Sitting down, she waited for the meeting to begin, sending a small nervous smile to the lady.

[Lucian Ciero]

Lucian was excited for this meeting, he had been waiting for so long to get this thing started but he had been more than surprised when he walked into the meeting room and saw that the leader was Aquila, it was definately a surprise, but he knew that the job would get done with her as the leader at least.

Giving her a cheeky grin as he walked in Lucian waved at the other girl in the group, she looked a little young and he wondered if she was really going to be any good at the whole killing and maiming thing. Who was he to judge however?

Taking the seat next to Aquila he placed a soft hand on her shoulder and squeezed lightly, he did not want her to feel alone, he was here to help her in any way possible.

"Well hello there Boss lady." he smirked "The one time you're in charge of me, make good use of it." Lucian joked.

Vlad walked into the meeting room and he was happy to see that there were lots of people here he already knew, of course there was Aquila he had met at the ball and there was Lucian who was in most of his classes and seemed pretty cool.

Then there was Seffi, the youngest and a member of Muhe house, she seemed so very alone and nervous, so he sat down next to her and attempted to give her a reassuring smile. Then he turned and waved to the others and waiting for the meeting to begin.

Aquila looked up as a girl walked in - and she looked far too young to be here. Aquila blinked, but she knew that everyone was worthy of joining so she shrugged and gave her a small smile that was there for barely a few seconds. Aquila grinned at the very brief moment of surprise when Lucian walked in and she winked at him.

Aquila raised her eyebrows at his joke and tutted. "Wow, you really know how to win a woman over, Luci," she rolled her eyes and swung her legs as she sat. As Vladimir walked in, she knew everyone had arrived. But, un-like a normal teacher, she didn't stand up. Falling over wasn't appealing. Instead, she stilled her swinging legs and her expression became focused.

"Alright, welcome to the first meeting. Today, we're going to focus on attack spells," she looked around. "I've set up several targets for you to practise different spells on," she motioned to the targets on the walls, the plants and the dummies. "On the targets, you'll practice your aim with a bow and arrow," she now pointed at the bow and arrows set up underneath the target. "This exercise will also build up your strength. On the dummies, you will practice the stupefying and the disarming spell. And on the pot plants, reducto." The pot plants had been set far apart from one another and everywhere else in the room.

Seffi hummed a little when Aquila had finished talking, hopefully she would be able to make something go right for her this session, there were many things to do after all, but the one that appealed to her most was the bow and arrow training, it would help her to make sure that the attacks she did with her wand too were better aimed.

Walking over to pick up the bow and arrow she bit her lip and looked around for approval for her to begin the activity, slowly she walked over to the targets and placed the arrow in the bow, looking down the peice of wood to aim it properly at the center of the target.

Once she was sure that she had gotten it right, she let go of the arrow and it flew out of the bow, however she had moved her hand at the last moment and it struck the very outside of the target, much to Seffi's dissappointment.
