"And how are you Odette?"she asked not wanting to make Odette feel left out.

Odette watched the two converse with little interest. Sighing, she sat on the grass, facing the lake, poking sticks in the water. The ripples made more fun than hearing the small talk, so she continued doing so.

Hearing her name, she looked up. "Peachy." She shrugged, and went back to the water. She saw a few water bugs, so she picked up a piece of bark and carefully made a sail with leaves and grass. Placing the bug onto her boat, she pushed it forward with the stick, watching her handy work with a sparkle in her eye.

He heard Odette sigh, and looked over. They'd been ignoring her completely, and he felt bad about it. Walking over, Humphrey took a seat next to her.

"Peachy huh, you are over here all by yourself. Sorry, didn't mean to leave you out of the conversation." he apologized. Watching with fascination as she made the mini boat, he started clapping when she finished. "That's so cool! Wish I could make stuff like that." Humphrey admitted.
