Seeing Willow smile, Markuz felt his heart warm up a little bit. He really liked Willow a lot. He felt a bit like an older brother really, protective, joking, but still caring in the end. Although maybe he was a bit too perverted to really fit that role.

"Ah well, a man can dream. And who says I only have to find one 'special' friend? Why not two? Or three? That way I can let two of them fight over me whilst having some fun with the third. Kinky no?" Markuz grinned. He was joking, but a man could dream.

Seeing Willow grin, he saw her eyes light up as she spoke of flying and her other hobbies.

"Ah, those things sound fun as well. I don't really love flying, I prefer Thestrals or Apparition. Baking, I have never tried, so I wouldn't really know. Then again, I do love eating, so we complement each other in that aspect."

Markuz grinned when Willow called them opposites.

"Opposites attract, do they not? And even so, I think we complement each other, you soften my more brutal side, and I do my best to get you to toughen up a little bit."

Willow blinked at Markuz and she felt her cheeks heat up a little, pressing her hands to her cheeks to try and cool them down Willow tried not to dwell on his rather perverse thoughts, they weren't for her ears and she certainly didn't want to think about what Markuz thought was a good time.

"Uhm....not that I really know what 'kinky' means, but I have a feeling I really really don't want to!" she squeaked out a little bit, taking her hands from her eyes "I think you really need to save that for your special friends, plural or singular."

Shrugging her shoulders Willow knew what method of flying she preffered and it wasn't by any other means that a person could actually fly themselves.

"I don't think that I could see you baking, but you're more than welcome to eat any of the things that I bake when I'm finished, I do it faster than I can eat what I make." she giggled "You're too right there! I like the way that sounds."

Markuz grinned again. He had poor Willow all flustered. With his amused grin still on his face, he spoke.

"No, I guess it's not a word you'd know. But alright, let's drop this topic before I actually manage to set you on fire, because your cheeks are getting redder by the minute. And for the record, one special friend is more then enough. A woman deserves love, respect and my full attention. I might joke, but I'm still a good guy in the end. Or at least I hope I am."

Markuz grinned when Willow told him he could eat her baked foods.

"Excellent! Whenever you want to share or got too much, my office door is always open. Then again, it's always open for you... Hmm. Just keep me in mind when you got some extra food. That's all I ask."

Markuz smiled gently when Willow giggled.

"Yes, it does sound rather nice, but then again, it's true as well. So why not say it. As long as nobody else hears and my strong and silent image isn't damaged." Markuz joked.

Willow smiled happily and she was very glad that the topic was going to be dropped now, after all, it was very odd for her to be involved in such a saucy conversation, and it would probablt make her face turn a permenant shade of red, which was totally not attractive in anyones book.

"Oh of course! I know you're a good guy underneath all of your pervy-ness, and you're only joking of course, I know you would never play different girls off each other, only jerks do that."

With a happy little nod Willow grinned and she giggled a little bit, it was so funny the way that he seemed so flustered, but in the end he said what he wanted to and she giggled again;

"I sure will, actually I'm thinking about baking some more brownies this week, do you like them?"

Nodding her head Willow pressed her fingers to her lips and grinned; "Your secret is safe with me."

Markuz grinned when Willow told him she knew he was a good guy. That was nice.

"Why thank you. I'm deducting from that, that you think I am not a jerk. How very kind! But you are indeed correct." Markuz smiled.

Markuz grinned when Willow giggled. And when she mentioned brownies, he started grinning like a loon.

"Brownies? Oh please yes! Any time, any place, a brownie is always welcome!"

Markuz smiled when willow pressed her fingers to her lips.

"Excellent, then I can keep acting nice and friendly around you instead of having to obliviate you." He joked.

Willow smiled and she giggled a little bit, of course she didn't think that he was a jerk, it was easy to when you knew him and she would like to think that she knew him very well, Willow liked Markuz very much, and she normally didn't make friends with jerks in the first place.

"I thought I was! Thank you for backing me up on this point." she laughed lightly "Although I would try to make sure if you were one, that you changed to a nice guy."

Nodding her head with a happy smile Willow made a mental note to bring Markuz some brownies when she next made them; "Okay then, I will bring you some new week when I get the time to make them."

Giggling again Willow grinned; "Well thank you very much for that."

When Willow laughed, Markuz had to grin. It was so typical for her to ry and make everyone a better person. Even jerks. With a smile, he spoke, "And I have no doubt that you would have succeeded marvelously. Fortunately, we won't have to explore that realm of possibility."

Markuz beamed when Willow mentioned getting him brownies.

"I'd like that quite a lot. Thank you in advance. Don't do it if you don't have the time for it though."

Taking on an imperious look, Markuz gave a regal nod.

"You are very welcome for that, you may kiss my ring now to express your gratitude."

Whilst extending his hand, Markuz conjured a simple steel ring onto his finger. Looking at Willow with an imperious nod, Markuz had to suppres his grin.

Willow smiled gently and she couldn't help but feel glad that she wouldn't have to worry about helping another person become better, after all she was already trying to do that with both Leopold and Gervais, Markuz was someone she could be safe in knowing she'd be safe with.

"I'm glad that we don't with all the work that I do, and helping all of these other people I think to take on someone else that needs help is going to be really hard." she pouted a little.

Running her hand through her hair, Willow got up from the sofa and slinked over to the cupboard in the corner, taking out a small bottle of cocacola that the house elves had conjured for her.

When she turned back and Markuz was fixing her with that look, Willow almost crumpled to the floor in laughter as she held onto the cupboard to keep herself upright, before nodding and walking back over to kiss his ring;

"Of course you're majesty." she joked.

Markuz was puzzled for a second when Willow mentioned having to help other people. As in more then one... He could figure her boyfriend, Leopold might be one, but another one? He wondered who that might be. Seeing her pout, Markuz grinned again. Still cute.

"I can understand that you have a lot of work. But who are you helping? I mean sure, there's the hospital, and maybe you're helping Leopold with his more ... ah, cruel side, but that's still only one person."

Seeing Willow move towards a cupboard, Markuz suppressed a shiver when he noticed her taking out some coca cola. Brr... way too fizzy for him.

Getting thirsty as well, Markuz summoned another beer. Draining half of his glass, he smiled. Ah, the marvels of beer.

Markuz smiled smugly when Willow kissed his ring and named him a majesty. Dropping his regal look, Markuz allowed himself to smile openly.

"That was fun. But I'd hate it if I had to act like that all the time. I really am glad I'm from an impoverished pureblood family. Just imagine having to act like that all day! Horrible!"

Willow hummed a little bit when Markuz asked her a question, before she bit her lip a little bit, hearing what the question actually was, maybe it was something that she should try and keep to herself? But if she did that she would draw even more attention to the matter and that wouldn't do!

"I'm helping my old friend Gervais, he needs some help with his anger and I'm the only one who wants to help him with his problems, nobody else really wants to, or has the time to I suppose."

Nibbling at her lip, Willow relaxed in her chair and took a sip of her drink, relaxing her even more as she did so, she was glad that she was able to have some time with a friend like this, she enjoyed it very much when she could do things like this.

"I think that very few families are like that any more." Willow smiled gently "Or I would like to think so anyway, I know that I'm probably being a bit of a wishful thinker, but, opinions change, maybe eventually their views will."

Markuz didn't like the sound of this Gervais... People with anger issues are ALWAYS dangerous. He had learned that through experience. But Willow probably knew what she was doing. Hopefuly.

"Very well, but if I may give you one piece of advice, be careful. People who have anger issues are potentially dangerous at ALL times. But you are responsible enough to make your own decisions."

Markuz drank some of his beer. He had to agree with Willow. It was improbable that people were still hanging onto the whole pureblood superiority spiel. There simply weren't enough of them any longer.

"Yes, you are probably right. Still, who knows what goes on behind closed doors?" Markuz joked.

Willow knew only too well that anger sufferers were often violent, she had been given her fair share of bruises and broken bones over her relationship with Gervais, it was why she had moved in the first place after all, to get away from him, but now he wouldn't leave her alone, so she may as well help him.

"Oh I know that." she smiled gently "But thank you for trying to tell me anyway, I really do appreciate you looking out for me Markuz, if I ever get into trouble, I'll tell you, okay?" Willow smiled, happily, glad to feel like she was important.

Nodding her head a little, Willow bit her lip, the thought of what went on behind closed doors was a frightening one, after all so many bad things could happen when bad people enter their own homes.

"That's something that's kind of a scary thing to think about." she smiled sadly "So let's talk about something else, you have any plans for the summer holidays?"

Markuz grinned when Willow thanked him. It was nice to know that people appreciated him. Nodding when Willow said that she would tell him about any problems, Markuz spoke.

"Very well. I will hold you to that. And you are very welcome."

When Willow smiled, Markuz noticed that she seemed very sad. Both from the smile itself, as from the rest of her body language.

Trying to think of a way to cheer Willow up, Markuz was glad when she offered that way herself. Summer plans... He didn't really have those...

"Gladly. But I don't really have summer plans to be honest. Study, maybe travel a bit. I have nothing scheduled, so it will depend on if anybody might need me or if I can simply let my holiday be led by impulse. What about you? What are your plans?"

Willow, when she heard that Markuz didn't have many plans for the summer smiled gently, she didn't have many of those either but she hoped that she would be able to take Leopold and show her home town of Rostov, to him. Of course that would depend if he was busy with his detective business.

"Well I'm hoping to go back to my home town to spend a few days there, but that's about it for me, just taking time to be with Leopold and my father." she grinned.

Taking another sip of her drink Willow placed it back on the coaster and curled herself up into a small ball, getting quite cold now that the evening was wearing on, maybe they should like the fire or something? She thought idly.

"Anywhere you want to travel to in specific? Any country you've always wanted to go?"
