Scoping It Out (OPEN)

"Cool."Melody wondered if he used a spell to make himself sound better but he probably wouldn't risk letting her go back stage if he did,besides he would probably be more concerned about money and fame if he was like that and she was here for free unless this was going to end up costing her her life or something.

Kaspar grinned and he placed the guitar strap around his shoulder and gave a small strum on his guitar, as soon as he played a note the guitar burst into flames, that did nothing but tickle his skin when he started to play a few riffs of his latest song he would be playing tonight.

"See? One of my favourite spells is setting my guitar on fire, I mostly use fire spells in my shows, it makes for agreat visual effects, cheap as well." he grinned with a wink "Why spend all the money when you can just use spells instead, and they look better!"

With a small smile he gestured to his second guitar; "You want to try? It doesn't hurt, just tickles."

Well he certainly didn't look burnt or anything.Careful Melody put on the guitar.
"Well I've never even held one a guitar before but OK,"she answered and she strummed a key."It does tickle."

Kaspar grinned. The effect of the spell was all that he wanted to show his audience. The visual was not as important as the audio to him after all. When she told him she'd never even held a guitar before he tutted,

"Now that's... that's just sad!" he joked with a fake pout, "Every child should at least hold a guitar!"

He laughed lightly,

"Yeah I've had to stop myself from laughing at some points."

"Maybe it's good that thing I've never held a guitar before I could have turned out to the worst guitar player in the world.Well bursting into laughter would make your fans wonder what was so funny."

Kaspar grinned a little bit and he nodded his head, when he first started he was god awful, but then again he supposed everyone was when they first started something, it took time and practice in order to finally make yourself sound the way you wanted to.

"Everyone sounds awful when they start out, I sounded terrible. It was probably because nobody taught me how to tune my guitar though, I had to figure that one out on my own." he grinned crookedly.

With a small nod Kaspar hummed; "It kind of ruins the illusion that you are actually being burnt if they know it's just some sort of non harmful charm, they'd probably bottle me."

"Wow teaching yourself was probably really hard to do,"Melody replied thinking of how she had taught herself some stuff before going to Hogwarts."Being bottled sounds painful even if it isn't glass bottles."

Kaspar grinned a little bit and he nodded his head, indeed it was hard to do but it was very rewarding at the end of it when he managed to finally learn to do the songs that he had been setting himself to learn, and when he wrote his first peice of music, words couldn't describe.

"It was hard to begin with but, I really do think that it the most rewarding thing when you finally manage to learn the peice you have set yourself." nodding his head, Kaspar chuckled, he had never been bottled but, hopefully he never will "Well they've made a new law or something that glass bottles aren't allowed in venues any more, only plastic ones. They don't hurt as much I reckon."

"I guess people can do a lot of stuff when they motivate themselves to do it.That's good at least then if you ever get bottled you won't be seriously injured."

Kaspar laughed to himself and he placed his guitar back on the holdster for it, letting the flames die out so that he could use them on stage instead, it was getting close to the time that the stage would be fully set up and he felt his pre-show excitement kicking in.

"I would hope that I'm never that rubbish that I have to be bottled but, meh, that's true." he smirked to himself "Did I ask you if you played a musical instrument yourself? I might have done and just forgotten, I'm a little bad like that."

Kaspar shook his head with a small chuckle. Yeah his most often asked question and he had even asked it! Maybe this was what getting old was like... wait! He was still young damn it! Much too soon to think about that kind of stuff,

"Well I guess I must have forgotten..." he mused before smirking, "Well... do you play an instrument at all?"

Kaspar tilted his head to one side and he couldn't help but chuckle lightly, so she was bitten by a gnome so she had good musical talents? He wondered breifly if he had been bitten by a gnome as a child, and then he dismissed the thought when he remembered he had grown up wrapped in plastic bubble wrap.

No way would a leaf have ever been allowed to touch him, let alone a gnome, something that could actually do him some harm.

"Well thats some impressive array of talents there Melody!" he grinned "I wish I had learnt to play some sort of elegant music, it would come in handy when impressing the ladies." he joked, waggling his eyesbrows a little bit.

Kaspar chuckled lightly and shook his head, it was something that really did impress ladies, but only on a very shallow level, it was hard to hear that they only wanted to be around him because of the fact he was a hot lead singer of a popular band, that was why he often wanted to play something far more meaningful and less flashy than a guitar.

"Well, it does, but not in the way that I've come to want I'm afraid, although, I do have a special lady in my life...or did rather, perhaps I still do I just don't know where she is." he sighed.

Kaspar raised his eyebrow, although it was a good idea it was something that he had thought about a million times and it still didn't make him feel any better, it made him feel like he was useless and that he wouldn't be able to protect her...baring in mind she was probably old enough and wise enough to protect herself.

"Maybe she is." he muttered, her statement having struck a sore spot with him "But how am I supposed to know, she never told me anything."

Kaspar managed a small smile and he nodded his head he thought that it would be the best thing in the world to see Tamara again and he hoped that he would do, the problem was making his emotions under control when he did see her, he knew he would most likely become a sort of wreck in front of her.

This wasn't very good for his manly appearance, and he only hoped that she would understand, given the situation.

"Yes I hope that I see her again soon as well." he smiled gently, then looking at the clock he started "Oh geez I'm going to be late for the show! If you go and wait outside the door, I'll just get changed into my show costume and I'll come get you in a bit."
