DADA lesson 2, year 4

Lucia walked into her classroom, sitting down at her desk. Things had been beyond hectic lately, and she hoped it would change, and that quickly. She waved her wand and the chalk started writing on the board. 'Protego Maxima' it wrote. She looked up as the class filed in.

"Hello everyone! Sorry that I wasn't there for your first lesson of the year," she said calmly, knowing that several of the students here had lost many of their friends, just like the other years. She then put on a soft smile. "But today we're going to learn a very strong shielding spell called protego maxima. Can anyone tell me the severe effects of these shields?" Lucia asked her class.

Lucas entered the classroom and sat on one of the seats. He saw Professor Henley, who he heard was the original teacher for Defense Against the Dark Arts. He listened carefully to what she said, and raised his hand to answer.

"Protego Maxima is a stronger version of Protego. When it's cast with the spells Fianto Duri and Repello Inimicum, it makes an almost impregnable magical protection barrier," he said.
