DADA lesson 3, year 2
Lucia walked into her classroom, looking around, seeing that none of the students had come just yet. She looked at the clock and smiled; it was still ten minutes to go. She walked over to her desk and looked into her drawer. She took out some papers and placed them on each desk around the room.
She waved her wand at the board and the word 'Aguamenti' was standing there. She sat down behind her desk and waited for the students to arrive.

"Hello Professor,"Melody said as she walked in.She sat down and wondered why all the teachers had stopped writing stuff on the black board.

Lucia smiled when Melody walked into the classroom. She then found that it was time to start the lesson. If people were late, it was their problem.
"Good morning miss Lovegood," she said kindly. She then pointed to the board where she had written the spell of the day. "As you can see, we will be focusing on the spell 'Aquamenti'. What can you tell me about this spell?"

"It's a charm that conjures a jet of clear pure water from the caster's wand."

Lucia smiled. "Correct. Five points to Ravenclaw," she said with a smile. "Now, I want you to soak that paper in front of you with water, but make sure you use only a very small amount of water. Otherwise, you'll ruin the paper. It takes a lot of concentration to do this, so make sure everything on your mind is wiped and only the spell is in your head. It is pronounced 'Aqua-MEN-ti'," she said.

It wasn't easy to clear her mind her time at Hogwarts had given her so much to worry about but somehow she managed to. Thankfully she managed to use the spell correctly.

Lucia smiled as Melody managed the spell. "Splendid! Ten points to Ravenclaw! Now, I want you to write fifty words on your favorite creature that lives in water for the next time we meet. Please send it to me in an owl," Lucia said kindly, "Class dismissed."
