DADA lesson 1, year 3

Lucia walked to her first lesson in DADA this year. She was smiling, very happy. She had missed teaching over the holidays, like usual. But this year, she would make sure she would be stricter. She had been a decent strict last year, but this time, she'd be more forceful, she'd pressure the students more. They always acted more then.

She walked over to her desk and waved her wand at the blackboard. The word 'Bombarda' appeared on it. Then she waved her wand at the books stacked and she sent them out over the classroom, one on each desk. She then turned back to the desk and sat down, waiting for the students to show.

"Hello professor,"Melody said before sitting down.

Lucia smiled when Ms. Lovegood walked into the classroom and took a seat. "Hello to you too," she said kindly. She then waved her wand and three dummies appeared in the classroom.

"Today, we'll be practicing the spell Bombarda," she said calmly, "Do you know what this spell does?"

"Yeah,the spell provokes small explosions."

Lucia smiled. "Indeed you are correct," she said, "Five points to Ravenclaw."

She then walked over to one of the dummies. "Now, I would like you to use this spell on this dummy. When you've managed to blow the entire torso off, I want you to move on to the next dummy and use the spell 'bombarda maxima' and see the difference for yourself. If you succeed at this, you'll earn ten more points for your house," she said.

"Go on then," she said and leaned back, watching the Ravenclaw.
