Lesson Three - Fifth Years Empty Lesson Three - Fifth Years

Post by Richard Romain Sun Sep 09, 2012 12:49 am

Richard sighed a little bit as he paced up and down in front of his desk, frowning hard as he did so. The situation with Briony was getting worse. She was getting darker and darker. The ball was the lightest thing she'd done for awhile now and it was getting to be a problem. Richard was going to have to take action, to change her back to how she had been.

Lesson Three - Fifth Years Empty Re: Lesson Three - Fifth Years

Post by Charlotte Smith Mon Sep 10, 2012 5:35 am

Charlotte hurried to her class, she thought that she was going to be late! Ever since her break up with Airen, she had felt mixed emotions, and on top of everything else she had wanted little more than to snuggle up in the Slytherin Common room and sleep.

It seemed to be the only time that she wasn't worrying about her best friend, and now ex boyfriend. Charlotte hoped above all else he wouldn't chide and shun her now, after all, she cherished him dearly as a friend.

Distractedly she took out her equipment and looked idlly at the lesson topic on the board, not really in the right frame of mind for lessons at this moment in time.

Lesson Three - Fifth Years Empty Re: Lesson Three - Fifth Years

Humphrey walked into Transfiguration, eager to begin the lesson. Professor Romain had made the class pretty interesting, at least he thought so. He was starting to look forward to these lessons more and more.

Taking his seat, he noticed that Charlotte seemed to be upset about something. "Are you alright?" he asked her quietly. Then he took out his things and waited for the lesson to start.

Airen entered the classroom. He had been a bit bummed out by the break up between him and Charlotte, but he remembered their first year. Specifically, a certain promise he had made. Now not being one to break promises, he decided that, although he still had feelings for Charlotte that went beyond that of best friends, he would be there for her still.

He sat down in his usual seat next to Charlotte and sent her a warm smile, signifying to her that he was still her friend. He took out his notes and got ready for their class. This semester was going to be different to say the least.

Lesson Three - Fifth Years Empty Re: Lesson Three - Fifth Years

Richard looked out over his class and was a little disappointed at the size of it. He had hoped against hope that there would be more pupils in his lessons after the winter break but they were the same size as ever. To this end he decided to make quality over quantity the name of the game,

"Alright class we're doing a quiz." he told them simply, "Ten house points to the person who can tell me what temperature gold melts at. You'll need to know this as transfiguration students as it cannot be transfigured."

Charlotte smiled when she saw Airen come into the classroom and sit next to her, it made her think that she wasn't all on her own after all, and that he did still want to be friends like she had suggested when they had talked about their relationship.

Hearing the Professor ask a question she took a moment to think about it, before raising her hand and answering in a confident manner;

"1064 degrees c?"
