Lesson Four - Second Years Empty Lesson Four - Second Years

Post by Cobalt Smith Tue Jul 24, 2012 4:52 am

Cobalt wandered into the lesson with a small yawn, a cup of coffee in his hand as he made his way to the desk to await the arrival of his students. Rolling his neck to loosen it, Cobalt sat down behind his desk. Putting his coffee mug down on the desk he reached into one of the drawers in his desk and removed a jar, covered by a red cloth so that nothing of the inside could be seen. Cobalt calmly went back to sipping his coffee.

Senium wandered into the lesson, albiet a little stiffly, and she looked up at the professor with a small smile on her lips, she was very happy to be back in lessons once more, and she hoped that the lesson that she was in today was going to be interesting.

Over the years she found the topics getting more and more interesting and she knew that it was most likely going to get more challenging when she started third year, but she was looking forward to it.

Marylin waltzed confidently into the classroom, of course she knew that she was going to be able to master all of the material in the lesson today, she didn't even know what it was and she knew that she was going to be able to accomplish everything that they were taught.

Flipping her hair back from her face, she surveyed the student and the professor with a warm eye, a light smile on her lips as she placed all of her stuff neatly on the desk in front of her, waiting for the lesson to begin.

Cobalt could see that his class seemed to be the calmest class he'd ever taken. It was rather strange if he was honest.

He pulled the cloth off of the jar to expose what it contained. It contained several of the products know as decoy detonators. He withdrew one before letting it go. A few second later it exploded loudly and with an awful lot of smoke, to get the attention of his students,

"Can I have your attention please!" he called out, "Can someone tell me the name of the delightful product that just made you all nearly jump out of your skin?"

Senium jumped a little bit when she heard the explosion that was beginning the smoke attack that Professor Smith had started, coughing a little bit she ran her hands through her hair and tried to stop the smoke from going into her mouth.

As soon as the smoke cleared Senium bit her lip at the question and she didn't really know the answer but she thought that she had better take a guess;

"Some sort of smoke bomb?" she asked, a little unsure.

Lesson Four - Second Years Empty Re: Lesson Four - Second Years

Marylin coughed when the smoke began to explode across the classroom and she wiped it from in front of her eyes, holding her robe in front of her mouth to stop the horrible soot going in her mouth and making her choke.

Really it was very irresponsible for someone, especially a professor, to do this in order to gain the classes attention, maybe he wasn't as adept as she thought that he was in the first place.

Hearing the other girl answer, Marylin, rolled her eyes internally, what a stupid and obvious answer to give, but on the outside she merely smiled and raised her own hand;

"I think they're decoy detonators Professor Smith."
