DADA lesson 3, year 4
Lucia walked into her classroom, looking around, seeing that none of the students had come just yet. She looked at the clock and smiled; it was still ten minutes to go. She walked over to her desk and looked into her drawer. She took out some papers and placed them on each desk around the room.
She waved her wand at the board and the word 'Levicorpus' was standing there. She sat down behind her desk and waited for the students to arrive.

Lucas entered the classroom and sat on one of the seats, sighing. He looked up at the board and took his textbook out, for some extra reading on their lesson. As he read, he waited for class to start.

Lucia smiled as Mr. Woodham walked into the classroom. "Good morning," she said, "Today we will be learning the spell 'Levicorpus'. Can you tell me anything about this spell?"
Re: DADA lesson 3, year 4
Lucas stood up once the professor asked the question. "Well, Levicorpus is intended to be a nonverbal spell, and it hoists the target into the air and dangling upside down," he answered.
He sat down once more and waited to see Professor Henley's reply. He did hope he was correct; Gryffindor was tied with Ravenclaw at the moment, and he wanted to gain some more points for his House.

Lucia smiled. "You're completely right, Mr. Woodham, five points to Gryffindor," she said kindly.
"Now, I want you to try to perform the spell at the dummy in the corner. It isn't a very difficult spell, though it will take some focus. It is the easiest nonverbal spell there is. Then, when you're done, I want you to point at the dummy again and think the spell 'Liberacorpus'. After that, if the spell works, you may leave and write me a fifty word essay on what happened when you used liberacorpus and what you learned from this lesson," Lucia said. "If all this is done, twenty points will be awarded Gryffindor."
