Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Lesson One - Fourth Years

Post by Richard Romain Sun Oct 07, 2012 1:50 am

Richard frowned a little bit as he sat down behind his desk, trailing his fingers along the wood to feel it, to admire the tecture of it. There were a few marks on the wood that he didn't actually recognise. Perhaps the clearner had hit it when working during the summer? He didn't much care though. The marks would add character to it, making the whole desk more of a part of the room than a piece of frunature.

He chuckled lightly to himself as he moved round to sit in his chair, resting his arms on the desk itself.

Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Fourth Years

Post by Marylin Mason Thu Oct 11, 2012 2:30 am

Marylin sighed a little bit as she made her way to her lesson. Her holidays had been boring and, largely, annoyingly unproductive. But there was nothing to moan about now since the lessons were starting, meaning the holidays were well and truly over for another year. Hopefully they'd be interesting the next time around.

Moving into the classroom, she moved to his desk to wait for the other students and the professor's cue to start learning. She nodded to the professor,

"Good morning professor."

Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Fourth Years

Senium gritted her teeth as she fought to make her way to her lesson. Good god she hoped they weren't going to be doing anything too practical. Not only were her joints stiff but they felt like they were on fire too. Not to mention she'd taken a few pain-relief potions for them and was beginning to feel a little light headed.

Groaning a little bit, she half-sat, half-collapsed, into her chair and merely waved at the professor.

Lesson One - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Fourth Years

Post by Nicholas Cathin Thu Oct 11, 2012 3:05 am

Nicholas sighed to himself as he put on a bright smile and walked towards his lesson. He longed for the day when he could act like he normally did. How he wanted to act all the time. He was getting sick of having to hide behind a fake smile. He wanted people to see the real him. But they wouldn't understand.

So he sat down in his seat with a cheerful smile and waved to the professor,

"Good morning professor."

Richard was getting a little bored waiting so he decided that this would have to do as far as attendance was concerned. Fortunately the students who were here were all hard-working, and all from different houses which might make this more competative,

"We're going to have a small quiz for the first lesson back." he told them simply, "You will win fifteen points for your house for every right answer. Now... who can tell me the component parts of an atom of an element?"
