Lesson Two - Fourth Years Empty Lesson Two - Fourth Years

Post by Richard Romain Sun Oct 21, 2012 12:50 am

Richard frowned a little bit as he sat down behind his desk, trailing his fingers along the wood to feel it, to admire the tecture of it. There were a few marks on the wood that he didn't actually recognise. Perhaps the clearner had hit it when working during the summer? He didn't much care though. The marks would add character to it, making the whole desk more of a part of the room than a piece of frunature.

He chuckled lightly to himself as he moved round to sit in his chair, resting his arms on the desk itself.

Lesson Two - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - Fourth Years

Post by Marylin Mason Thu Oct 25, 2012 3:21 am

Marylin walked swiftly into the potions lesson, she didn't even know why she bothered to come to this place any more, she had her own business and it was very successful, she seemed to have underestimated the laziness of some people who couldn't even be bothered to brew their own potions and would rather have someone else do it for them.

With a small sigh she sat down at her desk, pulled out her things and waited for the lesson to begin, with a thoroughly bored expression on her face, wondering where Nicholas was, she sighed again, and waited for the lesson to begin.

Lesson Two - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - Fourth Years

Lucas entered the classroom and found a Slytherin girl in there. He muttered a "good morning" to the professor as he sat a few seats away from the girl. He sighed and organised his things while waiting for the lesson to begin. Lucas took out the book for the class and sighed once more, hoping the lesson would start already.

Lesson Two - Fourth Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - Fourth Years

Nicholas yawned a little bit as he wandered in the classroom. He was late but right now he was too tired to much care. Besides, if he lost points that was no skin off his back. He didn't much like his house anyway at the moment.

Sitting down at his desk he made no attempt to acknowledge the professor at all, merely resting his head on the table.

Richard looked out at the class and frowned slightly. He thought he had more pupils than this. Shrugging it off as a problem that he wasn't going to be able to tackle today, he nodded to those of the class that still remained. Grinning slightly, he took a piece of chalk and wrote on the board,

"Surprise pop quiz!" he told the class with a small smirk, "But let's make this interesting shall we?"

He moved round to the front of his desk, where he sat down and smirked at the class,

"For every correct answer you gain your house twenty points. For a wrong answer... your house loses forty." he chuckled, "Someone tell me... what metal does a philosopher's stone let you transmute lead into?"

Lucas immediately raised his hand. He wasn't very sure if he was going to get the right answer, but he hoped he would get the right answer. Jeez, forty points. "Uh, pure gold...?" he answered uncertainly. His hands were sweating, he really hoped he got it right.
