Elliot felt himself turning red at how she kept looking at him. Rhian had a very intense stare and as she lowered her gaze he sighed. How could he possibly decide everything if she didn't have an opinion as to what could happen.

"Calm down" he found himself uttering.

She really needed to calm down, her blurting out more and more things simply confused him more than anything. He felt himself getting anxious at her comments.

"Just...calm down." he repeated. "you're making this more complicated than it needs to be. Maybe until after you decide what you do want, then maybe we can be more. You, you need to voice yourself or else, this will never work."

Rhian's stomach was twisted in knots. She knew she complicated things sometimes. She'd learned to overcome it, for the most part, in her academics, having to catch up so much in two years at Hogwarts. But it hadn't helped her learn to do so with people. She was lucky that she'd had Aria to satisfy her small need for companionship at the time.

Trying not to grip his hands, she ran on thumb along the back of his hand, trying to calm and ground herself. She closed her eyes and tried a few deep breaths. She may look like a nutter for it, but it always helped clear her head.

After a minute or so, she opened her eyes slowly, mind clear. "I really liked kissing you." She fought her usual urge to worry her bottom lip. "Could we try that again?" She felt the heat raise in her cheeks, but she wanted to be clear.

Elliot let her try to get contact with him. He admitted that all of this gave him a bit of a headache, at how she just managed to take a simple action and complicated it so hard that his mind could no longer understand it.

But he knew that Rhian felt apologetic for driving him in circles of confusion. He chuckled at how she said it so softly and in a moment of silence.

"Well...I you did voice your needs" he murmured with a grin.

Leaning forward he kissed her softly ignoring the look of embarrassment on Rhian's face.
