Character Background:
Keiba was born in Australia, and lived there until she was nine. Close to her tenth birthday, her family decided to move to Ireland to be closer to some relatives, only planning to stay a few years before moving back to Australia. This was carried through, but since her letter had arrived, her parents thought it best that Keiba stayed in Ireland with her great Aunts and Uncles, for convenience, while the rest of the family moved back down under. She occasionally visits them for the holidays.
Keiba was always a straight-A (or mostly straight-A, when she was having a rough term) student and won many awards for Academic Achievement in her school. She wrote a lot of short stories, but never had them properly published. She has a soft spot for animals, especially cats and horses.
She hates seeing people hurt, and that is one of her biggest fears, apart from falling and the unknown. Seeing people tortured wrenches her heart and she can’t help but share their pain.
