The Thinker (OPEN) Empty The Thinker (OPEN)

Post by Lucian Ciero Thu Feb 02, 2012 1:15 am

Before Lucian had decided that he was going to join his sister in England once more he had taken a short break back in Germany, not like he missed it, but he had gone back there in order to try and see some of his friends...

Or rather, friend.

But he had tried to find her and there had been no trace of Aquila anywhere so eventually he gave up and wandered around the ghosts of old rusted ships in the ship yard, marvelling at their height and former strength while he thought on his own life so far.

It had been long, and most of it hadn't been worth noting...but there was a bit of it that he was proud of and he wanted more parts like that.

The Thinker (OPEN) Empty Re: The Thinker (OPEN)

Post by Aquila Wilson Thu Feb 02, 2012 7:32 am

Aquila enjoyed visiting the Die Werft, for she loved the boats, and she adored the water. Water was her most favourite thing in the world, and she often was drawn to it. Bored of sitting around in her bedroom with nothing to do, Aquila had just set off for a lovely little walk, and had found herself, yet again, by the water and the boats.

Aquila could feel that familiar feeling of happiness when her eyes drank in all of the water before her. It was like when she went to the beach and the smell of the sea filled her nostrils. She moved along the decks and down one of them, bending down once she reached the end. Her hand skimmed across the surface of the water, and she wondered if she should practice.

Her head shot up and her eyes darted around as she looked for anyone, and then she saw him. She had been under the impression he had gone back to Britain, so she was positive that it couldn't be him. But, it looked so much like him. Deciding that she would go and see, she moved along to where he was and came up behind him.

Aquila's mouth fell open as she realised it was indeed Lucian, and a squeak left it. It was very un-like her normal, sarcastic, withdrawn self but she couldn't believe he was here. She pretty much pounced on him and hugged him tightly.

Lucian sighed slightly and rested his head against one of the rusted boats and he opened his eyes when he thought he heard something coming from around the area that he was standing in.

Wondering what it was he tensed his hand around his wand and gave a small gasp as something wrapped it's arms around him and looking down Lucian blinked slightly and chuckled.

This certain thing was blonde, and it was a girl, and it was Aquila. After all of his searching they'd just met naturally, this is something that made him more than a little bit happy.

"Well hello to you too Aquila! Did you really miss me that much? I tried to find you everywhere you know, but I couldn't find you...so this situation is a little odd."

Aquila felt him tense, but when he looked down at her his body relaxed slightly and she quickly released him, realising she had probably looked nuts. Smirking up at him, she felt much better than she had before. Loneliness and boredom had been major parts of her life since the ship back home. And she had known they would remain when she returned to Durmstrang, for Lucian would not be there.

He looked sly and mischievous as always, and it made her smirk shift into a grin. When he said he'd been looking for her, she felt happy. He had looked for her? It made her heart swell with friendship, for she had not ever had a friend that cared about her that much before to actually seek her out. They had always just stumbled across her, and acted as if they really didn't care about her at all.

"I haven't had enough time to miss you." She chuckled and rolled her eyes. "I'm just surprised to see you... I thought you were going to England..." Her tone became quiet as she said this last bit, and she wrung her hands together. Trying not to look vulnerable by letting the hurt show on her face, she smiled falsely and answered his un-asked question.

"I've been holed up at home with nothing to do. Probably why you couldn't find me."

The Thinker (OPEN) Empty Re: The Thinker (OPEN)

Post by Lucian Ciero Thu Feb 02, 2012 11:57 pm

Lucian remembered what he had said at the end of year ball, and he had swiftly decided that the two friends that he had made at Durmstrang were enough to stop him from going crazy over the next few years that he was going to be there, so he might as well stay.

Clutching his heart Lucian wiped a tear from his eye and sniffled a little bit, obviously pretending to be upset but he wasn't really, it had only been a few weeks after all.

"Everytime Aquila, everytime you get me right here." he pointed to his chest and grinned slightly

When she mentioned the fact that she thought he was going to England Lucian smiled warmly, it was a little bit cute the way that she thought he wasn't going to come back.

"I did go to England, I'm going back soon after a week or so, just to be with Raziel, but you won't get rid of me that easily, I'm like a boomerang I keep on coming back." Winking he hoped he wouldn't get shot down, after all, he was counting on Aquila being a good part of his school life.

Gasping Lucian quickly struck a heroic pose with his fist in the air:

"Boredom? Holed up at home? NEIN! Super Lucian will stop the boredom!"

Aquila couldn't help her laughter as he faked sadness and pointed at his chest, proclaiming that 'every time' she got him right there. She rolled her eyes and patted his chest as well, a mock-sympathetic look on her face.

"Poor little Lucian, Aquila's sorry." She said in a baby tone.

Turning her head as the water lapped up against the deck, Aquila resisted the urge to go over there and practice on the water. It was a hard urge to squash, but hanging out with Lucian right now was more important to her. When she looked back at him, he held a warm smile on his face, and she returned it with her own smile.

"Oh?" She raised an eyebrow with a wide smile. "That's good, for you of course, because I like boomerangs." Aquila winked back at him.

Aquila clapped her hands to her mouth when he struck his heroic pose and called himself 'Super Lucian'. She couldn't help it though, she doubled over in laughter, clutching at her stomach as she did so. Finally, after several moments of gasping and choking on air, she straightened herself up and wiped a tear of laughter from her eye.

"You are just too much, Super Lucian." She teasingly patted him on the head.

Lucian grinned, it seemed as if Aquila was letting her guard down around him now and it was really quite refreshing for him, to have someone who was there for you as a friend, it was something he had very rarely had.

"So you should be, my little heart can't take it I say! It can't take the pain!"

With a small chuckle Lucian caught the glance at the water and smirked, did she want to go swimming or something? He hoped not because he hadn't brought his trunks and he was not getting into his underwear.

"You like boomerangs huh? Well that makes up for the hurt that you caused me moments before, it's nice to know that I'm liked. Even if me at this point in time is a wooden instrument."

Blinking a little Lucian looked at Aquila as she bent over in laughter, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment he laughted nervously with her and wondered if it was actually that funny.

"Hey are you alright?" he asked concerned as she began to choke but when she spoke again he smirked and ran a hand through his hair "I know, but I'm fantabulous, so you'll forgive me." he winked.

Post by Aquila Wilson Sat Feb 04, 2012 1:55 pm

Aquila rolled her eyes at him and grinned happily. "You're hilarious." She said sarcastically with a chuckle.

The wind brushed her hair into her face and she tucked it back behind her ear in annoyance, wrapping a hand around her hair as if her hand were a hair tie, so that the wind couldn't push it around. She notice that he also glanced at the water after she did, and she flushed lightly.

Aquila laughed at his comment, shaking her head.

"That's not what I meant at all. I do like you, silly. If I didn't i'd be making nasty, sarcastic comments 24/7." She went sort of quiet towards the end of the comment.

His laugh was nervous, and when he asked if she was alright, she nodded and grinned. When he said he was 'fantabulous', she cuffed him over the back of the head and snorted.

"Yeah, sure, we'll go with that."

Lucian chuckled softly and nodded his head, he knew how funny he was, after all he made ladies laugh, he had made Aquila laugh just then and it proved that he was a little bit funny, but also that he was confident enough to act the fool.

"I know I am, thank you for agreeing with me on that point."

His hair swooped back from his face with the wind and Lucian saw that Aquila was having difficulties of her own so he smiled and plucked a hair from his head, turning it into a ribbon.

"Here, for your hair, so it doesn't get in the way of your lovely eyes, but more importantly so it doesn't annoy you any more." he grinned.

With a small chuckle Lucian realised that Aquila had stopped being so sarcastic and he had stopped trying to charm her all the time, surprisingly it was working okay.

"I'm glad that you like me, otherwise id have to be friends with myself, and as wonderful as I am, that gets a bit boring."

Pouting and rubbing his head Lucian said childishly: "There's no need for abuse!"

Post by Aquila Wilson Sun Feb 05, 2012 9:18 am

Aquila rolled her eyes at him, his obvious confidence in how 'fantabulous' he was made her want to laugh, for it would've been annoying to most girls. But, to her, it was fun. She already considered Lucian a close friend, and that was quite a feat to accomplish.

"Mhhm. Dear me, Lucian, looks like we'll have to take lessons on sarcasm." She said in a 'tut, tut' voice.

Aquila blinked out of her daze when his hair swooped about his face, and she hadn't noticed before but he was very attractive. It made her head spin slightly at his wind blown hair, but she shook her head once and that train of thought left her head.

Her eyes widened as he pulled a hair from his head and with relative ease turned it into a ribbon, adding a compliment as he handed it to her. She took the ribbon and tied it around her hair in a low ponytail, satisfied as it held her hair nicely and she let her hand fall back to its position by her side.

"My lovely eyes? Why thank you, Mr. Charmer." She grinned.

Aquila held back a sigh as she realised he was quite a charmer after all, even without trying. Although, it could be because she was letting her guard down a bit and he was breaking through her walls, but this thought made her suddenly withdraw back into her shell, keeping up a friendly façade but not being open and ready to spill her thoughts like she had been moments ago. Sarcastic comments came to mind, but she held back on using them.

When he said about being friends with himself, she rolled her eyes but didn't comment.

"Alright, alright im sorry, princess." She threw his 'nickname' for her back at him like she had done their first meeting.

Lucian grinned slightly and pouted, it seemed that there was no twisting what she has said in a good way, but he didn't kind being sarcastically attacked az long as she was having fun doing it.

"Well you're the sarcasm Queen, maybe you'll just have to give ne a few pointers on it."

Smirking slightly Lucian wondered why Aquila had shook her head but decided to leave it be, purely because it was probably something to do with the fact her hair was in her eyes.

Glad she had taken the ribbon Lucian shrugged his shoulders lightly.

"I'm not being a charmer, I'm just telling the truth, being a charmer doesn't really work on you I have to say, you just hit me." he stuck his Tongue out at her with a grin.

Lucian pouted and wiped a tear from his eyes as she called him a princess: "Thank you I'm just the prettiest girl at the ball aren't I?"

Taking another glance at the water Lucian walked over to it slowly and stopped for a moment to give the impression that he was just looking out over the water at the view. Instead he bent down and scooped some up, throwing it at Aquila.

"Water fight!"

Aquila poked Lucian in the chest at his pout, and smirked at his comment in a wicked way.

"Damn straight." She grinned at him.

Aquila could feel the blush on her cheeks reddening when he looked at her in confusion at the way she shook her head, and she mentally pinched herself. She was being ridiculous, of course Lucian was attractive but she needn't think about it. She really just wanted a friend, not a crush.

Aquila smiled softly at him, before laughing.

"How sweet. And im sorry about hitting you, I just couldn't help it, you're so darn hittable." Aquila stuck her tongue out in return.

Aquila snorted with laughter and shook her head lightly. "The prettiest of all." She said in agreement, grinning.

Aquila followed after him as he walked over to the water, holding back on pushing him into it when he dent down to peer at it, but the resistance in her died quickly when he splashed her, and an evil grin appeared on her face. She made out that she was stepping towards the water to splash him, but quickly she spun to face him and pushed him into the water with the most evil smirk she could muster.

"Water fight indeed."

Lucian rubbed his chest where she poked and pouted again, he didn't really mind at all but it was a little bit odd how she kept hitting him, maybe it was just her personality, after all, his sister hit him a lot, but always in a nice way like Aquila.

Pouting slightly wider Lucian raised an eyebrow and turned it into a smirk:

"Well then, I'm hittable am I? Is that a good thing or a bad thing? But you can hit me if you like, just not the face, I need that!"

With a small smile Lucian thought about himself being so immasculine like he had just been, if anyone had been watching they could think that he was gay...of course he wasn't.

"Gah!"

He gasped as he was suddenly pushed into the water and splashed into it, his trousers getting totally soaked and the rest of him besides, turning around to glare at Aquila Lucian touched his hair. It was wet.

"Ohhhh it's on! You just totally ruined my hair!" he joked and kicked some water up onto Aquila.

Pxyis rolled her eyes at him and resisted the urge to cuff him over the back of the head again, instead resting her hand on her hip as she cocked an eyebrow at him.

"Are you sure you want to keep it?" She teased.

She liked how relaxed Lucian seemed around her, it made her bring down her walls slowly again, come back out of her shell instead of retreating and hiding in it. It made her feel like she was a person that someone actually liked, someone actually wanted to hang out with.

She snorted with laughter as he touched his hair and complained about her ruining it, before splashing water up on her. She didn't mind. She kicked off her shoes and sat down with her legs dangling in the water, splashing water on top of his head with a laugh.

"Heaven forbid someone ruin your hair."

Lucian gripped his face as if protecting it and poured through his fingers at Aquila, nodding slightly and daring to lower his fingers away from his face lest he be slapped anyway regardless of his protection efforts.

"Of course I want to keep it! How ugly would I look without a face? Nobody would want to kiss me then, unless Someones allergic to handsome faces."

Grinning wolfishly and obviously joking Lucian watched as Aquila sat down with her feet in the water and he swam over to the side, deciding to stay in the water now he was wet.

"Hey this hair takes two minutes to do in the morning, that's a long time for a guy, anyway, you like my hair, you have to admit it."

Lucian winked: "You excited to be going back to school?" he said sarcastically.

Aquila rolled her eyes as he covered his face with his hands and she patted his im a patronising way once had lowered his hands. As if she would slap him.

"You my friend are an idiot." She informed him in a joking tone. "No, but honestly as if i'd hurt you that bad." She shook her head at him with a raised eyebrow.

Aquila looked over at him as he swam over to her and she giggled as he told her how long it took him to do his hair in the morning, and she pushed his head under before letting him bob back up.

"Alright, I do like your hair, but honestly it takes me a couple of seconds to do my hair in the morning. I brush it and put it up in a ponytail, done." Aquila laughed.

When he mentioned school, Aquila's face paled and her stomach was filled with nervous butterflies. Instinctively, her hand went to her still red wrist from the other day when she had been buying her school robes and run into an old... enemy. "Er.." She mumbled.

Lucian grinned slightly and shrugged his shoulders when Aquila asked if he really thought that she was going to hit him, of course he didn't think that at all, you just couldn't be too careful around women, they were often violent if you said the wrong thing.

"Well, I just wanted to be sure, women can be violent creatures sometimes, especially the sarcastic ones, but it's nice to know my face is safe around you."

Sticking his tongue out Lucian smirked before gasping as he had his head popped under the water and glared at Aquila as she allowed his head back up and he could breathe once more, he didn't like not being able to breathe.

"Oh really? Looks like you don't even bother to do that in the morning." he joked with a wink "Jokes jokes, you could never tell you don't spend long on your hair."

Lucian raised his eyebrow and looked at Aquila, he knew she didn't like school but this was a completely different reaction to what he had from her before, and he moved his gaze over to her wrist that she was holding.

"What's the matter Aquila? You haven't sarcastically assulted our school yet...what's up with this wrist? Let me see?" he said in a tone that although was questioning, was more a command than anything.

Aquila went to protest that women were not 'violent creatures', but as she thought about it, the comment made sense. No, women did not punch each other, but they were very good at slapping, pinching, biting, pulling hair and scratching, nevertheless she smirked when he mentioned his face was safe around her.

She leant in closer to him with an evil grin and whispered in his ear.

"Don't be so sure."

Aquila snorted with laughter at him as he let out a gasp whilst she pushed him under the water, glaring at her once he was allowed back up to breathe.

"Couldn't resist." She said in way of explanation.

Aquila raised her eyebrows at his compliment and grabbed a bunch of her hair, pulling it in front of her face to examine it before letting the curls bounce back into place.

"This mess? It looks like I just got out of bed." She grumbled.

Aquila frowned at him, contemplating whether she should show him her wrist or not, but reasoning with herself that he'd see it someway or another, she displayed it to him.

Post by Lucian Ciero Thu Feb 09, 2012 7:24 pm

Lucian couldn't help but shudder lightly as Aquila whispered evilly into his ear, it really was evil, and this was coming from him, he knew all about evil, and smirking he tried to brush it off with no more than a fake shudder and a pout.

"Come on! You love my face! What would you do without this face in your life? You'd cry. That's what."

Rolling his eyes Lucian cupped his hands and threw some water up at Aquila, aiming for her face but not knowing if it would get there or not, hopefully it would hit some part of her though, otherwise, he would look pretty stupid.

"I just couldn't resist that either. Seems as if there's a case of that going around."

Splashing a little in the water, Lucian did a backwards roll and surfaced again with a smirk on his face, he really didn't think that anyone could be as insecure as Aquila, but then again, he should have known some women were like this, he'd just not really talked to many.

"Well this is just me, but I think it looks just lovely. Kinda, that curly look that people are going for these days, wavy...I don't know the right word."

Lucian frowned, and looked again at Aquila's wrist it looked painful: "How did this happen?" he asked in a soft voice.

Post by Aquila Wilson Sat Feb 11, 2012 10:07 am

Aquila smirked at the shudder, seeing right through his fake pout. Obviously, Lucian didn't appreciate showing a girl that she had thoroughly disturbed him, but Lucian didn't know how evil Aquila could get when she put her mind to it. This made her smirk widen slightly.

"Don't be oh-so-confident, Lucian. Did you ever think i'd be happier without your face in my life?"

She said in a joking tone, acting as if it was one of those terrible soap opera's that she'd been forced to watch with her mother, who had quite taken a liking to muggle TV shows. Just the very thought of said soap opera's made Aquila shudder and wince in disgust.

When he threw water up at her, she leant back quickly. Her finger twitched, and she had to restrain herself from swipin the water away. She knew that would be a weird sight, and so she let out a squeal escape her lips as water splashed all over her shirt. Swiping for his head, she hit him again after he had spoken.

She clapped for him as he did a backward roll with a patronising smile on her face.

"Such a clever boy, ain't ya?"

When he spoke of hair again, Aquila laughed and ruffled his lightly. She didn't like discussing hair, even though it was all the rage with girls these days. She didn't understand what the big deal was, it just sat on your head and did nothing whatsoever.

Aquila sighed, not sure if she should tell him how it had happened. Deciding to go with a lie, she devised a story quickly in her head.

"Err, I was worrying the other day about.. stuff and I have this habit of twisting my arm with my other hand when I do it. It's nothing." Aquila informed him.

Lucian pouted even more and hung his head slightly, he was of course only pretending to be upset and he really wasn't fazed at all but he was a little bit curious as to what her opinion on his face actually was...

"Awww come on, don't you think that my face is nice? Not even acceptable? Mediocre?"

Unable to stop laughing at the squeal that escaped Aquilas lips as she got splashed with the water Lucian chuckled to himself almost none stop and wished that he could have taped that.

"Hehehe you screamed like a big gir-OW!"

Scowling Lucian rubbed his head where she had hit him and pouted again, crossing his arms across his chest.

"You're so violent Aquila. But yes. I am a clever boy."

Lucian raised an eyebrow and looked once again at the wound on Aquilas wrist with a frown on his face, he took another hair out and turned it into a ribbon, thicker than the last one and put it around around her wrist.

"That will heal in a moment."

Aquila smirked as she poked his cheek, mock-inspecting him with a slight frown as she turned his face this way and that. She tugged at his ear lightly, and pulled at his cheeks, laughing internally.

"Nope. It's terrible. Absolutely terrible how perfect that face is."

Aquila said with a sigh, patting him fondly on the head as she leant back against the deck.

The curly blonde haired girl glared at Lucian as he laughed at her squeal. While he was distracted with his laughter, Aquila focused on the cold feeling in her stomach and smiled evilly as it spread through her body. Waiting until he dipped his head with his laughter, she flicked her hand up and envisioned her minds hand pushing the water behind him up, before splashing it all over him. Watching as this happened, Aquila burst out laughing and let the coldness sweep away.

"I know im violent, it's what you get for knowing a girl that has awesome skills."

Aquila informed him with a smirk. She rolled her eyes as he proceeded to call himself a clever boy, but decided to hold back on any rude or sarcastic comments. She didn't want to scare Lucian away now, he was her only friend.

She watched as Lucian turned yet another stand of his hair into a ribbon, and a soft smile appeared on her face as he wrapped it around her wrist. The simple gesture had made her walls crumble and tumble down. It was nice to know that he cared. Deciding to change the topic, Aquila splashed at the water with her feet for a moment, before settling on a topic.

"Seen Violeta much?" She asked with a wink.

Lucian let Aquila move his head this way and that and he really didn't mind, it must have looked hilarious but as long as she was happy that was all that mattered to him. Sticking his Tongue out Lucian stuck his nose in the air and made a 'Humf!' noise.

"People these days, wouldn't know perfect if it bit them on the butt!"

When suddenly he was once more covered with water, Lucian growled slightly and pouted, he was always getting abused when he was around her, although he'd accepted it as Aquila's brand of love.

"Awww why did you do thaaaat?" he asked in a childish voice "Now I'm going to be all cold when I get out of the water."

Raising an eyebrow Lucian snorted: "Awesome skills indeed."

Aquila mentioned Violeta and Lucian shook his head with a slightly confused look on his face. He didn't think he had done anything wrong but Violeta hadn't talked to him much at all.

"No, just once, and not for very long either. It's...confusing, I just hope that I didn't do her any disservice."

The Thinker (OPEN) Empty Re: The Thinker (OPEN)

Aquila rolled her eyes and let out a sigh of mock-exasperation as she waggled her finger in his face. She admitted to herself that he was very close to perfect, but she was most definitely not an ego-booster.

"Mhhm, sure. Whatever you say, Luci,"

She smirked at her new nickname for him. It was an english girls name, which made it all the more funnier. Aquila laughed at his pout, shaking her head as she clutched her sides. He was completely drenched in water, and looked ridiculous with a pout on his face.

"You were going to be cold anyway, I was just making you suffer. I'd warm you up, but I can't really do that without my wand now can I?"

Aquila yawned and tapped her hand to her mouth. This lack of movement was making her sleepy, so she slid into the water beside him and ducked down underneath it. She used her magic to move the water apart around her head, and laughed at the feeling. Though it was through gritted teeth, for this required a lot of concentration. She took a deep breath under the water, and let it collapse around her head before swimming back up to him.

"I'm sure you didn't. We girls just have our moments of 'back off' I guess. Nothing you did, little Luci."

She reached over and patted him on the head, before climbing out of the water. The breeze that had cooled her before was now un-welcome.

The Thinker (OPEN) Empty Re: The Thinker (OPEN)

Post by Lucian Ciero Wed Feb 22, 2012 11:40 pm

Lucian almost whacked his face in frustration on the ship hull next to him when she decided it would be a good idea to call him Luci, he knew that his name could be taken like that but he had hoped that it would have escaped Aquila's attack, he wasn't so lucky.

"A..ha...ha...ha...you're hilarious with your nickname."

Pouting a little more when she looked as if she was laughing at him, Lucian just looked down ashamed of himself and couldn't believe that he was actually funny in this state, it was a good thing, but unexpected none the less.

"Well you could come and give me a hug but you know, don't want to make this awkward, I know how much my body and face offends you." he stuck his tongue out at her and grinned wildly.

Lucian watched as Aquila slipped into the water next to him and raised an eyebrow, now both of them were going to be pretty cold.

"Awwwh now you're all wet too..."

Rolling his eyes Lucian grinned some more and nodded his head, agreeing with Aquila, after all he had been around girls long enough to know that sometimes, they just did not want to know, like...at all. "Yes yes I know it's nothing I've done, I mean look at me, I can do no wrong."

Lucian smirked: "You're all cold now."
