It's a sabotage! (Open)

As Cobalt was laying out the last of the explosive potions he had to wonder something. Something that had been bugging him ever since he first got given this sabotage mission. It wasn't that it was a sabotage mission, he'd done many of those before, but that his target... was a large ship.

What wizard used a god-damned ship?

Shaking his head and sighing behind his mask, Cobalt snuck away from the few guards to a safe distance. He was dressed in dark robes with a hood that covered most of his face in shadow. To be safe though, Cobalt was wearing a mask. The mask was a simple thing that covered his whole face, one side tragedy and the other comedy. He held his wand upright and flung a small spark of magic at the ship.

The potions caught fire and the ship exploded violently, most of it then beginning to sink into the water.

Jonathan was having a very peaceful night at home until he got a owl saying that he was needed at the shipyard because apparently someone had thought to blow up a ship. The note didn't say whose ship it was only that there was a mess and his assistance was needed.

He finished what he was doing then apparated into the shipyard. Except where he landed was a mess, there was pieces of ship everywhere.

He was looking around at the mess, he wondered what would cause someone to blow up a ship. But then he had an idea. Looking around he thought he spotted someone in dark robes off to the side.

Jonathan disillusioned himself and decided to to sneak up behind the guy. Walking around behind the guy he slipped up behind him with his wand in his back.

Jonathan was not sure who this guy was or if he was behind things but you could never be too safe.

"What do you think your doing here?"

Cobalt, having been a spy and assassin for many years, was not oblivious to the man's approach as his relaxed attitude assumed him to be. No, on the inside he was ready to pounce, his muscles coiled tightly as he readied himself to burst into action. He turned to the man, so that he could see the comedy side of his mask, mockingly pulled up in a perpetual grin,

"Watching a ship burn." he replied simply, in english, "Is there a problem with that?"

He chuckled a little bit and pulled his hood down slowly, so that the man wouldn't get jumpy on him. Turning, he face the man, tilting his masked face to the side,

"Tell me... what is your name?"

Jonathan was surprised a little by the clear accented English that the man spoke. So it was clear that this man was from his home country. He lowered his wand a little, but still on guard.

"Yes it is always interesting to watch something you don't own burn." Jonathan said with a smile

Jonathan thought about it for a moment when he asked him his name.

"JB is the name for the most part, what about yours." Trying the best way to right up in the report he was going to have to give.

He noticed that the man lowered his wand slightly and smiled faintly beneath his mask. The man was either very confident or he was not willing to fight him. Either that or it had escaped him that their two countries were now officially at war,

"Yes..." he agreed before, apparently, absently tilting his head at the burning ship, "You like my work? It wasn't too hard actually... just some potions really."

Cobalt nodded his head in recognition of the man,

"Pleasure to meet you JB..." he chuckled faintly, "You may call me Kage. It means shadow after all. Looking to report this incident are you?"

Looking over the damage that this man who is calling himself Kage has caused.

"Yes, you have done an excellent job. Like I said if your going to do a job, best to it right the first time." Jonathan laughed as he keep looking at the damage.

"Of course I have to make a report it is my job." Jonathan stated plainly.

"At least now I don't have to report on something that I had done." Jonathan looked at the man then smiled.

Cobalt grinned behind his mask and gave the man, JB, a friendly pat on the shoulder,

"Thank you..." he chuckled as they watched the remains of the ship sink, "It's always nice to know that my work is appreciated."

Cobalt clucked, report writing really sucked,

"I do not envy the report you will write on this event my friend." he paused before remembering something, "If it helps, the sailors aboard the vessal are all tied up in a parking lot a few minutes walk from the wreck."

Cobalt chuckled,

"Yes it is so much better when it's someone else's work." he shrugged, "Makes you feel as if you're not doing two jobs at once right?"

Jonathan could not help wave bye to the ship as it sank the rest of the way into the harbor. Good thing there is magic so this will be a whole lot easier to clean up.

"Thanks for letting me know about the sailors, that will make life a little easier." Jonathan looked around he thought he had heard something. Then noticed a rat running around the floor. Shot a spell at it " Petrificus Totalus"

Looking at the froze rat "You can never be too careful around here" Jonathan picked it up and placed it in his pocket.

"Yes, I will have to agree some days it is hard to preform two jobs." Jonathan nodded his head in agreement.

"Well I guess I should get over to the guards with the paperwork." Jonathan thinks real quick about what to say in the paperwork

"Next time a little heads up would be appreciated, what do you think?" Jonathan asked
