First Year's Carriage! (OPEN!)

The whistle blew as students filed onto the Hogwarts Express. Jaycie was sure she wasn't the only ecstatic first year on her first trip to Hogwarts. Dumping her overnight sack in one carriage, she flopped down on the seat, staring out the window as the train began to pick up speed. She wondered who she would meet at her new school, if she actually talked to anybody.

Jaycie had spent the majority of her last week at home skimming the text books she needed, just so she would have a vague idea of what school would be like. Her mum had told her stories about Hogwarts and it made it sound so fantastic. She really couldn't wait until she got to school. It was going to be fun, that was for sure.

I was nervous as always and with my cat Jinxy following me I managed to find a compartment.I got out Hogwarts:A History and decided to read it to pass the time.I hoped that I would be a Ravenclaw as I would fit in better with people who were likely to love studying and reading half as much as I did.
