Lesson One Empty Lesson One

Post by Deito Dozvettes Fri Feb 17, 2012 5:42 pm

Deito entered the classroom, which he hadn't changed from it's prior state of whimsical-entitlements. Meaning the desks were still purple-ish and most were pedestals and podiums of some sort and the bookshelves were now statues of dragons and gargoyles that he'd let Adrynn paint a ruddy color for fun. He leaned back in his chair and fixed his clothing (a white tee-shirt under a pair of black suspenders and a red bow-tie along with jeans and boots) while his daughter slept snugly in a hammock hanging from the two statues. When class begun he stood up.

"Welcome back students and welcome to new students. This is Duelling! I am Deito Dozvettes and I am your Instructor respect me and my class. Now most of the time we'll be in the practice room. Save for now which I'll be doing a quick spell intro and all the boring stuff I hated." He paused and let out a huff of breath.

"Our spell of today is..." he patted his legs as he leaned against his desk to make a drum-roll motion. "Offense! We'll be learning about the spell Prosterno! In Latin the word means destroy and let's head into the practice room." He opened the door with flourish and a lopsided grin.

Duelling was the class that Erik had been looking forward to the most. The instructor didn't look how he expected him. Erik had been envisioning some gigantic, muscle toned, hulk. Trying not to judge a book by it's cover, Erik eagerly followed the professor into the practice room.

Keaira walked into the classroom looking at the teacher. She was surprised to see someone so ... funky... being the teacher. She then followed him into the practice room, wondering about the spell.

She liked the fact that they would start so quickly with using wands. She really wanted to learn some more spells. She then leaned against a wall, waiting for more instructions.

Myles walked into the dueling classroom it was one class that he was kind of looking forward to. seeing his sister he quickly went and stood next to her for he did not want to be on his own still he felt a little bit at ease though with Professor Dozvettes which was a little strange.

Ella followed everyone into the practice room. The instructor certainly wasn't what she would have expected, but she'd learnt by now that expectations were changed constantly. So she smiled at the skinny teacher and waited for him to teach them the spell. Learning it got the butterflies jumping in her belly, but that was the best part. Ella enjoyed being excited.

Seeing as she already knew Keaira and Myles, and there was a boy from her own house looking like a loner - excited, but still a loner - she decided she would introduce herself. "Hello there," she said, walking over. "I'm Ella-May. I think we're in the same house. It's nice to meet you," and she extended a hand for him to shake.

Erik smiled at the other Geschick student in the class so far. "Erik Herrmann" he introduced himself, shaking Ella-May's hand. He had seen her around the common room but hadn't had a chance yet to meet the girl.

"What do you think of our dueling professor? Not what I thought he'd look like." Erik whispered as they waiting for the lesson to begin.
