First Year: 2nd Lesson: Emptying Emotions Part II of III
Gaspard waited in his classroom, and this time it was filled with desks and chairs, even his own desk for him, various posters of famous wizards like Harry Potter, Merlin, Albus Dumbledore, Draco and Narcissa Malfoy and Severus Snape and dark famous wizards Voldemort, Gellert Grindelwald, Bellatrix Lestrange, Bartemius Crouch Jr.
The classroom looked like a classroom. And Gaspard was fully aware of that, he had done that on purpose.
Only a few minutes for his class would start, sitting on his desk, his wand was out, every now and then he would tap on the desk and a few flames would come out.
Things would be getting interesting...

Tessa was led into the classroom by Yasmina. She then stood there waiting for class to start.

Gaspard stood up, "Good day Miss. Grey, here let me help you." Making his way to her, he guided her to a chair and a desk, "Here you go, Miss. Grey. Just a couple of minutes and I will be starting class." He told her already walking to his desk.

"Good day Miss. Jones. I didn't see you in the last class. Did you bring the 5,000 word essay about blocking one's emotions, I asked for? I expect every student who didn't come will bring it and will serve a hour of detention in my office, starting Saturday morning."

"Very well then, would you mind giving it to me, Miss. Jones?" Gaspard asked her while looking over his notes, marking some and some not.
"Don't worry girls, I at least need some two more students to enter, and class will begin, if they don't make an appearance, we will begin." He said while writing something on his muggle notebook,

Xander walked into the class, thanking Merlin he wasn't late again. He had already handed in his essay to the professor and was wondering what this class would hold.
It looked different with the desks and posters. Even though he had missed the last class, he recalled the room being practically empty. He took a seat, feeling as if something wasn't quite right. He had learned that teachers never did anything here unintentionally.

"Mr. Clarke, good to see you, please take a seat. I see you noticed the change of the classroom. It's a method of teaching that is excellent, I was taught when I went to Durmstrang, very effective, I say." He said to him and the rest of his students.
"I will change many things. Teaching something constant is not good. If all goes well, maybe next class we can go outside and empty our emotions. Real life isn't about blocking an enemy when things are quite or peaceful, yes it might happen, but not very often. There will be things to distract you, and you have to be able to block anybody while being surrounded, let's say a battle between a Kragen and a Bulgarian Dragon."
Standing up straight, he told them, "Please stand straight, I want to do a simple exercise, with you all. Close your eyes, breath deeply in, hold it for a few seconds, then let it out. It will help us with emptying out emotions..."

Re: First Year: 2nd Lesson: Emptying Emotions Part II of III
Xander had been practicing this. A lot. At first he had a hard time blocking certain feelings out. It was as if his mind was afraid to let go of things, even for a short time, for fear that they might not be there when he came back.
After reconciling with himself that he simply needed to compartmentalize he did better. He simply let things fall away for a while, safe with the feeling that they would be there.
As he stood among his classmates, he put that practice to use. Setting aside the usual problems of school and thoughts of girls...a girl. After one last calm breath out, he was free.

Tessa was still sitting there. She then let her hands drop of her side side as she started to try and not feel anything. Once she done it she knew all the hours of practice has paid off.

Gaspard began to walk around the room, looking at his students, nodding at them.
He could feel that they were empty.
Waiting for a couple of minutes, to see if they could stand being empty. He stood in front of the classroom.
One minute passed.
Then three minutes.
Finally seven minutes passed.
He wanted ten...
Looking at his watch, he grinned. Ten minutes, excellent.
"Well done, everybody, you can open you eyes now. I'm impressed. "Miss. Jones I'm glad to see that at your first try you did pretty well, try to stand more straight, if you will. Mr. Clarke I like the method you are using, keep on using it. Miss. Grey, as before well done."
Now he wanted to see if they could block me.
"So now that we're done, does anyone want to try to block me?" He questioned.
He could feel that they were empty.

Gaspard smiled.
"Excellent, Miss. Jones." He said while taking out his wand.
"Legilimens!"

Anne tried to remain empty of all emotion, numbness was good. Her mind somehow stayed blissfully blank. She could not feel the professor there.

Gaspard couldn't enter her mind, but at the second minute he pushed harder and suddenly he entered.
They weren't memories, per say. More like things, as if he was seeing something blurry that wasn't there, that almost didn't happen....

Anne could now feel the professor in her head, he was seeing one of her visions, the one of her mother being murdered. Panic filed her. Then suddenly she went still and fell, a new vision filling her head.

Gaspard stopped immediately. "Miss. Jones, calm down, your safe, nothing is going to happen." He said assuredly. Gaspard would have a talk with her, about helping her with blocking her visions.
Looking around he said, "Class is over, you all did a great job. Keep emptying your emotions and I'll check with the Headmistress if we can take next lesson by the lake."
"Oh and Miss. Jones, I need to speak with you."

He shook his head, "That's alright, Miss. Jones. Your not in trouble, I actually was wondering if you'd want me to tutor you, teach you another method of teaching just so you can block your visions. Are you interested?"
