Detention (The Sweeney and Agne)

Agne trembled as she waited outside The Sweeney's office, not unlike the way one does when stepping outdoors during winter without a coat. Her fists were clenched tightly at her sides, little bits of her skirt caught up in them. Tears burned her eyes but she refused to let them out, it had been her fault after all, so of, not really. They should have issued a map! Agne felt a tear sliding down her cheek and wiped at it furiously, biting her lip as she did so she hoped it would stop, self loathing settling in her bosom.

Raven heard a knocking on her door and she knew that it must be one of the girls from her first year class, picking up her wand, Raven lazily waved it to open the door while she still sat on the desk.

In her hands was an old pocket watch, it's face was smashed and it's frame twisted but there was a beauty in it's fragmented broken form that Raven couldn't help but love.

Looking up from the watch for a moment she flicked her wand to push the girl into the classroom faster than she was walking and slammed the door after her.

"Hello child, tell me why you're here."

Agne jumped when the door snapped open, she half screamed when she felt herself being pulled into the room. Her heart was racing, her head was light and she was terrified. She froze when 'The Sweeney' asked her why she was there. After a moment a wave of relief washed over her. "B-because I was late to class Ma'am..." she said hanging her head still holding to the hope that the skull and attitude were just for show.

Raven couldn't help but cackle as she heard the scream come from the girls throat, the scream was so like the ones that she had made so many others make, so like the ones that she herself used to make when she was in that place....

Muttering nonsense under her breath Raven stood up, holding the Doctors pocket watch with a limp hand, a razor in the other.

"Give me a reason why I shouldn't add your Tongue to that collection over there?" she asked, the skin around her lips turning black as she tapped into the wraiths power.

Raven had felt her old self slipping away, now it was time to change that.

Agne was seized with an entirely consuming and indescribable fear. Her mouth fell open, not a sound emerged, she closed it. Tears rained down her cheeks as her mouth bounced open and closed several times in this manner. Her stomach was in knots as bile rose in her throat. She wondered if mother and father knew how teachers were allowed to treat their students here. Her heart thundering in her head she turned and bolted for the door, she wasn't going to stop running until she got home.

Raven smirked lightly as she saw the girl run for the door, it was shut however and she would have to open it herself, which she did do, and she waited until she was almost at the door to say what she was going to say to her.

"That. Is the right answer." Raven grinned "There is no reason, so it is always best to run around me. You never know what I might do."

Standing up Raven placed the pocket watch back on the pile of cracked and broken clocks, pride of place and smirked at the child:

"Make sure you're not late again."

Agne nodded her agreement as she tore through the halls blindly. Her heart racing she had made up her mind to write mother and father at once, maybe they would bring her home.

Raven couldn't help but chuckle lightly to herself as the girl turned and continued to flee away from her, it was what she expected, and to be honest if she did anything different Raven would be seriously worried about herself and if she was feeling quite up to scratch.

Humming lightly she opened the hidden panel in her office and was greeted by the sounds of screams from those held captive within, not that the Doctor knew of course, he wouldn't be very happy with her if she did, although, these things were not far off from what the Doctor had done himself. Shutting the panel behind her, Raven sighed contendently and set to work.
