Lesson Three - First Years Empty Lesson Three - First Years

The Doctor whistled a little bit as he waited for his first year class to arrive. To his right there was a small table with a collection of little wooden boxes, like jewlery boxes, ready to be used in the lesson.

Lesson Three - First Years Empty Re: Lesson Three - First Years

As Annika gathered her things for Ancient Runes, Emmi came up and tried to climb on her shoulder as had become her habit the past year. As homesick as she was getting and as much as she would love to take her to class she tossed the ferret pelt and sent Emmi on a short flight to the bed. "I told you sweetie I can't take you to class. I promise a long walk in the forest this evening as soon as I get through with my evening meal. We can hunt for fresh creatures for you to eat and stretch my legs. Now I really need to go."
Walking down the corridor to her Runes class, she was hoping that what she had done for class would get her through. She had never seen runes before and found them fascinating. Mama would say that she found everything 'fascinating' and she guessed it was true.
She heard a quiet whistle upon entering the room and looking toward the front of the class she saw her, in her humble opinion, attractive professor with some very curious looking items on the table near him.
" Looks like it's going to be an interesting one today. Glad I'm here early, want to sit in the front row", she thought as she hurried to take her place, trying on to look too long at the professor.
Quickly she opened her bag and began leafing through her things. Embarassed

The Doctor looked at and yawned again, covering his mouth quickly. Shaking his head to clear it, The Doctor smiled happily, if a tad goofily, at his student,

"Hello!" he greeted her happily, "Today we're going to be doing something a bit more fun if you'd like that?"

He grinned and held up a pair of paint brushes,

"Today I'm going to teach you a prank!" he stuck his tongue out, "Just don't use it on me, I'll know it was you."

Annika startled as the professor stuck his tongue out. Not at all what she thought was a teachers expression, more like an overgrown boy. But she couldn't help but giggle a little. "What ever you say professor. I just didn't think 'prank' was one of the runes. At least I didn't see it in my book. Could you explain what prank means. I'm a bit perplexed." As she watched him her giggle came back and she found herself wondering just Who this professor really was. This was turning out to be a very 'fascinating' day after all. Laughing
