Lesson three
Jay had decided to cover some of the risks in becoming an animagus for this lesson. It was important that his students knew what could happen should they wish to try without becoming properly trained. He had several pictures of deformed wizards in various stages of transfotmation.
Some of them were cute, like the wizards that had cat years and whiskers, others not so much. One of the had only managed to transform his head into one of a bull.
One witch had shark teeth, another man had wings instead of arms and feathers instead of hair. The last picture the wizard had earned a crocodile tail.
He waited until all his students were properly seated to begin. "Good morning class. Today we will talk about what can go wrong while trying to become an animagus"

Re: Lesson Three
Alexandra walked to Transfiguration, she hoped she wasn't late she walked inside and saw the professor she gulped silently and sighed. She sat at the back of the class as normal, When she saw what class was going to be she smiled a bit she wanted to be an animagus but she shrugged.

Keaira sat down in the front of the classroom, and paid attention when the lehrer said that they were going to learn about the wrongs that could happen when trying to become an animagus. Keaira didn't really care; she had no intentions of becoming one herself, but she paid attention nonetheless.

Re: Lesson three
Agne rushed into the classroom. Her toe caught the leg of a chair and spun landing on her rear her papers and books scattering across the floor. As if being late wasn't bad enough she now made a fool of herself, again! She glanced nervously around hoping to see Ella-May, she'd made the last class a bit more bearable. Agne spotted Alexandra and scooped up her things she scurried head down to sit beside her. "Hi again..." she muttered sourly. "What are we doing?"

Terry noticed that there were a couple different people than he remember last time in class. Making it into the class he was ready to get started, he really wanted to learn to be an animagus.
Once he got into class he went over and sat by Keaira and took out his notes so he would be ready to discuss the subject.
"I hope your feeling a little better." Terry said to Keaira because he she she had not felt good in their last class.

Marianne sat down in the front of the classroom, and paid attention when the professor said that they were going to learn about the things that could go wrong when transforming into a animagus. Marianne needed to focus since she planned on becoming one when she was old enough whether her parents liked it or not.

Melissa was excited for Transfiguration because they had been learning about becoming an animagus and that is what she wanted to do. Walking into the classroom she noticed there was quite a few people so she found a seat in the back of the classroom and waited for the class to start.

Casey walks into the room and noticed that they were doing animagus, which she didn't want to become. She was already enough of a animal from being a vampire. Casey sits down next to Melissa and zones out.

Re: Lesson three
"As you can see" He motioned to the posters behind him. "Becoming an animagus is not something that is easily done. First, you never know what kind of animal you're going to become. Some wizards get quite disappointed when they turn into something they had not thought of." He smiled.
"I for once have a friend that refuses to use his ability after training so hard. He was the best duelist in my year and we trained together for several months. But when he turned into a white rabbit I'm afraid he lost his interest." He chuckled.
"Even the most fierce wizards can turn into adorable animals, and you don't get a say in it. The magic inside each one of you is the determining force." Jabbar waved his wand and new posters began to float in front of the class. "These are some of the greatest wizards in history and their animagus forms."
"Gregorian Wolfe, the creator of the Wolfsbane potion" He motioned to a short man wearing red robes and watched the wizard assume the form of a red fox. "Sirius Black, the first wizard to escape Azkaban" He pointed to the second picture as the man turned into a black dog. "Illius Deskmor, greater of a lot more curses that I care to mention" The third man that appeared to be from the middle ages turned into a frog. "And many others" Jabbar didn't bother to introduce the others as many of them had attended this school and should be noted in the History books.
"Now, can some on tell me what determine a person' success during the transformation. What is the main thing that one needs in order to accomplish the change correctly?"

Jay smiled noticing a hand up. "Go ahead, Ms. Hawthorn. Tell us what you know" He leaned against his desk and waited for his student to speak. He liked when the students talked, it made the lessons more interesting and insured they were paying attention.

Re: Lesson three
Agne turned to look at her friend, she really hoped that she would get it right. Agne on the other hand had no idea what the answer could be, and after seeing what could go wrong wasn't entirely sure that she even wanted to consider transfiguring anything!

Re: Lesson three
Alexandra gulped getting nervous " Umm they need the proper training for one, and second if their personality matches this certain animal, that's the animal their going to transform into" Alexandra said hoping she got the answer right. But she knew she more than likely, got it wrong.

Re: Lesson three
"Yes, in a way that is correct. But just because you didn't turn into the animal you expected doesn't mean you were unsuccessful" He looked around the room. "Does any one else want to try?"
"Your training is very important but even with training one can still end up like one of these guys" He motioned to the posters with with half transfigured people"

Re: Lesson three
Missy looked over when Casey sat down next to her and gave her a smile. Then Missy shook her head knowing that Casey was zoning out of the class.
Then Missy had looked around the room and decided she might has well do something the sit her and twiddle her thumbs.
"Sir, I believe the most important way to start is mediation and concentration. These happen with proper training." Missy sigh not really sure if she was correct, but that is what she was thinking.

Re: Lesson three
"Very good!" Perhaps we was more exited than needed but he didn't care. "Concentration, if you can't concentrate on something for a long period of time, you can not become an animagus" He wrote the word on the board.
"That is the main reason why the training takes so long. The material covered in the training could be covered and two weeks but most people get distracted easily and that's the main cause of getting yourself stuck mid transformation" Jabbar walked around. "Of course, with time and practice it becomes something easy" He quickly transformed into a crow then back to human. "But the first twenty times are the most dangerous transformations one will ever have."
"83 % of all animagus accidents happen during these first twenty transformations, which means to those of you that want to become animagus that you tend to get careless" He looked at his class. "Out of these 20 transformations, the last five are the ones people mess up, not the first or the second"
"People get careless, they think they can do it easily because they've done it fifteen times before with no problems, they relax and... they have to be taken to the hospital because of that" He smirked remembering that he was the only person in his class not to end up at the hospital.
"Any questions so far?"
