Lesson Four: Second Years Empty Lesson Four: Second Years

Post by Jessica James Mon Mar 26, 2012 7:03 pm

JJ strolled into her class room. It was only her second lesson teaching this class. She didn't know them very well yet. She hoped she could get to know them better before the year was done. She thought it would be a bit fun to do a bit of a history lesson in her class.

She walked to the board and wrote 'Slug Vomiting Charm' She had after plenty of work descovered a way to reverce this charm. She had it ready at the moment. She was planning to have the stundets try on her. Not wanting to hurt them in any way.

She sat on her desk after glancing at her class list and waited for her class to arrive.

Keiba calmly made her way to class, knowing she was early, but still half-surprised, half-pleased when there was no one else there. She grinned and put her bag beside a desk before glancing up at the board. She pulled a face. "I don't want to have to vomit up slugs!" she said to herself.

She noticed they had a new Charms Professor. Hmm. She wondered what had happened to the old one... he was quite a sport. She hoped this new teacher would be just as fun, as Charms was one of Keiba's favourites.

"Top o' the mornin', Professor," she saluted with one finger, a devilish grin on her face as she slid onto a desk.

Airen entered the classroom. He looked around and noticed what was on the board. He thought that maybe their was a counter spell that reversed the effects, but he hadn't read anything about it.

"Salve (Hello), Professor," he greeted as he took his seat at the front of the classroom.

Zara casually walked into class. As she did so, she noticed Keiba already there. Making her way over quietly, she tapped Keiba on her right shoulder and moved to sit at a desk to left of her. "Over here, Keiba!" she said, giggling at her friend. "Morning, Professor." she said looking up at her new charms professor.

She noticed the words "Slug Vomiting Charm" written on the board. Ew. This class is going to be interesting. Zara was hoping she wouldn't have to endure vomiting up slugs for the lesson.

Victoria walked quickly into class, not wanting to miss anything. She was hopeful of the new teacher, thinking she seemed nice, but wondered if she would stay. The previous lesson had been rather fun.

As she took her usual seat, she saw what was written on the board. Grimacing a little, she opened her text book, looking for the page. Victoria was as uncomfortable with the idea of vomiting as practice as anyone, but she had learned that this world was full of uncomfortable things one had to do. It came with the territory.

Parker made his way to the class at a slow, relaxed pace. While he never exactly disliked class, he didn't quite want to go or get there just yet. He sighed, knowing there was another knew teacher. He could hardly keep up with all the staff changes, and he really hated it. He had though that like in muggle school, teachers would be a basic form of stability.

Everything was already confused enough as it was, and he really hoped this supposed war they were in was not to blame. If anything at times like this, they needed to be able to count on their professors, always being there to help out and give them advice.

He walked in, talking a seat by himself. While overall he felt he was in a better mood, at the moment he didn't know quite how he was feeling. He set his bag on his desk, and hadn't bothered to look up to read the board.

Leshia walked into Charms class, she was so ready to have this year over. It would be so nice to let the next years fly by.

Once she got into the class she noticed that Keiba was there already so she walked over to her and sat down in the seat next to her. Looking at the board she wanted to gag. "Slug-vomiting Charm" yuck.

"Hay Keiba whats up?"

Keiba giggled and shook her head at Zara. "I'm too lazy. Sit there," she said, pointing to the seat opposite her desk. She ran her fingers through the end of her plait, and swung her legs.

Leshia sat down beside her and she looked up, smiling. "Hey, Lesh! Nothing much, just glad I could make the last lesson of the year. Yourself?"

JJ saw that most of her class was here. she smilled and looked at her students.

"Alright settle down. " She said with a smile. She didn't mind that they talked. She thought it was good. for them.

"Now today we are going to be learning about the slug vomiting charm. It's quiet amusing. However I don't think anyone would enjoy vomiting slugs for the rest of the day. So I made a slight modifaction on this charm." She smiled knowing thatthe didn't want to vomit slugs all day.

"Now the normal Incantation is Slugulus Eructo now adding this at then end will make it so it only does the light. Meaning that only a burst of green light will be seen if done properly. So the new incantation is Slugulus Eructo tantum lumen Please prtice with out wands then partner up. If you use the normal charm on your partner. You will have docked points and a detention. Clear?" She asked. Shhe didn't want any student to deal with vomiting slugs for the rest of the day.

"Now you may begin.' She called to her class. She wondered through them making sure they were doing it right.

Keiba at down properly in her seat when the Professor started giving them instructions. She was so relieved when they were told that they weren't actually going to be vomiting slugs.

Keiba laid her wand down on the desk in front of her and began chanting the incantation over and over under her breath. She picked up her wand once she was sure she was ready and stood up, poking Leshia. "Come on, are you ready?"
