Lesson Four (1st and 2nd Years) Empty Lesson Four (1st and 2nd Years)

Post by Sofia Slytherin Tue Mar 27, 2012 4:31 pm

Sofia took her normal spot in the middle of the floor to do her daily mediation. She had set a stack of papers by the door with a note that says take one. She had came up with the same idea for this class as she did for astronomy.

Please answer the following questions:

1. What have you learned this Year?

2. What would you like to learn in the upcoming years?

Sofia thought as soon as everyone got to class and wrote down their answers they could discuss things.

Lesson Four (1st and 2nd Years) Empty Lesson Four (1st and 2nd Years)

Post by Teresa Maria King Tue Mar 27, 2012 5:46 pm

Teresa walked slowly to the tower, looking outside through the window. She didn't notices she was there until she hit something, sending her tiara to the ground. She quickly picked it and put it back on.

She reached the Divination classroom and saw a note to take piece of paper from the stack next to it. She took one. It had questions.

1. What have you learned this Year? Teresa hadn't been here most of the year, so she decided to put what she already know about Divination. 'Seers are witches and wizards that are gifted for prophecies. It is rare and born with.' she wrote on the paper.

2. What would you like to learn in the upcoming years? That was easy. 'To learn how to use Cartomancy.' she wrote down/ Teresa really love cards, especially Tarots.

Lesson Four (1st and 2nd Years) Empty Re: Lesson Four (1st and 2nd Years)

Post by Haley Vilde Smith Tue Mar 27, 2012 5:47 pm

Haley walked into class and sat down in the front. "Good morning, professor," she said with a smile.

She then looked at the asked questions on the paper she had picked with her. Well, she sure as hell had learned to meditate, something she would be forever grateful for, and she would use that a whole lot in her future. What she wanted to learn? See the future in Crystal balls.

She relaxed while she waited for the rest of the class to come.

Lesson Four (1st and 2nd Years) Empty Re: Lesson Four (1st and 2nd Years)

Post by Victoria Rossmund Thu Mar 29, 2012 4:49 am

Victoria walked into class and quickly sat down to write the assignment, taking out her homework from last lesson as well.

I liked that we talked about alot of different topics that fall under divination. It made it seem like something everyone could be good at in some way.

I would like to learn more about tea leaf reading.

She really liked tea and it seemed an easy way to practice for class.

Agatha hurried in as she was late and had to go back to get one of the papers by the door.

I learned that not everyone is capable of seeing into the future. She wrote down.

I would like to learn how to use crystal balls. She smiled and looked around the class room.

Looking around the class she had noticed that many of the students were there, but she was still missing a couple students.

Anne Raised her hand.

"I learned that stress is an important factor for a seer. It can affect their visions. I find this information helpful because it will help me control my visions. I also injoyed learning this, because, I like being able to properly see what's in my future." Anne responded. She really liked knowing that info. It helped her quite a bit.

Haley smiled at Anne's reply, and then rose her own hand.

"I learned about meditation and how it calms the soul. It has already proven to help me in difficult classes like Transfiguration, because my focus is so much better, and it's also helped me a lot in Occlumency. It helps me on presonal stadiums as well," she added, her smile faltering a bit.

Meditation helped her ease her soul and let go of memories. She usually did it when the pain of losing her parents became too much. She cleared her mind a lot, actually, feeling she'd succumb to grief if she didn't.

Victoria raised her hand, hoping she didn't sound stupid.

"I really liked talking about all the different fields in divination. Some other classes are so black and white on whether people will be successful in them, but this class has so many areas that it seems like most students could find something they can do well."

At least she hoped so. She had only just joined this class the previous lesson and hoped to catch up soon.

Sofia smiled and was proud of what they were learning and that seemed very interested in what was going on.

"Very good, 10 points each. Now we much always remember before any type of divination that you will be doing, always mediate first, you must have a clear mind."

Sofia begin looking around the classroom "So does anyone have any specific questions I might be able to answer?"

Victoria meekly raised her hand.

"I know this may sound stupid but...would you mind reviewing some tips on meditation? I missed that lesson and feel that that would really help me in my other classes."

If Occlumency lessons ever picked back up, she figured meditation would be able to help her out alot.

Sofia smiled at Ms. Rossmund, she loved to teach children the tricks of her trade and love it when they asked questions.

"Of Course I would be glad to review with you." Sofia walked around the room and started to explain.

"The most important thing you must remember so need to have a favorite spot to do it. Some people like soothing music in the background, but then some need it completely quiet." Sofia took a breathe and continued.

"Deep breathing is a vital key"

Haley smiled and rose her hand again. "I was just curious; what are we going to do next year?" she asked softly.

She was really eager to learn more about divination and she really loved the subject, so she was extremely curious as to what they would do.

Haley nodded. "I would really love to learn to read palms and tea leaves, but my big fascination is the crystal ball, and I'd really like to find out more about that and hopefully succeed in seeing something," she explained.

Sofia was listening to Ms. Smith explain her part when she noticed that Ms. grey had come into class.

"Ms Grey that will be a 5 point deduction for being late to class." Sofia could not believe she was late. She was always the first one to class.

"Now Ms. Grey would you like to enlighten the class as to what you have learned this year?"

She knew that she shouldn't have gone up to the hospital wing and get something to keep her relaxed. Tessa knew that Professor Slytherin would be disappointed that she came into the class late.

" I know that we learned a little bit about the zodiacs."

Sofia had hoped to get a little more of an answer out of Ms. Grey but that wasn't going to happen. Looking at the clock it was time to go and she was glad she was ready for the holidays.
