Lesson One Third Years Empty Lesson One Third Years

Post by Jessica James Tue Apr 17, 2012 10:39 am

JJ walked in to her class room she had lost her voice so she wrote the instructions on the board. She read it over.

Hello and welcome to Charms. My name is Professor James. Now Please take a seat and read your book on page 5, Cheering Charm

I have lost my voice and can not talk so please I would like you to be as quiet as you can, so I can hear if someone needs help.

Now once you have read the text please practice the wrist movements without the incantation 5 time and then the incantation without wands 5 times. After that you may try them together on the feather.

If you have any questions please raise your hand and I will come to you.

She sighed and sat down on top of her desk.

Lesson One Third Years Empty Re: Lesson One Third Years

Pyxis walked into the classroom with a small smile on her face, as she greatly enjoyed charms. She looked at the board as she took her seat in the back of the classroom, and as instructed she pulled out her charms book, flipped it to page 5 and read about cheering charms. They were absolutely fascinated and she soon became engrossed with reading about them, her head resting on her hands as her eyes flitted back and forth over the page.

She got out her wand, and practiced the wrist movements five times without saying anything. After that, she placed down her wand and said the incantation five times. She then pointed her wand at the feather, said the incantation accompanied with the wrist movements and sighed. Nothing happened.

Airen entered the Charms classroom. He looked up at the board and read the message. He felt bad that the professor had lost her voice. He saw that he was the only one there except for Pxyis. He sent her a casual wave and took a seat at the front. He pulled out his textbook.

He flipped to page 5 and read the words in a casual pace. He was a bit of a brainiac at the Sowrdmage Academy, and that was due to the fact that he had a good memory for facts. The same applied here.

He took up his wand and began to practice the movement. On the fifth repetition, he pronounced the incantation to himself. Satisfied that he was saying it right, he said it to himself five times, When he was finished, he leaned forward, crossed his arms, and set his head into them. He reminded himself that at the first sound, he would wake up.

Lesson One Third Years Empty Re: Lesson One Third Years

Zara walked into class and saw that there weren't many people there yet. She took a seat in the middle of the classroom and read the words on the board. It was a shame Professor James had lost her voice. She looked as if she could use a touch of a cheering charm.

Taking her book out, she flipped to page 5 and began reading over the instructions. She practiced the wrist movements, followed by the incantation. She wasn't sure if she was meant to do it yet, but she decided to just give it a go. She pointed her wand at the feather and pronounced the incantation clearly, only to be disappointed. Maybe she wasn't quite ready yet.

Waiting for other students to arrive, she read through the book once more just to make sure she was doing it right, then practiced the wrist movements and incantation a few more times.

Lesson One Third Years Empty Re: Lesson One Third Years

Victoria walked quickly into class, not wanting to be late. As she took her seat and got her books out she noticed the directions on the board. She felt bad for the professor. Loosing your voice wasn't a fun thing. She wondered if it was for a magical reason. Witches and Wizards probably had some fancy medicine for any normal sickness that would cause that.

Having finished reading the section on the Cheering Charm, she practiced as instructed. When she finished the incantation parts separately she sat back in her chair and waited. She wasn't quite sure what was supposed to happen to the quill, so she raised her had.

"I know you can't speak, Professor, but maybe you can write on the board. What is supposed to happen to the feather if the charm works?"

Tabi slipped in late to another class, but this was charms so when she got into the classroom she noticed the big not on the board and went in search of a seat.

She saw Zara sitting in the middle so she decided to take a seat next to Zara and flip her book open to the cheering charms and she had to smirk

"I hope they can work on me," Tabi whispered to Zara "I could sure use one."
