Lesson 1 First Years

Angelus was glad that school was beginning because he needed something to do with his spare time. It will also keep his mind off of what happened over the summer. He had a very busy summer and had met a beautiful woman and almost lost her in the same breathe. He hoped that he could prove to Dani that he was a changed man.

He had worked a lot over the summer on his lesson plans and had many things to redo. He wanted to be a little more organized. Walking around the classroom he placed a Syllabus on everyone's desk.

Week 1- Introduction to History of Magic
Week 2- Ministry of Magic
Week 3- Aurors
Week 4- Azkaban Prison

Angelus went back and sat at his desk and waited for the students to arrive.

Senium walked into the classroom, albeit a little stiffly, and she smiled when she saw that it was her head of house that was teaching her for this lesson, she had never met him, but she knew that he must be nice if he was in charge of her house, and she also knew that he must be really smart, and this made her a little nervous to answer any questions, in case she got them wrong.

Sitting down at one of the empty desks at the front she sat down and she took out her parchment and quill, looking at the peice of paper on the desk and she smiled, it sounded like it was going to be fun this year.

Angelus smiled when he noticed that at least someone from his house decided to take the class this year.

"Well Ms. Nex, since its just the two of us at the moment, what call you tell me about the history of magic?"

Senium jumped a little bit as the silence was broken and she heard the Professor talk, when he asked her to tell him a little bit about the history of magic, she didn't really know what to say, there were so many things that she could bring up she didn't know what to choose!

"Well, there's lot's of different aspects on it, and different countries tend to focus in on their own history of magic, and it doesn't have to be 100's of years ago to qualify as history, there could be lots of different modern things that are within the span of magical history." she suggested "Is...is that okay?"

Senium asked, feeling a little bit nervous it being just her and the Professor.

Rassilion straightened himself out and took a deep breath before striding into the classroom hoping to look confident...Sadly this though was a very short lived experience as he soon took a tumble and ended up on his face.
He jumped up and quickly shuffled into a seat hoping nobody noticed following which he gave a few nervous glances over towards his professor and Senium.
"Why Do I always mess up my first impressions..." he sighed sadly.

"Good try there Ms. Nex. 10 points" Angelus noticed that another student had walked into class and appeared to trip over his own two feet.

Angelus walked over to the young man just as he jumped up.

"Well welcome to History of Magic, Mr. Everglade. Are you ok?" Angelus said to the young man with a smile on his face.

"heh..heh...Nothing I cant handle Mister..." Rassilion started thinking hard to himself trying to remember the teachers name.

"MOODY! mister moody sir!" he exclaimed a few moments later as the thought hit him.

"I hope I haven't missed much" he said looking down at the books he dragged out of a tatty bag a few moments before

Angelus had to smile at the boy, he reminded him a lot of him when he was that age.

"Nope you are just fine, come and join Ms. Nex and myself up front." Angelus smiled and then headed back

Once they had reached the front Angelus turned to both of them. "So Mr. Everglade, what do you know about The History of Magic?"

"It's always growing" he said with a proud look on his face enjoying moments when he could answer questions in ways in which he thought were rather deep and philosophical

He settled his books down and let his eyes gaze around the room taking in all that there was too see. He quickly came to the conclusion he was gong to rather enjoy this lesson and his time with his teacher

he picked up a quill and scribbled a few lines on a parchment before sitting to attention again

Senium tilted her head around when she heard someone come in, and smiled happily when she saw that it was Rass, the boy that she had met in the come and go room, gasping a little bit as he fell over she almost got up to come and help him, before she got a swift muscle spasm and she had to stop moving and calm herself down.

With a smile, she was glad that she wasn't the only person in the class anymore, she listened to Rassilion's answer, it was much better than her own she thought, short and sweet and to the point, but she was very glad to have earnt her house 10 points.

Angelus was very impressed with this new student he seemed very interested in what he was learning, Angelus also knew he was going to enjoy Ms. Nex too.

"Very interesting answer Mr. Everglade, why don't the two of you write me a 50 word summary as to how the history is always growing. give me your ideas."

Angelus was interested in learning what their thoughts and ideas were.

"Well until next class you two are dismissed."
