Lesson Three (First Years Empty Lesson Three (First Years

Post by Cobalt Smith Mon Jan 09, 2012 11:29 pm

Cobalt wandered into the classroom with a small yawn as he walked around to the back of his desk. Pulling the chair back, he sank down into the chair happily. Deciding to have the objective on the board, Cobalt waved his wand at the blackboard.

Lesson Three (First Years Empty Re: Lesson Three (First Years

Post by Charlotte Smith Tue Jan 10, 2012 12:40 am

Charlotte hurried into the classroom and was eager to begin the lesson, she loved these lessons because she was with her father and she knew that nothing was going to happen with regard to Corrine or other students being a pain.

Opening the door she grinned and ran into her fathers arms, hugging him softly and kissing him on the cheek before going to sit at her desk, a happy smile on her face eager to please her father and her professor in this lesson.

She would be good at this subject, disguise.

Lesson Three (First Years Empty Re: Lesson Three (First Years

Post by Cobalt Smith Wed Jan 11, 2012 3:44 am

Seeing that the only student to arrive was his daughter, Cobalt smiled a little bit more. This was going to be a good lesson now that he was sure that no one in the class was going to be annoying and ask stupid questions. Charlotte didn't do stupid questions, she was a smart girl. He grinned a little bit and silently locked the door with a charm as he sat on his desk,

"Hey Char-kitty." he greeted her informally now that they'd waited and were not joined by others, "You ready to learn how to disguise yourself?"

It was a bit of a bad joke but Cobalt continued to smile before yawning a little,

"But seriously... best way for a non-metamorphmagus witch or wizard to disguise themselves is which charm?" he winked at her teasingly, "Begins with G."

Lesson Three (First Years Empty Re: Lesson Three (First Years

Post by Airen Auditoren Wed Jan 11, 2012 1:07 pm

Airen hated being late, so when he found the door to the classroom locked, he felt extremely embarrassed. Sucking up his courage, he knocked lightly on the door silently praying that not many people were in there. This would not turn out well for him, but you never know.

Salina recognised the Gryffindor boy from many of her other classes, but she couldn't for the life of her remember his name. A- something. She decided to be polite, noticing that the door was locked and stood next to the Gryffindor boy with a small smile.

"'Allo, I believe zat we 'ave met but I can't remember you're name. Im Salina Girard, you are?" She asked.

Lesson Three (First Years Empty Re: Lesson Three (First Years

Pxyis hit herself on the head once she realised she was dead late to Infiltration class. Just when she thought she'd had her head around the schedule, she'd managed to wind up late to yet another class. She spotted the Gryffindor, Airen, and the Ravenclaw, Salina, talking outside the door and so she hurried over to them.

She was so grumpy with herself she didn't even make conversation, just stood there with her arms crossed leaning against the wall as she waited. Hopefully, they didn't get in to much trouble for being late.

Pxyis then realised that if the door was locked, why couldn't she un-lock it with a spell. She politely asked the two to move out of the way and pointed her wand at the lock. "Alohomora," she incanted, and there was a click as the door un-locked. Not wanting to be rude, she knocked lightly as well before pushing it open and revealing the 3 students waiting to be let in.

Airen jumped from waiting at the door. He looked at the Ravenclaw. He smiled shyly.

"Salve (Hello), Salina, I'm Airen Auditoren," he said. He could tell she had a French accent, but decided not to bring it up now.

Feeling dumb for not trying the un-locking spell, he mentally slapped himself in the head. However, he felt rather like a rule-breaker, and thus uncomfortably shifted in his seat at the front when he sat down. He was willing to do his punishment, but he'd ask about that after class.

Pxyis followed Airen inside the classroom, taking a seat next to Charlotte and trying to do so quietly so as not to disturb the teacher and Charlotte's conversation, though she was pretty sure she had already disrupted them by un-locking the door and letting everyone inside.

Salina trailed into the classroom, feeling ridiculous for not thinking of the un-locking charm. She immediately followed Airen, feeling as if Pxyis was not in a talkative mood, and she needed to make more friends other than Leshia.

She sat down beside Airen, but didn't speak in case the teacher got mad at them for not only getting late, but talking in class. Instead, she just smiled weakly at him.

Lesson Three (First Years Empty Re: Lesson Three (First Years

Post by Charlotte Smith Wed Jan 11, 2012 7:27 pm

Charlotte pouted, she had hoped that there would be no lesson today since it was just them two but, no such luck, sitting on her father's desk she folded her arms and pouted, she was going to try every trick in the book to get out of this.

"But DAAAAADDYYYYY I already know how to do that, better than anyone else in this class."

Sighing Charlotte thought for a moment and shrugged her shoulders, she hadn't actually given it much thought since she knew that she was able to disguise herself without the use of magic or charms.

"I'm sorry but I don't know, it would just be so much easier if everyone was a changer like-"

Eyes widening as the door opened Charlotte blinked at the students and blushed slightly, smiling widely at the sight of Pyxis and Airen but she realised that she might need to cover her words up a little bit.

"That girl, Tonks or something, I read about her."

Lesson Three (First Years Empty Re: Lesson Three (First Years

Post by Guest Wed Jan 11, 2012 8:31 pm

Pxyis hadn't heard anything before entering the classroom other than Charlotte's comment about a known war heroine and friend of the Harry Potter, Nymphadora Tonks. "I've read about her," Pxyis chimed in, smiling brightly.

"She was an metamorphigus, wasn't she? I wish I could be an metamorphigus, but I guess i'll just have to stick to the Glamour charm when trying to disguise myself," Pxyis sighed dramatically, before noticing that Charlotte was looking suspicious. Pxyis decided to ignore it, not wanting to pry into her friends private details that she probably wouldn't want to share.

((OOC: Meant to write metamorphigus, not animagus^))

Post by Haley Vilde Smith Wed Jan 11, 2012 10:25 pm

Haley walked into the classroom, hearing Pxyis saying something about Nymphadora Tonks.

"She was an animagus, wasn't she? I wish I could be an animagus, but I guess i'll just have to stick to the Glamour charm when trying to disguise myself."

Haley smiled to her and said: "Nah, she wasn't an animagus. She was a metamorph-something. And it would be awesome to shift like that!"

Then Haley remembered that she was actually in class, so she put on an innocent face and went to sit down at the closest table.

Charlotte smiled and nodded her head, indeed it was true and she took most of her inspiration from Tonks as she knew how to deal with the issues of being like she was and being able to live a normal life...up until her death.

With that she moved back to her seat and wondered about what the charm was that would disguise people that weren't like her, Pyxis had just said it but she had never seen it in action.

Hopefully she would.

Post by Parker Emery Fri Jan 13, 2012 4:50 pm

After listening in to a few other students, Parker heard about the class and became interested. He was making his way through the corridors, hoping he's be on time, but expecting he wouldn't be. He never seemed to be able to get anywhere on time as of late.

He came to the door of the room, peeking in, noticing the students in there. All he recognized from other class, and he smiled a bit seeing Pxyis there. He slipped in, quickly going to take a seat, not paying attention to whomever it was they were talking about.

Lesson Three (First Years Empty Re: Lesson Three (First Years

Cobalt looked up as more of the students filed into his classroom, rather late if he did say so himself. Sighing a little bit he gestured for Charlotte to sit back down as he stood up,

"Nice of you lot to decide that you were going to bother turning up." he said sharply, switching into job-mode. His tone was cold and his body language changed quickly from a slightly relaxed father to a man with a dynamic and dangerous air about it. It wasn't hard seeing as he was one of this world's greatest assassins. He moved to the blackboard, not making a single sound as he moved. He tapped the word on the board, "Disguise is, as I'm sure you've guessed, our objective for today."

He looked out over her class with a frown,

"The most effective way for someone, who isn't a metamorphmagus, to disguise themselves magically is a glamour spell." he waved his wand and suddenly he had the face of Richard Romain, even if his body didn't change. The face didn't really show any expression though so it was only good for a few glances. Cobalt dispelled it, "That was a very basic glamour charm. Effects only the face and cannot be used to show any really expressions or emotions I'm afraid."
