Herbology: Third Years- Lesson One

She sat in her desk staring at the scrolls intently. It seemed like most of her students had stayed and she smiled at the thought. She very much enjoyed teaching the class and she felt that she was going to be able to show them all the more about plants. While many found it dull, she found it fascinating and wanted to see just who would have natural talent.

Haley walked into the herbology classroom and beamed at professor Lily. "Good morning professor," she said happily and walked over to a desk.

She dragged out her books, eager to learn more about Herbology. She really liked this class, so she knew she wouldn't drop that one in the near future, unless something very weird happened to her mind. She smiled slightly at her own thought, and then waited for the rest of the class to show so the lesson could begin.

Victoria walked quickly to class. She didn't think she would be late, but just wanted to make sure.

As she entered she was happy to see Haley. She always seemed like one of those nice people that make good friends, even though she seemed a little troubled last year. Taking the seat next to her, Victoria smiled.

"Hey! How was your summer?" She took out her materials for class.

Haley grinned as Victoria entered the classroom. "Hey to you too," she said happily.

Her summer hadn't been all that good, but she didn't really want to talk about it, so she just said: "It could've been better. How about you?" she then asked, still smiling.
