Herbology: Third Years- Lesson 1

She sat in her desk staring at the scrolls intently.. She very much enjoyed teaching the class and she felt that she was going to be able to show them all the more about plants. While many found it dull, she found it fascinating and wanted to see just who would have natural talent.

As he walked in the classroom, Luke was surprised that he was the only one there. Seeing her so busy, he murmured a quiet "Good Morning" and sat down at his usual spot.

He knew that this was probably his favorite class, and he enjoyed whatever she had in store for them.

As Xander walked into class he almost laughed out loud. He smiled at the Professor, happy to see her again after the summer.

Taking his seat next to Luke he whispered, "The Slytherin duo strike again!" Why was it that people felt they could just not show up for this class. He shrugged inwardly and waited for the lesson to begin.

Seeing that her usual students were here, she smiled brightly and sighed knowing that no one really took interest in Herbology.

"Welcome you too" she said smiling. "Let's jump right into the lesson, for ten points, can anyone tell me a plant that we studied any previous year?"

Ebony was running late and hurried into the Herbology class room, she looked around and saw barely any students causing her to cock an eyebrow and look around in confusion.

She shook her head slightly and just went to the back of the greenhouse, listening to the lesson but not really saying much.

She watched what was happening and took a couple of notes.

Luke fought back a grin as he heard Xander's comment. It was true, it was usually just the two of them. The so called 'duo' class was shattered as another student entered.

Hearing her question, he immediately raised his hand eyes bright remembering the Mandrakes.

"Mandrakes was a plant we studied last year."

Xander smirked as Luke beat him to the first answer. Noticing the other Slytherin enter the classroom, he raised his hand.

"We also learned about Wolfsbane. It came in really handy in potions." He thought it was interesting when the classes were connected.
