Family Meeting ((Alex & Eris Hawthorn))

Eris missed the comforting home of Germany sometimes. Then she was plauged with the horrific memories that followed but she focused on only the good things. Like the first place she went on a date to with her first boyfriend, Erick Vostielve. She was only 13 so it being a crappy date was acceptable. Today however, she would be meeting with her only true family that she dearly loved, Alexandra. Alex attended Durmstrang and from what she heard was in the Geshick house; different from the normal Verstand. Of course, she was actually a Risiko and when she told her father he had... well, happy thoughts.

"Hello, table for two please." It was long though, until she noticed that Alex had arrived and she beckoned her over with a wide smile.

"Hey, Alex, how'va ya been?" Eri slung an arm over Alex's shoulder and smiled down at her cousin.

Alex ran toward where Eris wanted to meet, Alex missed her cousin terribly and she wanted to tell her all about school and her friends Alex smiled and walked inside the restaurant where Eris wanted to meet.

" Eris!" Alex said happily she smiled and walked toward Eris " Sorry I'm late, and I'm good how about you?" Alex asked her Alex had never been on time unless it was with class Alex smiled.

Eris smiled. Relief tugged at her heart strings. Yes, this was a good part about Germany. Her only, darling, cousin with a smile on her face. She enjoyed this meeting and was sure there would have to be more to follow. As they sat down Eris told the waitress to give them a moment.

"Eh, I've been late on some things but thank god my period isn't one of them." She joked before realizing that she was with her eleven year old cousin she flushed and covered her mouth at her risque words. "I'm sorry, I take that back; don't tell your parents I said that." She murmured lowly looking around suspiciously.

Alex smiled at her cousins comment she started laughing " It's fine, I've already had the talk" Alex said with a smile than she sighed.

" Dad didn't tell you about mom, did he?" Alex asked she knew a lot of the family didn't know but it was something Alex kinda hated to talk about Alex sighed and laughed.

" Well for the first time in my life I've been early to class instead of late" Alex said with a slight laugh.

Eris breathed a sigh of relief. She was relieved that she wouldn't have to explain her comment. She had to ease off the dirty jokes whenever she was around her cousins; or family for that matter.

"No, what's wrong Alex?" She asked worriedly, tilting her head and gently patting her cousin's hand comfortingly. "You can tell me, hon." She was nervous though. Would she have to tell Alex that she wasn't close to any other family but Alex's part? She strayed far from her devious father that she'd grown to hate with a deeply seeded passion.

"That's sweet honey but seriously, is everything okay?" Eris prepared herself for anything. Praying though, as she waited, that it wasn't anything too bad.

Alex sighed " Mum died two years ago, of an illness" Alex said with a sad smile, she really hated her mom died but she shook the thoughts out of her head and smiled.

" So any guys you like?" Alex said with a small smirk she really didn't have a crush on anyone at school Alex hummed and waited for her to answer.

Eris was shocked to find that her aunt was dead. It was a hard fact to face but as she leaned back in her chair she understood solmenly. The same when the only people who cared about her were the same people she needed to escape. She was happier now.

"Oh, none have caught my eye but surely one will. And you?" Eris asked, fascination dominating her face. She was utterly curious to see who could have piqued her only niece's interest.

Alex looked at Eris and smiled she wondered if Eris actually did see a cute guy and she didn't want to tell Alex she smiled and shook her head.

" I have one guy friend and he's nice but were just friends" Alex said quickly and she put her hands up she was glad she had one guy friend and girl friend she sighed and hummed again.

Eris smiled thoughtfully at Alex. She wondered if Alex knew that much about the older and more adulterated things of life. She shook her head clean. She missed the days of childhood when frolicking through flowers was smiled upon and there was no such thing as a job or currency.

"Oh? A guy friend? Do tell me more." She persisted. "What's his name? Tell me everything you know."

Alex smiled and sighed " His name is Ulrich, he's in Verstand and he's cool" Alex said smiling at Eris Alex liked Ulrich as a friend she blushed a light pink color.

Alex looked at Eris and smiled " So how's work?" Alex asked as the waitress Came back Alex told the waitress five more minutes and the waitress nodded.
